  1. Jack Rabbit at Kennywood. Best airtime on any coaster out there.
  2. The look really weird. I never knew Zaturn launched right out of the station...
  3. Great Photo TR! The pictures are awesome.
  4. I freaking love this video. The water effect is so cool, and the song is catchy to the max. 10/10!
  5. LOL the after pic made me laugh so hard!
  6. Sounds like you had a lot of fun. Besides that one thing....
  7. Oh, I know I've learned that over the years.
  8. ^Probably the last you will hear to... Storm Runner is everything it's said to be. The airtime on the tophat is crazy, the hangtime on the inversions are 100% fun, and the launch is insane.
  9. I really wish there was another angle of the model. Liek and overview.
  10. Hey Jeff how long was your wait? Are they fast with checking/ok'ing the trains to leave the station?
  11. Well, this year they put trim brakes before the double-down. After riding it without them, whats your guys' opinions on this addition? The brakes actually go from the bottom of the hill to right before it doubles down. There use to be a lot of speed going into this element, but people complained that it hurt, so that's most likely the reason why they added the brakes. What do you think Robb/Elissa? Heres a pic I took yesterday when I went. They lead from the bottom of the hill to here. I would say theres about 6 or 7.
  12. Jack Rabbit at Kennywood last night. It was the second to last train of the night. We got back seat, the airtime is MAD! Took this yesterday!
  13. SuperDooperLooper People said it was a great ride, but it hurt in some spots, and was somewhat rough. Don't get me wrong it's a great coaster, very classic, but it's a little rough. But damn that thing is the complete opposite of forceless!
  14. I agree, Talon isn't looking to good... Anyways, great pictures, I still think Hydra looks awesome even if it is forceless.
  15. ^Thanks John, but I have to get myself to take more pitctures of the other coasters...lol I'm addicted to Phantom's Revenge when I get there, cause it's so photogenic.
  16. ^Your welcome Ryan, I'm glad you liked it! My goal was actually to do the whole day, cause I never got any night pictures of a park before.
  17. Thanks guys, and before anyone asks, I did eat Potatoe Patch I just didn't take a picture of them!
  18. May 18 was my schools Kennywood Park picnic day. My brother is still in grade school, and my mom plans the pavillion for his school. (Small private school). So it's good to have a place to go back and take a rest, and leave your bags there. Also theres some great photo opportunities for Racer and Jack Rabbit! I heard about the Phantom's Revenge recieving trims right before the crazy double down. I was worried this would take the airtime out of the last hills into the ending brakes, and how it would change the double down. Photos! Rained all morning, got to the park around 10:30, and it looked like it was gonna rain some more Walking to the entrance gates, the ground is soaked! Yuck. After entering the park, me, my girlfriend, my friend, and my girlfriend's friend (lol) walked over to out pavillion. After getting there we met my mom by the back private gate to make it easier to bring the stuff in to the pavillion. AFter all we did have a grill, food, and more food! Pavillion #8! Opened up my coaster season with the Jack Rabbit! Train about to go down the double dip. Oooooh, I'm baddddd! The game building you stand next to in line turned into a sharpy billboard...I guess people from Canada like Kennywood too! Ummm, no. Running two trains already. (Blue and pink). Goes down pretty dang far! Entering the tunnel. Zoomed in on a train entering the tunnel. Racer red train climbing the lift in the background. Ascending up the big hill. Entering the station/brakes. Carousel. Walking to Racer I took this pic of Aero 360. After BACK SEAT on Jack Rabbit, we wen't over to Racer. But it was closed so we walked around the park once, rode some flats and came back to an opened coaster! We took red train, and won by a hair! Literally, the best race I had on the ride yet. The red train on the oppostie side of the station. OMG it switched sides!! WHAT! HOW!! The trains climbing the lifts. Red train getting murdered. After Racer we wen't to the Exterminator which gets very long as the day goes on. So I advise anyone visiting Kennywood for the first time, ride this EARLY! Logo. Walking through the sewer tunnels. (Excuse my friend's hand! >_< Queue theming. Warning sign. Sorry its dark, but thats the car. I was told not to use the flash.. After you exit, you run into the Exterminator Van. Time for the Phantom's Revenge!!! Tons of photos cause I'm obsessed. The station. Coaster geek shot in 3....2....1! Mmmm, chain! A train climbing the huge lift hill. Coming down that twisted first drop! Hands-up!! At the bottom reaching insane speeds! ZOOOM! At the top of the second hill. Down under the Thunderbolt. Turnaround. Coming back up from the ravine. AIRTIME filled! Close-up of riders on the airtime hills. A train on the double down, you can see the trim brakes on it. But surprisingly they helped! They didn't effect the last two hills, and the double-down provided smooth airtime instead of that throwing you into your restraint-airtime! A train on the turnaround, you can see the trims more clearly in this. Next up was the awesome 255ft. Intamin Free Fall......Pittfall! Pittfall was running 3 sides yesterday, here is a group of riders falling from that 255ft tower! Mmmmm. Swing Shot here I come!!! It ran one side for the morning then opened both up later! Me, in the green shirt. Me in the green shirt again with the cargo shorts. Johna (my friend we met up with) on the right of me. Siloutte shot! After exiting Swing Shot I snatched a few pics of PR. Don't know why, but I love this angle. Top of lift. LEAF. MOVE BIRD MOOOOOVE!! Love this angle also. See we have no crazy people at Kennywood that would ride this in 60 degree weather. Big splash!! I take that back. They have to be FREEEEZING. Next over to Cosmic Chaos! But we'll ride Pirate since it's on the way over. Signiture Cosmic Chaos photo! To see more Cosmic Chaos pictures you can go to my Media Day Photo Trip Report here. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35197&highlight=cosmic+chaos Next was Thunderbolt, heres a train diving into the ravine. Tbolt ran one train in the morning then two the rest of the day. Tbolt lit up with its string lights. Phantom...through the trees! Getting dark... Love the lights on Cosmic Chaos! The line was decent all day, never too long. I got 3 rides on it. (The ride was actually broken down when I took this pic, but they got it back up and running in about 5 minutes.) Rode Volcano for my last flat ride of the day. Then we rode Jack Rabbit for the las coaster and last attraction for the day! Almost got last train, but we were one off. I end this Photo TR with a on ride shot (Not in movement) pic of Volcano at night! Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it! --Zack P.s. I will most likely post some photos I left out soon!
  19. Wonder how this is gonna turn out...hmmm
