  1. I love cruising too but I haven't been on Royal Carribean yet (Carnival, Holland America, and Celebrity) Looks like you are having a blast!!!
  2. Congrats again! The only thing this thread is missing is a victory Yeti Ball picture!!!
  3. Hi Mike!! I guess you got to see the "Rick Rolling" up close and personal then! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxIvLcfNHPE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxIvLcfNHPE
  4. Just FYI...you can buy this on DVD from http://www.wqed.org/genl/shop/video1.shtml You can pick it up on eBay cheaper though for about $15 with shipping. The DVD has an extra hour of additional material includes old commercials, black & white movies, and stuff that didn't fit in the original show. The DVD bonus material was worth it for us!
  5. Voted one last time! We've enjoyed all the Yeti Ball costumes too!!! (crossing fingers for you guys!!!)
  6. Yay! I see you got the Kennywood one I sent! Cool! Glad you've had such success with this project!
  7. LOL! Voted again! PS. What was Yeti Ball's middle name? In the first picture he is "Yeti H. Ball"
  8. I understand the "no spitting or throwing rocks off the coaster" but "no missiles?" Don't they search for WMDs at the gate?????
  9. LOL ^ to Captain Yeti!!! Voted again!!!!
  10. ^ Us too! We loved the Yeti Ball PTR that Robb originally posted with him going bowling and going to England!
  11. I thought I read a post on a Conneaut message board that said the park is only getting fifty cents of the $15 ticket price for the haunt (?) I hope that is not true....I would've hoped the park negotiated a better deal than that.
  12. ^LOL to the Yeti Ball picture above!!!! We love Yeti Ball! Voted again today.
  13. Hi Big Mike!!! At first I thought this was a joke, but then when I saw the video - WOW! How cool is that!!! So you seemed a little nervous - I'm sure most people would get nervous being on TV. (Although Jay was the guy who should have been nervous in the presence of Big Mike!!! Congrats on the TV appearance!!!
  14. I also thought they would expand the water area next, but these rides are 2 nice additions to the park.
  15. I think I remember hearing that song being performed at PPP 2005 for the 20th anniversary of the Phoenix. Ill be darned if I can remember what his name was though....
  16. Guess they weren't able to make it work after all From http://www.southernstaramusement.com/
  17. I got one from Kennywood (Pittsburgh, PA) to cover Pennsylvania for you!
  18. Cool pics!!! Was this the passholder only day this past Sunday? If so, I'm really going to be kicking myself for NOT going (since the lines were so short!!!)
  19. I second (or third, fourth, etc) the paying for parking. I think the original thought was to charge to park to pay for the lot (same as a toll road or bridge), and then get rid of the toll once it was paid for. But the amusement parks and stadiums have just taken it TOO far, I mean $12 or $15 to park for 1 day, come on!!!! I also agree with the employees standing around or texting on their phones, guests don't want to see that.
  20. This is a great idea!!! I buy postcards at every park I can since they are cheap and easily transportable. (although this also means we have about 3-4 plastic bins full of them now!!!LOL!)
  21. I have always greyed out on any ride with a double loop (going into the 2nd loop) ever since I was a kid. Corkscrews and B&M's are fine, I just can't take Arrow or Schwartzkoff double loops. I just chalk it up to me, and that my body has a problem with that style of ride. But I'll still always ride once for the credit!
  22. Ghostly Manor in Sandusky. While not in a park, it is on the way to Cedar Point and open the same times of the year as Cedar Point. I highly recommend it!!!
  23. From someone who has ridden Behemoth, we LOVED the new seat design!!! While we are normally "front" seat riders, we were able to ride the 2nd seat, and it gave EXACTLY the same experience as the front seat(without the long wait). Even when we hopped in a 3rd/4th seat, the open design was much more enjoyable. It does not reduce capacity by half. According to RCDB, the capacity for Behemoth is 32 riders per train, while Apollo's Chariot is 36 riders per train - a reduction of 4 riders. I think this is a small price to pay for a much better ride experience overall, IMHO.
  24. Expedition Everest.....although maybe I'm biased. Signed....Yeti
