  1. Millennium Force! Call me crazy but I was much more blown away by MF than Bizarro. I think the first drop is what did it for me. GIB or Invertigo?
  2. That is wicked cool. sfmman2000 I'll PM you the story.
  3. ^Always right, unless I'm around. < Is always right even when she's wrong! v Had an awesome breakfast this morning
  4. I think Six Flags was purposefully exaggerating the question so they wouldn't give away any actual details. The point was to get opinions about the tunnel experience on a very fast coaster. The GP don't really know the difference between 80 MPH and 500 anyway.
  5. I've never been to the state fair, but have always wanted to! Doesn't look like this year will be the year for me, so great to see a TR of it. Ohhhhh Butler Amusements. I have a horror story about them!
  6. The Voice California or Florida?
  7. ^^^Now those are some on-ride photos! :O so much better than the kind Six Flags takes.
  8. Yes. Do you have a cat?
  9. Thanks, you have a good point there. I'll try to think about it that way more instead of getting too wrapped up in my perfectionism. Intellect is both a blessing and a curse! Which is why coasters are awesome. I don't think I could feel worried or depressed while chillin' at my home park. Exactly one month from now I'll be living closer to SFDK than ever!
  10. ^I'm not on the e-mail sign-up either but I can see it? Anyway... here it is
  11. No. Do you remember your dreams at least once a week?
  12. I wondered that too. X2 is the best ride there, IMO. I've never waited shorter than 1.5 hours for it, but it's worth the wait to me. YES. Medusa is still going as good as she always has. OMG I completely agree, that's what makes drop rides freaky for me. With a coaster, you can see where you're going and when you're going there. With a drop ride, you're up there knowing what's going to happen but not knowing when. Being stranded up there for several minutes knowing that any moment they could drop you? *shivers*
  13. Yes. Do you skateboard?
  14. Yes ("No!...No!...No mom!!...I wasn't even there!!!....I wasn't even there!!!...Well Timmy's a LIAR!!!") If there was a credit so rare that only you and Robb had gotten it, and Robb didn't count it as a credit because he felt it was unfair, would you count it as a credit? (Also thought up in the Crazy Idea Machine )
  15. LOL, yes. But I think I'd count it as a separate credit in that universe, not this one. Aka: "86 credits in our universe, and 1 in parallel universe!" If you invented a time machine and went back in time and rode a coaster that is currently defunct, would you count it as a credit?
  16. Okay hilarious dream last night! Here we go: I was a chaperone for a Jr. High group going to SFDK. I was in charge of a group of 3 (two boys, one girl) and I convinced them that we needed to go ride everything at Oasis Plaza first, starting with Medusa. In line for Medusa, they all got in different rows even though there were exactly 4 of us, and waited with the girl for the front. Rolercstrluvr was there as a spare single rider to go with anyone extra, and he decided to ride with us in the front. Then, right as we're boarding and I've already sat down, the boys come up saying they were going to go somewhere else, and rolercstrluvr decided to go with them because they needed an adult. Then the coaster starts moving slowly forward and cresting the lift and I realize the girl still had her backpack, hadn't buckled her seat belt (and it was the kind of belt that went across both of us so I couldn't buckle unless she did) and hadn't put the OTSR down. The employee was worried about the loose articles, so he had her toss him the backpack. Then I start screaming at her saying stuff like, "When you enter the park, you're agreeing to the terms and conditions! That means you buckle when they tell you, and put your loose articles away before you ride! If you don't listen to me, this is going to be your last coaster today!" Them my cat woke me up before I actually got to ride the coaster. I remember the OTSRS being very small and uncomfortable, almost like Demon's at CGA but worse. It was supposedly Medusa but the trains and station looked nothing alike.
  17. No! Do you count fair coasters as credits?
  18. I know exactly how you feel. Just do your best and you'll probably do fine! The people who screw up the most are the ones who don't show up, show up late, don't work, show up drunk, or smoke weed at work... all can be avoided by just giving a s***! My rant: In high school, I was one of four valedictorians. I feel as if there's an unspoken rivalry between us to see who will do best after high school since we were all equally successful back then. Just talked to the mom of one of these people...the same girl who "beat" me in AP English by being the only person to get a 9 on an essay (the highest possible grade) in our two years of AP. Somehow, we both became English majors. She only has one more year but I have two, and her mom just informed me that she's thinking about getting her Master's. F***!! I was thinking about getting my Masters! I know it's not a competition, but it would be nice to have achieved something the others didn't. Plus, for reasons I won't say, I feel like the black sheep of the 4 valedictorians. I feel the need to prove my worth as a person by excelling academically. It's stupid, but it'd make me feel better at our 10-year reunion if I was the only one to get a grad degree or publish a book or something! Pressure's on, here we go!! Junior year coming up, let's do it!!!
  19. I love these photos. That water slide looks totally insane and the facial expressions speak volumes. Was it actually fun? Or just painful? Or painfully fun?
  20. Thanks for the great TR! After seeing your TR, I don't think I'd go out of my way for this park. It doesn't look like anything special and has a lot about it that just screams "unspecial."
  21. ^UK v Somewhere in eastern US
  22. Elissa, you have awesome facial expressions. Your facial expression say more than words! Totally this! That stunt show looks awesome! How does one learn to drive like that? They make that two-wheeled driving look so easy! And that parallel-parking the one guy did? So amazing! This really looked to be a totally unique and intense experience! It's super cool of Mirabilandia and the stunt show guys to let you be a part of their show! Did they just randomly find you guys and take you up to be in the show? Or did they tell you early on in the day that they wanted you to be in it?
  23. I liked their quote about it being a trip down memory lane... but with your foot on the accelerator and memory lane flying past you at 53 mph. I think the strange analogies they make are kinda clever. Has any TPR members (besides Robb) been on this show yet? I've seen several ACErs. I, too, thought El Toro should have won... but I've never been on the Voyage so I'm not the one to ask.
  24. I had a dream last night that I was signing up for some long-distance TPR trips for 2013. I remember signing up for East Coast Bash and Leviathan Bash and telling someone that I was also hoping to go to West Coast Bash so I could do one on each coast. I really hope this dream comes true. I just need to save up the money!
