Flying Fish at Thorpe Park

TPDave - I'm sure TP will surprise us with the "Fish" near miss hedges, they could even tunnel some parts for a good effect. -
Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

But the "loop" was not the problem was it...? Now the train will be at full speed when hitting the 2nd Helix, that should be fun on your ribs. I have always said the design/layout is "wrong", you can't really be going 78mph into a banked double helix, the structure will shake it's self to bits after a few years. Put PTC trains on the circuit and see if the ride improves. I'm glad I rode it, a "World Record" has been taken away from Kings Island, another park can now build a woodie and claim: "only woodie on earth with a loop". How about replace the loop with a decent portion of tunnel. Son would really live up to father then What ever happens to SOB it will be great to see it running again in 2007 at KI -
Flying Fish at Thorpe Park
verticalzero replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The "Fish" started off as one of the 1st attractions at TP, I can remember riding it when it was undercover when I was younger. Every time we went past the station and control room the lights in the docking bay changed colour from Red to Blue. I do have a soft spot for it, even if it is "Mack" Kiddies ride. The old timers always want the "Fish" to be part of TP history. Tidel Wave is excellent, I wear full "wet gear" so I don't get 2 soaked, I might wear goggles next year, i All the rides at TP are very good in their own way, we can't grumble with the transformation of the Park over the years. Here's to a Woodie, Floorless or Flying coaster in the future. -
I like this "family" ride at Thorpe Park and was sad when they decided to remove it for "Stealth". When the Park said the "fish" will return in 2007 I was very happy. Anyone else happy to see this coaster return to TP..? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- How about scrap "X: No Way Out" and put the "Fish" back in the triangle, give it some cool lights from "Laservision" and call it "Space Station Zero Revenge

deano - I hope you can post the POV soon, I can't wait to check out the cool lasers and effects. Here is a Link to the company who did the effects for this coaster, It's amazing, your all "cream" yourself: http://www.laservision.com.au/page.asp?lid=1&sec=Hot+Press&id=2 -
What my Signature says: I love how you feel after riding a great coaster like "Megafobia", you have lots of energy and alive, I feel happy and more human. When I came off MF (in 2000) I felt so free/ alive and thought everyother ride at Cedar Point was kiddy size. I don't like the Winter Months, I get depressed not being able to ride anything till Feb / March. I wish I had my very own indoor Theme and Water Park to keep me going through those few cold months.

Hi Ken, I'm in love with NAD trains, their style, Working Headlights and retro looks. I wish they were in Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 for PC. Will the park consider to repair the trains so they are spare when the original trains are taken off for a service..? I thought Blue Streak operates with 2 trains, 1 in the station and 1 on the track. Do the original's weight more than the NAD's.? Do you have a POV video of the "Bug" working and of the "Blue Streak"..? Good luck for the 2007 season and hopefully I'll have a ride on the "Blue Streak" in 2008.

Cycled through a "Cornfield", not seeing the tractor’s tyre grooves, hitting them and going over the handle bars. -

I ask to ride a donkey whenever I visit Blackpool, I do feel sorry for them to work n walk on sand and hope they are treated well during their service.. -
I don't drink at Starbucks or Costa (Cost-a-packet more like), 2 expensive in the UK and the coffee is not that good.

I'm on the 3rd set of racing circuits of "Flatout 2" for PS2. I find the handling not very good even after maxing your cars, a shame as this game is rather good. I am also playing Res Evil 0 on GC, just finished the train section.

Top 10 Video Games of All Time
verticalzero replied to Coasters 4 ever's topic in Random, Random, Random
I agree with you Robb, The games should be out in the shops for over a year or 2. My top 10: 1) Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 2) Final Doom for PSX (PS1) 3) Tomb Raider 1 4) Grand Turismo 5) Super Mario 64 6) Smackdown Here Comes The Pain (Has more backstage area's than the rest and they are all connected) 7) Quake 2 for PSX (such an amazing technical conversion for it's time) 8) Bubble Bobble 9) Res Evil 4 10) Pro Evo 6 -
The best thing to do is: Talk to close friends and family, you have to be true to yourself and not live a lie. Yes it is difficult to live with being gay or bi and you don't know what people's reactions will be if they find out or if you decide to tell them. Most people don't mind and are quite supportive, they enjoy a gay or bi guy's company. What I don't like is the straight young guys bringing their g/f into a gay pub and they start messing around with some guy. Sometimes the DJ in the pub says something and they leave which is fun to watch. It is getting "trendy" to know someone who is gay or bi. I visit Sauna's and find it thrilling to check a handsome guy who is is in need for a "service". I want to have a "Rainbow flag" sticker on my car, but if I did that my car would get trashed. dmaxsba2408 - Your very nice
