I just caught Dialga at the Spear Pillar yesterday! The entire moment was completely epic! I almost turned off my game without saving so I could watch the whole thing again. I went up Mt. Coronet with some lower-level Pokemon hoping to train them higher but mostly just got KOed. Dialga was a lvl. 48 and all my guys were 41 or lower... so I used pretty much all my revives just to get through. Ended up catching him with a Timer ball because of how long it took. Totally worth it though.

Lately when I'm making lunch in the middle of the day.... I watch the cheesy soap operas.

I'm clueless when it comes to sports and whatnot, but per a friend's suggestion, here's hoping the New York Giants win the Superbowl!! Also, after much deliberation I'll go with 14 duckies!!! Very difficult search this time but I love the challenge! ^This image reminds me so much of a water park that appeared in a dream of mine once! *cue Twilight Zone music*

Great TR! Very entertaining. I don't know anything about this park so it's cool to finally see a TR about it. -
Bizarro SFNE Water slides: tube or body slide?
-
No, but fair rides, yes. Do you work more than one job?
-
No, but I have gashed myself on the shower door tripping onto it. Do you stay up past midnight most nights?

... rainbows, sunshine, and unicorn piss. All these items are very difficult to obtain, but can easily be bought from...

So our community is a really tight-knit community and whenever something bad happens to someone it hits us all really hard... I just found out a guy from my high school died. He dated a casual friend of mine for a really long time and I never talked to him until I hung out with him and a group of friends a few months after high school and we started texting each other off and on. He was the sweetest guy and loved everyone. I can't believe he's gone. I saw him posting on Facebook just a day or two ago, and now I'm never going to hear from him again. I didn't even realize anything had happened until I read a memorial post from the friend who dated him. She didn't even mention his name in the post or that he'd died but I quickly figured it out when I went to his Facebook. I was just talking to another mutual friend and they think he may have drank too much and that's what caused it.... I really wish I got to know him better than I did, but I'm still going to miss him. We're all going to miss him. He's going to leave a big hole in our community.

My reaction:

^There's the "overt" thing an ad is trying to sell (the product itself), then there are all the "subconscious" things the ad sells (i.e. selling sex, selling family, selling excitement, etc.) Some people associate piercings and tattoos with a more "edgy" lifestyle (sex, drugs and rock n' roll!).... so thus the ad could be inadvertently selling "edginess" by including pierced or tattooed people.... but you'd think this would be the sort of think an amusement park would like? I guess not for a park that's considered more "family-oriented."
-
Why not? Isn't tattoos and piercings the 'in' thing now..... what's wrong with that? I think it would be cool in these commercials to see a train load of 'normal' people with some riders covered in tattoos and body piercings sprinkled here and there. I agree with you, but it's still prohibited in most places of business. Personally, I don't think it'd be a big deal to have a few people with a few subtle piercings or tattoos and it would better reflect the GP of today, but I think it's easier for them to say "no visible tattoos or piercings". It could potentially draw controversy so it's safer for the park this way rather than being seen as "promoting" anything. I don't fully understand the "short-sleeves only" rule. Maybe just to keep similarity within the commercial so there's not one or two random people wearing long sleeves?
-
... Colonel Sanders, Captain Crunch, and the Burger King, who inspired him to...
-
No, but I'd love to learn Do you have any tattoos?
-
^Yeah I was kinda frustrated at the time but I shouldn't be because I work that day anyway. I break these rules: I have tattoos and piercings; I could take the piercings out but to cover up the tattoos I'd have to wear a long-sleeved shirt and jeans. I don't mind it, do it all the time, but since they took the time to mention it, they'd deny me for those reasons. So it means I can never do anything like this as long as the designation is "spring or summer attire."
-
No, I can't sleep when there's any remote warmth in the air. Do you wear corrective lenses?
-
So far this summer... yes!!! I also have it really bad when it comes to sleeping in unfamiliar places. If I'm at a motel or camping or sleeping at a friend's house... I'll lay there all night long and then spring up as soon as it's a decent hour and be like, "I didn't sleep at all, but I'm super awake! Let's go!!" Do you know someone who has committed suicide?
