What Was the Last Beer You Drank?
rollermonkey replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
For the 12,000 or so people who DON'T have access to the TPR UK Trip Super Uber Secret Forum, Derek is celebrating his 'stunning' victory over Elissa and Meteornotes in the final round of a trivia contest. He actually didn't get any questions wrong the whole time, so hats off, and cheers! BTW, how many beer glasses DO you have? -

The "Say Something Random" Thread

I just did the saddest thing for me this year. I dropped my Infiniti G35 off at the Kitakurihama Nissan Red Stage because there's something wrong with it. They said it might be the fuel injector. It will take until Wednesday to be sure, up to 7 days for parts and maybe another 4 or 5 days to fix. I might not see my car again until after I get back from the TPR UK Trip June 22! That's also the week that I am shipping it back to the US. I won't be picking it up then until October! -
DisneySea's ToT has a website!
rollermonkey replied to mb425's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm really hoping that I can trick my wife into riding this with me. She'll do anything Disney once, normally, but she doesn't like scary stuff like haunted houses or dark walkthroughs. I just want the on-ride photo of her scared out of her gourd! -
The adventure of Lil' Robby Robb

I'm guessing from your reaction, FlipDude, that Robb liked them and PM'd you? That's great! (Jonesing for #8...) -

I think that after I move to Chicago, I will need to convince My wife that a trip to Orlando is something she would like to do. For Disney, of course! I'll just stay in the hotel room a 'couple' days while she enjoys Disney. Maybe I'll have a headache. How long is the drive from WDW to IOA? -
Phantasialand Discussion Thread

Herr Ostchien, Thank you so much for that! A smooth hand, and a great looking ride! I really liked the waterfall. That will certainly increase the Nemesis comparisons even more! (Of course, this one isn't 'blood'!) -

That's actually pretty common for B&M's for some reason, especially the inverts. Last row, left edge. I'm not sure why, do all the zero-G rolls rotate the same way? Anybody know? -
Announcing CoasterMap.com!

That site doesn't seem to like my netscape browser very much. I'll try it later with Firefox. -
Wow! Dave's STILL nuking the site with that Fantazy Land stuff! I was hoping it was the people sreaming my Eejanaika vid. Dave, you are officially... THE MAN! So Robb, are you still prepaying for bandwidth, or did you stop that nonsense a while back? I can't remember if you told us this before.

The trains might be on site, but I don't think anyone will know until the ride begins testing. You can't see inside the station from the angles outside the park. Also, you won't be able to see the storage tracks from outside the station at all! However, I do NOT think the trains were on site when I was there. I don't think they will be put on until the brake run is laid out. I don't think the trains will 'arrive' until they can be hidden in the storage tracks. (They might be in Japan already, but still in shipping containers in a warehouse somewhere.) -

Hey! Wait a second! I know that sign off line! Are you on Rollercoaster Talk at Yahoo? -
Don't believe everything you see or read on the internet! I've actually observed her eating Japanese food. I'm sure that wasn't on the 'Elissa Friendly Diet'! But, can you believe that? It's on the internet, too!

HoliWood Nights for Dummies
rollermonkey replied to Raven Maven's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
So, Paula, is there any chance that the park will be open a week or two later than the 8th? That's probably the same day I'm flying to my next duty station in Chicago from Japan, and I've never been to Holiday World. I don't know if I can wait until next year! -

You heathen! You just now finally found your way on a shuttle loop? You only found it OK? How can you consider yourself an enthusiast? I forget is that a weight drop or flywheel example? One is much better than the other. I can't wait for the rest of your pics, you actually have a couple in there that weren't the 'standard shots'. -

I can't believe there's been 3,420 total downloads and streams! I also can't believe it's not butter! Thanks, folks! You give me the warm fuzzies! -
Sort of. There's a thread for WORST coaster you've been on. Seems like the same to me. Moderators, can we get a ruling?

This struck me as odd when it first hit the news a few days ago, but apparently it's the real deal. It is pretty close to finalized. -

For at least a moment, there were 12,345 registered users here on TPR. Nice number.
