  1. Looking through their Facebook posts, they're obviously religious fanatics. Of course they'd try to censor their "message" so that no truth is revealed.
  2. Proofread before you hit submit, please. Also, there is no way that SFMM's Zacspin is going anywhere other than the scrapyard.
  3. Just remember Boldy, Wildwood is closer to DC than New York so Morey's water parks don't count.
  4. Except that American Dream is not "down the block" from SFGA. Seriously do I have to go dig up the multiple pages in either this thread or the American Dream one where this has been covered ad nauseum? Edit: Here we go. Start there and read down. Hey, what do you know, it was you that was making the same nonsense point.
  5. If you can delay the trip a week, Kings Dominion (they open on the 30th). Intimidator (enough said), Twisted Timbers (enough said), Avalanche (only remaining of its kind in the US), Dominator (regarded by some -not me - to be the best B&M floorless) and a bunch of other great coasters and flats.
  6. Schools start early in the area and they cater to local school schedule Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk Wow, back to school the 2nd week of August...those poor kids. Wait, then why are they open on Wednesdays and Mondays?
  7. Can anyone enlighten me as to why Dollywood is closed on Tuesday and Thursdays in August?
  8. Here's a still image from a POV (1080P even!): Just imagine that over and over and you get the idea. Oh, and congrats on the necromancy.
  9. If you're referring to the speculative concepts regarding their 2020 coaster, we here generally like more facts (read: any facts) to be revealed before people go nuts.
  10. In case you missed it the multiple times it was stated by the reasonable persons on this board, yes, it is unreasonable to think any kind of coaster is coming in 2020.
  11. Hershey is offering an unlimited Fast Track now (unless they pull it before opening like last year), so that kinda negates that. But yeah, I'd still spend a day and a half a Hershey instead of SFGAdv. You can get in after 7PM the night before your main visit for no extra charge...they call it "preview."
  12. If you're in NJ and have an interest in large-ish ferris wheels, I reccomend the one at Steel Pier in Atlantic City. It's not as big as the one at American Dream, but has the decided benefit of actually being open at some point during your lifetime.
  13. ^ & ^^ Out of the mouths of babes. You're seriously comparing a craze game that launched two years ago, if that, and will be dead within another 2, with DC Comics, owners of two of the most identifiable superheros in history, and Star Wars, which has spanned over 40 years and is basically a license to print money? Wow. Talk about out of touch. No, it isn't. This is what you're missing. It may be "massively popular" right now (which I'd still argue against), but in 2-3 years no one will care. I have literally no idea what any of those names mean or what they're referencing.
  14. That no actual park has bought yet. NINTENDO. Not the same thing. Everyone knows Nintendo and their major IPs (Mario, Kirby, Pokemon, Donkey Kong). There's so much to build off of there and multiple generations of guests can relate. I had to look this up, and it surprises me. Shooting dark rides can be successful regardless of the IP, though. Look at the Reeses one at Hershey or Boo Blasters at Kings Dominion/Island. You're right. We're telling you, Fortnite is not as popular as you think it is. Yes, you do. And sorry, the 10-16 demographic isn't spending money at theme parks, and their parents would or wouldn't regardless of any Fortnite anything. It also doesn't change the fact that in two years, the same demographic that eats up Fortnite will have moved on to whatever the next "craze" game is. I only speak for me here, but no, I would have absolute zero interest in trying something, anything...a ride, a restaurant, a game, you name it...themed to Fortnite just because it was themed to Fortnite. And I am a gamer. Seriously, just give it up.
  15. I believe so. Right after Dorney Park gets their giga dive launched flyer.
  16. No, they're not, because in 2 years when the next stupid craze hits, even less people will know what Fortnite is. Even amongst "gamers", which I consider myself, its popularity is massively overblown.
  17. Just a comment on the trip down. The way you have it going, your trip from Shelby Michigan to Orlando will be broken into drive times of approximately: 11 hours 5 hours 3 hours If it were me, I'd stop somewhere in the Bowling Green, KY, area instead of Chattanooga, to split your first two drives to be 8 hours a piece, and just hit the touristy stuff in Chattanooga along the way. 11 hours on the road (plus time for bathroom and meal breaks) is brutal.
  18. What the hell grade is that workbook intended for, High School? Most of the math is beyond me, but then there are questions like this one: which seems like it's made for 1st graders?
  19. From everything mentioned in the announcement I think it's just a refresh and not a "rip everything out including the track and build from scratch" type project.
  20. Their name is "projektion", it only makes sense that's what they do. LOL.
  21. Glad to hear you've decided to spend your money where it's appreciated.
  22. Probably whenever those "family creds" stop making them a much better ROI than a major coaster would.
  23. My guess is one; the guy who took the picture. No one else cares or would have any idea what its for.
