  1. ^Viper... rough? It's one of the smoothest woodies out there! I've ridden Viper up to 29 times on days early in the season, It's a great ride!
  2. The video of Peirs on "Olympia Loopong" was hilarious! Oktoberfest looks amazing, I went to a smaller Schützenfest when I was in Germany and was extremely impressed. I can't imagine how great Oktoberfest was... [Mainly Olympia Looping.]
  3. Um.... Mines a brunette! I think mine is one of the worst so far.
  4. From a Chinese laborer. Do you want to see the movie "Human Centipede"?
  5. Holy freaking win.... Props for the Katy Perry lyrics .
  6. The tone in which you make your point makes all the difference. As some have said, we already have an amazing collection of coasters. Lately it seems that the park is trying to round off the park more and fix-up some of the areas. Which I am all for, seeing as a well rounded park brings in a wider range of people. Now, I may not be extremely excited for a water park addition. But this doesn't mean I won't check it out, or that I'll start hating on the park for INCREASING the capacity of a water park that fills up daily in mid-summer. They know what they are doing, they're not dumb. I mean, look at how well Six Flags is coming back from it's debt. They made an amazing come back, while still managing to add some nice rides and touches to parks along the way. Edit: I just got a text from "GriffyTiffy" saying that Whizzer doesn't have any ad's on it. Justice!!!
  7. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=162509&id=45279469027&ref=mf The construction at Quassy is for a GG not a GCI. V: I know I know, I realized my mistake right after pressing "Submit". Post edited!
  8. It sounds like a plunge slide to me.... Which I actually don't mind at all. The water park really DOES need some more slides because it is always hitting capacity all the time mid-season. I think this is a good move considering that six flags decided to change where Chang would go so last minute. Do you really expect a major ride when there is such little time to plan and such? But I can't wait to hear all of the fuss and whining on the Facebook fan-page as more of the puzzle pieces get removed.
  9. Haha! I cracked up so hard when you said this Fabian. I came so close to riding Alphinabahn when I was in Germany, and I was so bummed that I missed it! Commander looks absolutely crazy also, It's just like an inverting breakdance!
  10. Wow, the park looks beautiful! Looks very similar to Dollywood scenery wise. I keep hearing great things about how Power Keg is the "perfectly rounded coaster", and I am really starting to want to take a trip down there some time soon. As for Wildfire, better than Kumba? I'll have to do some B&M sit-down lovin to find out for myself!
  11. ^ They weren't shoving their weight into the restraints. But They pushed them down to the point where I was firmly held in by the lapbar.
  12. Germany June 28 - July 14, 2010 ___________________________________________ About a month ago I made a two week trip to Germany. I stayed with a friend and his family in the Hannover region and had an amazing time! You can read my daily blog from the trip right HERE. Germany Updates: -Daily Life and Berlin [pg.5] -Goslar Adventures and a German Schützenfest [pg.6] -Heide Park [pg.6] -Der Autostadt [pg.7] ___________________________________________ Heide Park So we started off our day by flying down the autobahn to Soulta... Where, that's right, Heide Park is! On the web site it says all of the major roller coasters have a maximum height of 1,95m. So when we started off our day we thought that one of the people in the group would not be able to ride much [but apparently he was able to ride everything as long as the restraint closed properly, so it all worked out!]. When we got to the park I could already tell that the park was very nicely landscaped. It also had a very nice theme entrance that looked similar to building you would find in an old village. As for the park itself. It is very spaced out with a lot of room for expansion. The park also has a love with the green and white color scheme, which is very noticeable on one side of the park . The park was home to many first for me. My first SLC, Vekoma looper, Intamin Pre-fab, Mack bobsled, and Intamin launch. As well as many flat rides that were in the "Flat ride city" section of the park. Note Worthy Rides: Scream: My first ever Intamin 3rd Generation drop tower. I loved how the cart would rotate on your way up, and the giant breeze you got while waiting in the station was awesome! [9/10] Schweizer Bobbahn: My first ever bobsled coaster. It was a lot of fun, especially the swinging movements in the transitions between the turns. I also liked how long it was as well as the helix in the dark. [8/10] Limit: One of the first SLC's ever built. Neck pains, weird speed decreases, and a headache... Nuff said! [3/10] Colossos: Amazing airtime, and the swooping turn-around was really cool but the ride just rode like a rough steel coaster. [8/10] Desert Race: Awesome launch into a tight banked turn, as well as some great "twisting ejector" airtime! I also really liked the sound track they had playing around the ride area. [10/10] Big Loop: A surprisingly smooth and enjoyable Vekoma. The only spots of roughness were the entrance to the corkscrew. [6/10] Grottenblitz: A very fun coaster, even if it is powered. The indoor section and theming was amazing! Wildwasserbahn II: One of the best flume rides I have ever been on. The station was great and you weaved through a bunch of gardens and arches. There were also scenes set up for the lifts with effects and such. Not to mention the awesome last drop and an approved amount of wetness. [8/10] Hello, and welcome to Heide Park! In Germany, you poop in a pot. Ronja is practicing her technique for using the Toiletten. Scream go down. But first, Scream must go up. Blurry picture, but the que for Wildwasserbahn II is awesome! This castle randomly regurgitates riders at random intervals. Vertical Loop goodness. Oh look, pretty flowers! The usual caption would be "wheee ow ow oww". But I beg to differ. This topspin ran a crazy cycle. Not to mention the ride Op. would send the ride around a second time if everyone screamed loud enough. Are we to fat? "Nathan, du bist so groß!" Are you ready for the Intamin fart?! [Holy hairtime] "VRSSSSHHHH" [The guy in the white is being spiritually moved ] Nom nom nom! The gang for the day. Turn into the station. ... and kiss your seats goodbye Coolest control panel I have ever seen. It's crazy how people stand up and jump around the raft to avoid getting wet. It was a great rapids ride to! It counts! "Scream you fools... Scream!" Am I aloud to say I did "Bob" in the rear? Inline seating + German chicks = Delish. Twisty! Self explanatory... Anyone want to end the day with some rides down the death slides? ;]
  13. Having been to the park I would hope it would be either a sitdown or a floorless. The park really doesn't have a "good" quality lopping coaster. All they have is a terrible SLC and a short Vekoma looping coaster. I'm very excited to start seeing construction pictures popping up any time now! Edit: Gah, the post above me was not there before I hit the "Reply" button... I geuss were getting a Dive Machine
  14. Germany June 28 - July 14, 2010 ___________________________________________ About a month ago I made a two week trip to Germany. I stayed with a friend and his family in the Hannover region and had an amazing time! You can read my daily blog from the trip right HERE. Germany Updates: -Daily Life and Berlin [pg.5] -Goslar Adventures and a German Schützenfest [pg.6] -Heide Park [pg.6] -Der Autostadt [pg.7] ___________________________________________ Goslar Adventures and a German Schützenfest One of my goals while in Germany was to visit one of those old cities with those "story book" homes and narrow streets. Well, Goslar was one of those cities. I traveled about 2 1/2 hours to get there traveling along the German countryside. I spent the day there with Hans and basically just explored the city. The architecture was awesome and there was a river that ran right through the middle of the city. Another cool thing is that the city was built to slope in towards the middle. So if there was a fire in medieval days, they would release the dams and water would rush down the streets to put out any fires. Then as an added bonus there was a Schützenfest going on at the time. So we stopped there so I could get a small taste of German fairs. The rides there were run absolutely insane. I never knew I could get that dizzy or get ejector air on a Schwarzkopf Monster III! I was kind of bummed that I was not able to go to the fair near where I was staying due to my host not feeling to great that day, but at least I got a good taste of their fairs. Euro Coaster POV Some shops in Goslar. The main fussgangerzone in the city. Also home to a few tourism shops. The streets of Goslar <3 Holy old! A hospital from the middle ages. So. Damn. Beautiful. "Gray one!" *punch* Then we headed more towards the "outskirts" of the town. ...Wait. What's this? Score! It's a Schützenfest! For once I can say that the bumper-cars were going WAY to fast. Ooo, an inverted swinging wild mouse! This is Devil Rock, It's name suits it very well This thing was insane! To think that my local park has the same model and they don't even run it fast enough to get your car to spin more than four times usually! No Break Dance for me, hopefully next time!
  15. I keep hearing great thinks about Evel Knievel, it sounds like it's fast and full of airtime. Which makes me really want to get down there and ride it! Maybe even hit up the St.Louis City Museum

Germany Updates: -Daily Life and Berlin [pg.5] -Goslar Adventures and a German Schützenfest [pg.6] -Heide Park [pg.6] -Der Autostadt [pg.7] ___________________________________________ Daily Life and Berlin My experiences in Germany were so awesome. Yes I had been taking German the last few years. So I sort of knew what to expect, although not everything was as I thought. I realized that they ride bikes a LOT more than we do here in the states[Possibly why we are so damn fat?] and they also use rail transportation a ton. While my whole life here in the states I had not used the train once, I took the train almost every other day while I was in Germany. I mean, why can't we have a well run rail system with stops in almost every decently sized city that doesn't cost a buttload to ride[because we probably don't realize the benefits]? Also, their fridges are super small, they love "Chicago gangsters", and are way ahead in fashion. As for Berlin, it's not like skyscrapers and such[which I though it would be]. The city was mainly very low laying, but spread out. There were a lot of cool sights and history that I got to learn about. The main railway station there is the biggest in Europe and you can definitely tell. Then, before we left, I got to experience some European shops in one of the malls downtown. Photos Waiting around at the Chicago airport to leave my first time flying alone. You take me cross ocean, ok now? Here you go Jeremie, I listened to this half of my trip there. Hallo Deutschland! By the time I make it to the place that I am staying I already was having a cargasm. I love how close all of the houses are in this village. It just sort of has a little charm to it. Me, Immature? Never! One of my German friends wanted to party one last time [being Europe that includes beer] before he went off to serve in the army. What a fun night! [This is the Mayor Hall of Hannover] An old church destroyed in WWII. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing.... Random lakes = Topless chicks and naked old people. Delish! Darn you shrub maze! >.< This was at a nice garden in Hannover, and later that day I went to the movies and watched Prince of Persia in German. Thank God there weren't a lot of talking parts. Me-Hans-Hans' brother Cilas We weren't exactly the quietest people in the garden... Haha. Something about the tallest fountain, maybe in the world... Or just europe... I have no idea. Mmmm trams. RB [Regional Bahn] trains were practically my second home in Germany. Apfelschrole <3 This poor bike has been literally raped. Haha, I love how my face looks so messed up in this photo. The girl in this photo couldn't speak english very well, so most of them time I would have to struggle to tell her something. She ended up being one of my favorite people I met during the trip. Grape soda in Europe actually taste like Grape. I think the USA should try out this crazy concept some time. ;] Land Rover Defender anyone? The last of these pictures are from Berlin, one of my favorite cities I have ever been to. More Gardens... Seriously some of these gardens go on forever! Ich liebe es! My favorite of all the sights I saw was the Dom. Some of these building were just so darn beautiful. Don't ask why... It just reminds me of Narnia. This is basically the "White House" of Germany. Pretty modern looking if you ask me. The German Parliament building! "Oh yes, i've always wanted some Berlin noodles!" Next up is Goslar and a German festival!
  17. NU looks way different than it did in its "camp Snoopy" days! I hope everyone has an awesome trip! [glitter hands PWNS]
  18. For me the list is: Fanta Fruit Punch is amazing. I drank it all the time when I went to Belize. Sprecher Ravin' Red is great to, I believe it's a local thing? Then some of the average things being Vanilla Coke and Mtn. Dew Voltage.
  19. At 0:33 .... Ummm cool "pen"?
  20. Dear Title Fairy, I would thoroughly enjoy if I could have the title "Ohhh Anton!" thanks, Nathan
  21. ^ I think I have a theme song you could use for the SFGAm day! I also can't wait... It's going to be a great event at a park that I love with backstage tours and ERT!
  22. Also, only one of the trains run without wheel-covers. So that also makes as to why it doesn't run with them a bit more confusing.
  23. ^ Oh I wasn't just asking you how Viper was doing. That goes out to anyone who has been there recently. But yeah, Saturdays suck balls crowd wise mid-season. That's why I try to avoid them at all cost usually.
  24. ^You thought that a SATURDAY in July wouldn't be that crowded? That's probably one of the times which you see the park at it's busiest no matter what the weather is. It's great to hear that Eagle is running strong this year, but how is Viper doing lately?
