  1. Awww, one of the most readable TRs ever! I love the "persistent buzzing" face Jahan!! I'm with Nicole, even I'd barely bother with a jacket in 40 degree weather. Wimp. I love all the blurry people in the background too!
  2. ^ Nope, not unless there's an impostor who wants my modest count for some reason! I only have about 80 to do and although I don't have it on paper, I know in my mind what's gonna be roughly the top and bottom ten so... I'll get it done.
  3. Argh, didn't bother with the wood poll but had every intention of doing this one, serves me right for procrastinating, had no idea the deadline was this close, have to try and find time to do it tonight now... Stupid essays!
  4. I'm HOPING the bra was thrown in as a joke... The toupée I'm guessing just blew off in the wind (LOL, by the way), but the glass eye?!?! WTF?!?! SURELY they would sift around in there if somebody lost a glass eye... And I can't see somebody losing a glass eye and not reporting it. That's just odd. Guessing that was a joke too huh. Cool story though!
  5. ^ The problem with that stance is in your own post: Tigger did nothing wrong. If the employee is punished, he/she then has the opportunity and ground to sue Disney for unfair dismissal. And he/she would probably win. As much as good publicity is obviously HIGHLY relevant to the success of a company like Disney, the bad publicity caused by this event doesn't seem TOO major, and now that the lawsuit's been dropped.... There's no way they can let this employee go. A warning, yes, and MAYBE a suspension. But there's no way the castmember SHOULD be fired, and I very much doubt they will be. I'm glad if the family have dropped the lawsuit... Although I still seriously doubt the ethics of their home address being published on the internet... Ouch.
  6. My God you're a greedy bastard. Say goodbye to your arteries. It actually looked pretty good.... I'd eat.
  7. LOL at him not noticing the security cameras when he was there, or even later, until he posted his pictures and saw one in a photograph. I have to admit, I'd LOVE to do that, be in a deserted park at night. I never would, far too law-abiding (and scared!), but it'd be great to see. Wonder if the owl grassed him up.
  8. I think this would be an INSANE amount of fun, but there are so many difficulties with it, as have been mentioned... I'm sure it'll happen at some point, but I reckon there are a whole lot of simpler ideas to be exhausted first. LOL at the starter of this topic.... Pinball + theme parks = Happy Cameron!!
  9. ^ I've read that on the footage it appears as though the kid does something with the arm that's behind Tigger's back, and the castmember kinda recoils, but because he has his arms around people, he struggles a little and winds up grazing the kid. I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the footage, but the kid is completely unmarked.
  10. See, here in lies the problem. Lets make a clip of our child getting hit in a friendly-teasing manor, and then make it out to be an assault by losing half the footage. I'm often a little too cynical, but this is EXACTLY, word-for-word, what I thought. There's no mention of the kid actually being injured, so I really can't see that it was an "assault", and if it WAS deliberate, perhaps it was just the cast-member being playful? That would be a serious misjudgement but... mistakes happen.
  11. One of my friends' old teachers was arrested a couple of years back for prostitution. We did some investigating but never managed to find out whether she needed the money, or just enjoyed it, or... Or what. Much amusement from it though!
  12. ^ Atta girl, optimism is the way to go!! Pregnant Elissa scares me. Essays. That's my rant. Well, partly the fact that I have so much to write, and second of all, that my own procrastination is now causing endless problems for me. AGAIN!! How many times have I ranted about this?!?! When will I learn?!?! Also, I've been trapped in the house sick since Boxing Day (except for NYE, obviously, duh), and my mother is driving me INSANE! I should've known it was too good to be true for her to be SO supportive and interested in my life all of a sudden, she was just doing it so that I'd stop hesitating before telling her things. Then when I do start being more open it's like WHAM, DENIED. What was I saying about optimism?!?!
  13. For some reason, that caption struck me as VERY funny. I laughed. Moving sucks, glad yours went smoothly. That house is pretty sweet compared to a lot of student ones I've seen... How many of you living there? Good luck back at school!
  14. So is Cameron Diaz.... Isn't she?
  15. EXACTLY. It's kinda hard to put into words, cos I don't really believe in an afterlife in any sense of religion... I don't think there's a God controlling who goes where, it's not a Heaven/Hell thing, it's just.... As you say, for us to just be here, and then be gone... "Bleak" is the perfect word, and believing in some kind of soul is just less depressing. And if I'm wrong, well I'll never know, because I'll be gone, so... I believe what I need to. Religion IMO is both a blessing and a curse. It must be wonderful to have something to turn to when things are tough, something to lean on, but at the same time, it must be tough to have certain beliefs... I dunno.
  16. ^ See, I'm pretty much with you and Wes, BUT... A while ago, a friend and I got into one of these stupid four hour long philosophical discussions, and we came around to what happens when you die. I'd never believed in an afterlife, but since that conversation, I kinda do... It's almost as if I make myself, because basically I find the alternative, that then there'll just be NOTHINGNESS, kinda depressing. I know I shouldn't, it's not like I'll feel pain, but... *shrug* I'm one of these annoying people who asks "WHY" about everything, and I kinda feel like there has to be *some* purpose for our being, and in my mind that's linked with what happens when we die. Weird really.
  17. You beat me to it you b*$tard!!!
  18. I tend to stay out of religious conversation, at least I don't express my own views, but I'm curious as to what has sparked your interest in religion? Often, a person finds an interest and wants to be baptised or whetever because of a family member, I'm just curious if your family haven't instigated what you're doing, what did?
  19. LOL Ryan, I expected to hate it, but it was actually pretty funny, and at least you're something productive and having fun with your time! Keep it up. Miss you!
  20. Eating chicken balti pie... whilst riding a coaster... with a dragon... on the moon... I would die happy.
  21. Not that I'm at ALL disagreeing with the sentiments of the two posters above me, but I have to ask in what possible context were those your first words of 2007?? Did you just randomly blurt them out as soon as it turned midnight?? Mine were "happy new year!", as I imagine a lot of peoples' were.
  22. I'm sure Robb loves this suggestion, naming his baby daughter after his favourite kind of movies... Not sure I can see Elissa going for it somehow!
  23. I LOVE that you said this, I literally just clicked "repy" in order to simply post that sentence. Rides on the moon, draconic halves, Asperger's syndrome, and Wes being caring... This thread has everything I need in life. I love it.
