I was driving on hwy 70 in Ohio going towards Columbus yesterday, when I saw a Semi carrying two huge supports. Looks like coaster supports. Anyone know if GL has started removing anymore coasters? The semi could have been heading towards Indiana or Cinci.

I have never been to either of those two parks, but they look really nice. I would love to make a trip sometime.

Are you serious? lol Do you understand that biased articles are written all the time because of relationships between people. Shapiro, no doubt has friends at msn and that could be why this rediculous article was written. Do you understand that concept of biased article? If someone isnt a fan of Howard Stern, they will say Sirius is not doing well. A fan or friend of Sterns will write an article claiming they are exceeding expectations. Do you understand yet?

Lets be honest with ourselves here. The only reason this article exist is because of Shapiro being a man with many friends in the higher up. Six Flags is hardly worthy of being compared to Disney. LOL

I agree the park looks amazing, but I don't belive from those pictures that there is anything that resembles SFMM! LOL Thank god for them! Nice pictures and report. I love to see pictures from those beautiful European parks. Keep up the good work:)

I say Phantom, if we are counting coasters that part Morgan. This is just not a complete Morgan coaster. I mean the first two hills make the ride and they were made and designed by Arrow. No offense to anyone, but I dont see how you can include it in the Morgan category. So if S&S makes new trains for X, would we now consider it to be an S&S coaster?

That stinks to hear the park is what I remembered. Sounds like the same problems as when I was there the last couple of times. I really wanted things to change for them. Maybe I will hold off a few more years before I return. Hopefully things will improve.

We should all agree the park is on its way up. So much better than the past. If someone other than Six Flags owned this park, it could be a gem among Amusement Parks.

I actually agree with almost everything you said about SFGAD. Very nice and honest report. It is nice to hear an unbiased opinion. I agree that El Toro might be the most impressive wood coaster out there. It is a winner! Nitro is a nice smooth hyper with some good airtime. Medusa is an ok coaster that is a good time filler, while waiting for a good ride. KK, if it is working, is ok to ride one time. The park is making some nice improvements and has some nice potential. I would give the park a B-. Like you said El Toro and Nitro carry this park.

The 'Scrambler' takes the cake! Still a fun ride every time. Great for first dates because the girl is forced to lean on you! Don't even have to make the first move! lol

Why didn't they put a little bunny hill where the loop used to be? There has to be so many things you can do to improve this thing.

Ok, maybe this question has been asked but I really am interested in whether SOB track can be altered to give better rides? Everyone talks about tearing it down but it is still a fairly new ride and it would seem like a complete wast to just tear that massive structure down. I think if a few airtime hills were added and the helix could receive better banking, this ride could be sweet. However, I am not an engineer so I don't know if this is all that possible. Anyone know more?

I can agree with that. If you are going to compare DD to other bigtime inverts, then you will be disappointed. If you are up for a fun coaster with several different elements then you will be satisfied. Great family coaster.

Yes, Cedar Point has the best skyline at night, by far. The same is true during the day, however, at night it is just simply spectacular. Just another great thing about Cedar Point. Goes to show that the park is not just world class roller coasters. The whole environment is amazing. Can't say that for every park. Closest thing to it is BGE.

I love the color scheme, but the first loop looks to compact. It will be a very tight loop as opposed to many of B&M's large open first loops. We will only be able to tell after we ride it I guess.

Last time I tried to compare two costers, Robbalvey locked my topic. I wonder how this one is not locked yet? Seems weird to me. Are you guys friends of his?

It is a really nicely themed ride, but neither is a great inverted coaster. The are better than the chain of Batman Inverts but they don't compare to Raptor, Montu, or Alpengeist. I am a huge fan of Universal Studio and IOA but Dueling Dragons and Hulk are easily the most overrated coasters. The theming is the only thing spectacular.

That would be nice. Sea World could use another world class coaster like Kraken. I hope they build a flyer that is a little better than Tatsu. Only time will tell.
