  1. Kingdom Coaster @ Dutch Wonderland, a highly under rated woodie. Serious air time and speed in the back car. Park was empty, rode it so many times - lost count.
  2. That was seriously on the news? Must have been a slow news day in VA Beach, I saw it on the 5:30 and the 11:00 local NBC news
  3. I got some extra Hershey Park & Dutch Wonderland brochures from my trip last week. Shoot me a PM - first come, first served
  4. I saw this on our local news last night. You can click the link and vote in the poll as to what you think it is: http://www.wavy.com/dpp/news/UFO_at_kings_dominion_2009_06_15
  5. The Fly-O-Planes are a lot of fun, our local fireman's carnival had one up until last year when they replaced it with a Spider. They say they are going to refurb it and put it back up in a few years. I know there are only a few of these out there. Great trip report too!!
  6. Isn't New Castle where all the firework companies are? I know I buy all of my pyrotechnics from a company in New Castle.
  7. I would love to be able to spend the entire time seeing parks BUT I don't think my wife would like it. I was lucky to get Knobels in, of course its a trade off for the outlets of Lancaster. We are staying at Old Mill Campground which is next to Dutch Wonderland so I know I will get there.
  8. I am really looking forward to experiencing the PA amusement parks in June. I am planning to spend 10 big days in your state and hitting Hershey, Knobels, and Dutch Wonderland while there. I will be camping in Lancaster and traveling about from there. We were going to camp at Knobels; but, decided to stay more central so we could do more.
  9. I have a big year planned: Already been to Busch Gardens Europe twice (and will return many more times) First week in June, doing Hershey, Dutch Wonderland, and Knobels. Ocean City, MD in July various fireman's carnivals up and down Delmarva Busch Gardens Tampa, Sea World, Universal, and Disney in October.
  10. 100% agreement. The best show you have never seen.
  11. I drink aloe twice a day as part of my weight loss program. It is concentrated so I have to cut it with water, it was bad for the first month or so - but now I am used to it. It does keep me VERY "regular" "lose Weight Now, ask me how"
  12. Great trip report, we plan on hitting BGA this year - and I can't wait!
  13. Here are a few of my pictures from the day Here is a new one, lol Here are some coasters through the trees, a sight you only see in early Spring/ late Fall I don't need Jack Hannah, I've got More Pet Shenanigans (insert Super Troopers joke here) I saw Santa, he is over there on the bench My Daughter's first visit - 6 months old
  14. Great report, love the Coke stuff. Coke had a bottling plant right down the street from where I live, so I sorta collect bottles also - Only the ones stamped "EXMORE" on the bottom.
  15. ^I saw Mr & Mrs Claus as well. They were sitting on a bench as you cross the bridge leaving Italy. My son got a wave, they didn't seem like they were up for pictures - so we just passed by. Of course, we had been at the Yankee Candle store the day before and Santa was there too. So now I have a five year old that thinks Santa lives in Williamsburg.
  16. I had just entered the line for the Flying Machines when you took this picture. In the middle to the right is my daughter in the stroller with the other couple we were in the park with. Sorry we missed you. Overall it was a great day, I thought it was more crowded than in years past. We skipped the Jack Hannah show when we saw the lines. I heard they added an extra performance to meet demand. The Smokehouse was very busy all day, we waited almost an hour for lunch - but its worth the wait. Did anyone see the Giant skill crane that picked up Wii's? That thing was crowded every time I walked by. Also, how many Pancake and Waffle houses does one town need?
  17. Just left the park, went today to get my season pass processed. All the rides in the Sesame Street area were operating. I got pictures and video, but have no way to upload from the road. It looks like it could be open tomorrow for pass member preview
  18. Bravo Big Mike for getting to go to all the parks and "taking" us with you. I have enjoyed the thread and look forward to v.2009 So when do we find out where this party kicks off for 2009??
  19. I was a little disappointed it will not be open for pass member preview, but it gives me an excuse to go back in April. If it gets too busy on April 4th I will rent my kids to TPR members trying to get the credit
  20. I won a vip tour to universal studios, FL back in 2001. It was great. I have no idea what it would have cost - but it was free to me. I had only been to Universal once in its opening year, so the park was a lot different. The day started off in a lounge to the right of the main gate, then a guided tour through the entire park. Front of the line on EVERY ride. Sound stage tours - it was great. I felt like a VIP and I would recommend it to ANY one that could afford it
  21. ^unless its a Sesame Street stage show, all you have to do is rip out the benches, add some lighting, and re-theme the stage area. After reading it again, it only says a VISIT from elmo and friends not MEET elmo and friends.
  22. That's not real near the Sesame Street area. There is also no mention of it opening for pass member preview day, just the breakfast with Jack Hanna.
  23. I was at the zoo Saturday as well, I wanted to hit up the Circuit City in search of a deal before they closed. I really like the Salisbury zoo, you cannot beat the price. My son also loves that park, its almost impossible to pull him away from there.
  24. ^thats a deal - last I remember it was around 8 dollars to ride it five years ago.
