Six Flags Magic Mountain Advice
BarryH replied to californiascreamer1's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
IMHO... 3 best rides: 1.) Riddler's Revenge 2.) Batman: The Ride 3.) Tatsu 3 worst rides: 1.) X 2.) Viper 3.) Revolution Best place to eat...I've stayed on the safe side and eaten at the Panda Express. I tend to eat at the chains at Six Flags parks (except their Pizza Papa John's) because I've eaten way too much Six Flags slop. If you're going on a Saturday, invest in the Flash passes. You'd be glad you did. -

^Cool idea! Better idea: make a music video! I've wanted to make a video of it, but I need to record the song. I can't sing in the first place. -

It's been a long time since I last saw this song, but I updated some of the lyrics... "Credit Whore" (To the tune of "Sk8tr Boi") A song by BarryH Montu I’ve rode Gwazi I’ve done Now it’s time for some Wacky Worm fun Hey, it’s an SLC You say that they’re the same Even with different names It adds to my count All just the well, I log them into Excel Rode all the Deja Vus And the Superman: Ultimate Flights They brought my credit count to newer heights I am a credit whore I need credits more and more I need a kid to ride the Taxi Jam The seats may be too small I may be too tall But I will ride every coaster on Earth! 5 months to go I sit at home Waiting for the opening of another Dark Knight clone Boot up my PC Access RCDB Where is the nearest Jeepers to me? I called up my friend We wanted to go To Astroworld, you know, To ride the Serpent before the park closed Hey, look what I found There’s a Boomerang around No credit shall be turned down I am a credit whore I need credits more and more I need a kid to ride the Taxi Jam I’m at 99 coasters, you see What will my 100th be? The Woodstock Express, of course! I am a credit whore I need credits more and more I need a kid to ride the Taxi Jam Vekoma skater time No kid needed according to the sign I’m waiting in the 60 minute line Does Journey to Atlantis count, my friend? It’s got the coaster part in the end How about Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls? It’s got a lift hill, after all Credit whoring can be fun Just ask Jeff Johnson Waive 5 bucks in front of the operator’s eyes Maybe he’ll let me take a ride There’s a Minor Mike A ‘Lil Shaver I like Here I found a Dragon Wagon I am in love They’re powered, I know But I still count 'em 'cause I'm a credit ho! I am a credit whore I need credits more and more I need a kid to ride the Taxi Jam Visited the Six Flags Over Georgia park Visited Dixieland on a lark Now I’ve got a new credit to mark I am a credit whore I need credits more and more I saw a Fiesta Express My credit whoring is in excess But you do the same I just know! -

^^If you think the Japanese are crazy when taking photos with characters, you ain't seen nothing yet until you've been to the Disneyland Paris Resort. I was at Walt Disney Studios. I saw Mrs. Incredible get mobbed by crazy guests. Other costumed characters were just as mobbed! I did not see a Japanese tourist among them, though. EDIT: What does "sheezamageeza" mean? It sounds like you just sneezed. -

Great photos! I loved USJ! I think I liked it more than USF. I was never a fan of USH, though. I was quite surprised by how the Japanese lined up in an orderly manner to have their photo taken with Jaws. In America, no one would be lining up like that. It's like every guest for themselves! -
With Universal Express passes, generally the pricer they are, the busier the parks tend to be. Thus, if the Express passes are $40 for 1 park, then the parks will be pretty busy. If the passes are $20 for one park, then the parks are overall not busy. November (except for the Turkey Day weekend) tend to have low crowds at the park. IMHO, save the $20 you would buy Express passes and use the $ on a nice lunch at Mythos or Tchop Chop. If you do find a day at Universal where there a big crowds due to a trade show in town, school groups, or some anomaly, you can buy Express passes at various gift shops. These shops are indicated on the park map. Busch Gardens crowds are pretty low during November too. If Universal is slow during November, BGA will probably seem deserted! Saturday and Sunday crowds may be a bit busier, but during a weekday, it will seem like you have the parks to yourself.

The desert ride was fun, but I had to get some insulin shots because they did not have any sugar-free options. OK, who still has the "Welcome to Tivoli" song stuck in their head? And also, why do I look fat in the photos? Oh, it's because I am fat. *sniff* -
I think the seats on Millennium Flyers absorb a lot of the abuse. I know I felt a little "vibrating" on the seats when I rode Lighting Racer two years ago. If it weren't for the Millennium Flyers' trains, I'm sure Lighting Racer will be as bad as Gwazi. I dare not ride Gwazi again due to: 1.) Roughness 2.) Ulta slow load times

I loved Tivoli! I wish that we could have spent more time there. If only we hadn't stopped by the ghetto Ruen park first! Oh well, who would have known they close when a few sprinkles fall from the sky? Why, I have never heard of a park doing that! For shame! What, you say Knott's does it? Aw, crap! -

Great photos! I wonder why HHN is being so Nazi with filming and cameras. I can understand no flash photography, but videotaping without an external light should be OK. It's been OK in past year's. I wonder why this year is so different. -
Good idea! They're both pretty hairy anyway.

Six Flags America Accident

I'm getting Robb an annual pass to Fuji-Q! No really, the video shows photos of the ride at the top of the loop. I thought at first the coaster stopped at the top of the loop! That doesn't happen due to a thing called gravity. Ah hell, it got stuck at the top of the lift. I got stuck at the brake run of SheiKra once. Dang, I should have called the local TV station so they can say all hell broke loose during the stuck time! I could have had my 15 minutes of fame! -
I got one... "Fuji-Q Land" In this land, there will be coasters and rides with very low capacity. Average wait times will be 2-3 hours for every ride, even the merry go-round. There will be a Thomas Town Land where KidTums can ride everything. This land will also have a Haunted Hospital, but it will be empty most of the time as people will be too busy waiting in line to experience that attraction.

I remember the 3D movie. It was like a 3D racing movie with a motion simulator. I don't remember most of it, which is probably a good thing too. -

I do believe some ATMs give out seashells, as Shane found out.
