What are you most excited for in 2012?
kumba830 replied to Chroniq's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For me it will be.... -Seeing awesome TPR people at Dollywood [Wild Eagle]. -X-Flight. -Seeing all of the SFGAm gang and having more crazy adventures. -
I kinda agree with the shaky camera comments, yet at the same time I almost liked it at certain parts (It's all personal opinion I'd say). Awesome idea and the song goes great with the video as well!

You need to ride more Vekomas then. This is so true Great reports Griffin, Kennywood was for sure my favorite park of our little trip. Mostly because of the great classic rides and Phantom's Revenge! [so much airtime O.o] Can't wait for your IB report, It's one of my favorite parks in the midwest!

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
kumba830 replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I personally don't see anything wrong with this. People ask if others are willing to wait out or if they want to skip them to ride with their group all the time. It's just more fun riding with friends. If you don't want to give up your spot just say no, it's not a big deal. -

R.D. I'm pretty sure I almost always scream "Oh Anton!" on Schwarzkopf rides. Great TPR Griff, that was an awesome day!

Jeremie's sister is having a baby soon. We hit 1million post soon. Congrats to you both -
Great photos griffin, can't wait for part two. To anyone who has yet to go to the city museum and enjoys heights, slides, and reasonable amounts of pain. The city museum is a MUST if you happen to be in the area.

I was just reading some of the old post in this tread. It's hilarious to hear people complaining about gas being around $2.30 compaired to what we have now.

Wow, I'm just seeing this for the first time and I have to say that this little coaster looks like it could have some great potential. Can't wait to hit this up on the NE trip, especially to try out the timberliners! -
Have you all seen the "NEW new beetle" yet? I kind of almost want one seeing that it has an optional 2.0 turbo... [Link to info and such] What do you guy's think?

Wow... This is a lot bigger than I thought it would be from the photos of the original one I saw. It looks like this thing could turn out to have some great air! Definitely will check it out this summer. -
Germany June 28 - July 14, 2010 ___________________________________________ About a month ago I made a two week trip to Germany. I stayed with a friend and his family in the Hannover region and had an amazing time! You can read my daily blog from the trip right HERE. Germany Updates: -Daily Life and Berlin [pg.5] -Goslar Adventures and a German Schützenfest [pg.6] -Heide Park [pg.6] -Der Autostadt [pg.7] ___________________________________________ Der Autostadt The Autostadt or "Car City" as it translates to, was something that was on the top of my list of things to do while I was in Germany. Not because I'm a huge fan of cars in general, but because it is the "home turf" of Volkswagen and I love me some German cars. I left early in the morning with Hans and his younger brother Cilas and we hit up the trains. It was about a two hour train ride to Wolfsburg, filled with near misses for trains and crappy card games. But then we finally got there, and what a cool place it was! The place is basically a large garden like area with different showrooms for the companies that VW owns. Including theaters, restaurants, test tracks, shops, and other interesting things. Not to mention the crazy playground with the "wheel of death". ;] It was really cool to see some of the cars there in person, especially the ones in the "museum" building. This is also the last group of photos for my Germany report. It was a great trip and thanks to everyone who has been following these updates! So car geeks of TPR, enjoy the photos. Heaven lies ahead! Along the walk way to the place, there were a ton of random placed signs. No Idea why they were there... But they were interesting. The whole area was really well landscaped. Euro-Mir anyone? ;] We had a game of kind of the hill... Yes we were stared at by other pedestrians. The "Euro-Mir" like structures were actually where they held new VW's waiting to be picked up by their owners. For a slightly expensive fee you can take a ride up the tower in a glass box, which would have been pretty cool to do! In the museum section they had a lot of past cars from various German car companies. And to think of it... I came so close to getting an old VW type 3 fastback for cheap. It's a shame it wouldn't be reliable enough, they are really great looking cars! The car that started it all. GTI's are fantastic, and it was cool to see an original =] I guess everyone has their humble beginnings eh? Jizz? Who ever said V'dubs can't be "bad-arsch" too? Yes please. Some people have super-cars as their dream cars. Me, I'd like a VW Bus. Bugatti anyone? Funky escalator ride. I can count this as a credit yes? Funky Escalator: The Ride lead me to Audi heaven basically. Yeah... Jizz worthy. One of the best sights I have ever seen... No joke. First thing we were greeted by was the new Cross Polo. Really cool looking car... that won't make it to the states. Scirocco anyone? For those of you who don't give a crap about cars. Look, It's Olympia Looping! [Photo credit: Robb Alvey] Hi Cameron. To end the report, I leave you with this photo. In the true spirit of a German. We spent an hour or more watching a World Cup game in this van. There is nothing like a German and their love for "soccer".

PHOTO TR:Jizzman's GREAT America Trip!
kumba830 replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great pictures man! I always love hearing people say good things about my home park, because it makes me feel like living where I do isn't so bad after all coaster wise. The SFGAm Day was awesome. I had a great time with all of the TPR members I was with and the ERT was absolutely amazing! [Jon... Not sure about those calls, But I always get people who call the "wrong number". ] -
Griffin's Plethora of Photos!

Holy un-flattering up the nose shot... But Patrick, my excuse is that I had a really bad cold. Ok? -
Yesterday I was longboarding with some friends. two of my friends take the street and me and another friend take a winding sidewalk next to the street. Im starting to gain speed on my friend so I tell him I am going to pass him, the sidewalk was quite narrow and my wheel caught the soft soil that was on the side of the sidewalk. I'm sent flying and I slide on my back for a good 30 feet, getting really bad road-rash on my shoulders, elbow, and right hand. I completely shredded up my new shirt and I had to walk to my friends house which was a good mile away. Today I cant even put a shirt on without it stinging, so I guess I'm stuck home all day today...
