  1. I stayed at a Rodeway Inn close to the causeway and it was OK. The room kind of smelled, but it was OK. My friend swears by the Hojo near the causeway. I think he likes it because it is near a bar. I've stayed at the Breakers Express and I don't remember any problems. There's not a restaurant onsite, but Sandusky has like 8 million restaurants to choose from. The McDonald's next door has to be the slowest-serving McDonald's in the U.S.!
  2. Great photos! It looks like you had fun, despite the rain. In all the storms I've seen in Florida, I've never seen clouds like that!
  3. ^All those on the Midwest trip...be sure to buy a Mean Streak souvenir photo before 3 pm. We want to see the look of pain on your faces!
  4. People Who Will Never Get Laid 1. Star Trek Guy 2. Barry 3. Jahan The answer is obvious...Jahan and I need to make sweeeeeeeeeeeet love.
  5. WTF? This guy needs to be sent to "Pound Me in the Ass" prison.
  6. I think R&E need to make many Joey and Dan masks. The trip participants can run around the park, wearing the masks and running around the parks!
  7. ^You'll see a lot of Dan and Joey on the Japan trip.
  8. Source: http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=ind_focus.story&STORY=/www/story/08-03-2007/0004638788&EDATE=FRI+Aug+03+2007,+06:00+AM Bah humbug to this list! How did Family Kingdom end up on it? That park was bordering on ghetto. Where is Dollywood and Silver Dollar City? Boo to the list!
  9. The notebook looks terrible, but I'm surprised it still works. That's Dell quality for you!
  10. Oh. My. God. It's worse than I thought it would be. For the people not on the trip, this wasn't my post. This post (quoted above) was my mother under my username. Sssssssssssssssssuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeee...blame it on your mom! Next thing you know, your dog will eat your homework. Kidding...it happens. I know people who share computers and they post under their roommate's username all the time on different message boards!
  11. ^Let's hope the Astroworld Batman is never put up again. It had the Marquis de Sade restraints and it hurt like a mofo! Let it rest in pieces!
  12. Eh, I'll skip the Chipmunks movie. Why are so many movies based on old TV shows? Next thing you know, we'll see "T.J. Hooker: The Movie" or "My Mother the Car: The Movie."
  13. Are people complaining about the updates again? Have we not learned from the Spain updates? When I read another update complaint, I will be posting a photo of me wearing a Speedo and ugly-ass orange Crocs! Believe me, no one wants to see that!
  14. ^Monster Plantation is a cheesy dark ride, one of the few dark rides that are at Six Flags properties. I think it's worth a ride to see it's cheesiness.
  15. Great photos! Glad you had a good time. To save on parking, you could have parked in the Fulton Hotel parking lot down the street. It was only 5 bucks and less than a 5 minute walk to the park. The hotel looks kind of ghetto, but it was in a relatively safe place. My friend said the Georgia Cyclone was like being beaten with a baseball bat and tossed down a flight of stairs! He had a few bruises from the ride. I agree that the GA Cyclone is a rough ride. It has some of the most abusive ejector airtime ever on a ride. It slams you against the lapbar and slams you back in the seat! I do enjoy the flater airtime on Goliath, though. It's silky smooth too. It's not my favorite B&M hyper, but it is fun. Did you encounter any Bag Nazis? Did you ride Monster Plantation?
  16. ^I prefer Thunderhead in the back, though. Dollywood's Q-Bot system is the easiest system I've ever used. All you need to do is scroll up and down the list, choose the ride that you want to use, and wait for Q-Bot to vibrate for your ride time.
  17. I don't think I'd ever pay $71 for a one-day ticket. I'd look for deals, like multiday tickets or Florida resident and AAA discounts. Like retail, you never pay full price for Disney tickets! That being said, like death and taxes, Disney tickets go up every year. It's inevitable. When Disney ticket prices go up, so do the ticket prices of the other Orlando theme parks. I remember way back in the late 90's Disney park admission was approaching $50 and people said that those prices were too high. Today, $50 for a one day ticket for a WDW park is a bargain!
  18. ^Some people need a hobby, like basket weaving or scrapbooking.
  19. I can't speak for the others, but as far as GCI's go, I liked Troy slightly better than Kentucky Rumbler. But, IMO, Ozark Wildcat blows them both away, and Thunderhead is a distant 4th. JJ I hate to say it, but I think like Jeff! I think the Ozark Wildcat is the best GCI I've put my butt on. I haven't been on Kentucky Rumbler or Rampage yet, though. The Ozark Wildcat edges over Thunderhead because OZ gives a lot more airtime. I think all wooden coasters should have seats like GCI coasters. It's like sitting in your own sofa!
  20. "The New Adventures of Captain S" It's about a dude who battles in old school Sega games. The series is pretty entertaining. Check it out at: http://www.screwattack.com/CaptainSMain.html
  21. Great photos! Stop molesting the statues! I'm afraid to touch Holidog now.
  22. Great photos! I'm waiting for Casey to tackle Ryan!
  23. Mystery Mine at Dollywood on Sunday
  24. When you see Spam on TPR, don't read it, but do sing and dance to the song below!
  25. Personally, I'm waiting for TPR's tour of the Jeepers in Maryland.
