It’s a good time to be a Disney fan. Fun fact! I auditioned and was called back TWICE to “star” in that Smugglers Run spot. So like, casting was quite a process for this little teaser. And in the final cut, they don’t even show the actors’ faces.

I freakin' love it. But I'm not excited to see those white laces turn black by the end of the first season.

Well, I think they are! Should've said "the bottom of the drop" in hindsight but I think that both valleys (before and after the loop) are pretty intense (though a little bit more controlled than what happens afterward). Ahhh that makes sense! I was thinking you were somehow experiencing some secret airtime that I needed to find out about.

Of all the great things I’ve heard (and said) about Kumba, this is not one of them. Lol

^I’d say you just encountered an uninformed employee. When I was there, some of the Fast Lane employees let me right through when I said I was a single rider, while others looked like they had no idea what I was talking about.

^^I don’t disagree with you. As fun as Steel Vengeance is, that weird trackwork is what keeps it from being one of my top...3?...coasters. Something about those mid-element kinks just feels clunky and cheap to me in a way that separates their coasters from the intense masterpieces from Intamin.

^I agree. I went to Fright Fest for the first time on Sunday and was really impressed. The mazes were way higher quality than I was expecting and the crowds were much smaller than Knott's.

^The “unleash” event takes place at the entrance to the DC area this year, right by Lex Luthor’s entrance.

This was a surprise! I went to the park for the first time last weekend and thought it was pretty dreadful...but they do keep getting cool additions. Hopefully someone will come in soon and clean up the place. I also noted to my friend, "Interesting how there are attractions themed to Harley Quinn, Penguin, and the Joker...but not Batman." And here we go. lol

If they all run crazy long cycles and then take forever to park in the home position like SFMM’s, I’m not sure this is true...

The drop into the tunnel is exactly what I was hoping for when Valravn was announced. And I really like how after the vertical loop there’s that downward sloped straight track to pick up speed leading into the second Immelmann. It’ll be a fun ride, if nothing more.
