What song are you listening to?
RAWKIN_coaster38 replied to Mr.Six's topic in Random, Random, Random
Last song (song currently stuck in head): Bicycle Race-- Queen "I want to ride my bi-cyc-le! I want to ride my bike!" I was sad I couldn't go to Superman Sunrise at SFDK this morning so I changed the song to: "I want to ride the Sup-er-man! I want to ride it now!" -
No. Do you think Cedar Point's new coaster will be a wind-rider?

I'm glad I got to ride Disaster Transport at least once before it's gone for good. I don't know why some people hate it so much, I thought it was pretty fun. This event does seem like a very nice way to put it to rest. Wish I lived closer, I'd attend! -

Chadster's Vacation Adventures: Final Edition!
RAWKIN_coaster38 replied to chadster's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Very photogenic coaster in a pretty little park. I wonder if the cleanliness goes something like this: workers do a good job keeping it clean, park goers see it's very clean, less trash is thrown. That's super cool that they worked so hard to get Shivering Timbers up even though it was late. -
^It messed me up a little too. Somewhere around my 11th or 12th the line became almost walk-on and I was like, "You know, I don't know if I can keep doing this for another three hours." With the break I took and the break down, I had about an hour to rest. After that, the lines were just long enough to settle myself in between. ERT would be killer. IDK if I could stay on and marathon Superman for two hours like we did with Medusa last year. It's so intense! I think I'd have to take "breaks" by riding Roar or something.

^ Doesn't realize the down arrow is just the letter "V" < Only knew that because I played this game on another forum v Understands the way this game works better than I do -
^Superman isn't very large, and even a taller and faster version shouldn't have a huge footprint, but maybe they weren't planning to use all of Log Jammer's space for one coaster? This theory would support the talk of SFMM's coaster using that old tunnel. SFDK's coaster launches through a tunnel, but if there's already a decent tunnel available, why build a new one?

Usually would say waffles but just this morning was served the best pancakes I'd ever eaten.... and they were vegan! So pancakes. Old wooden coasters or old steel coasters?

I completely agree with everything you had to say, even the above. Medusa is still my love child, but with a tone of sadness I feel she has been replaced as my favorite. I hope she'll be able to forgive me. Is anyone going to this? LINK They posted this on their Facebook page. If I lived a little closer I'd be there! The first Superman Sunrise was awesome! And the lines were about 15 minutes or less! I definitely recommend!

I got to see Spiderman in 3D on Tuesday. It really took me by surprise and I loved it. I think it's MUCH better than the Tobey Maguire version. A few reasons why (hopefully without spoiling anything) --I think Andrew Garfield plays Peter Parker really well. You get the sense that he's still the same guy as always, just with new powers. In TM's version, Peter Parker vs. Spiderman seem like two completely different guys. --The explanation about the spiders and how he becomes Spiderman seems more believable. --When he swings through the city, you can SEE what he's swinging from. It's not like he's randomly attaching to invisible blimps hovering above the city. --STRONG FEMALE CHARACTER. Emma Stone was definitely not the damsel in distress. She kicks ass. From a female perspective, this aspect alone puts the movie far above the others. Overall this version of the Spiderman story seemed less like a fairytale and more like, "Hypothetically, this could happen." I really hope they make sequels, I would definitely go see them.

El Toro SFMM's 2013 plans or Cedar Point's 2013 plans?
