  1. Yo Gabba Gabba's own DJ Lance Rock appearing at the park Sunday April 17th http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=171513376230200
  2. The Claw seems to be working fine this morning. In fact, I finally had my first win: clawz.bmp
  3. Because I am planning a trip to Orlando in 2011, I saw this thread when it was new with the pictures. I remember thinking the watermarks were a bit much so I didn't look at all the pictures. It is a shame the original poster could not take advice from the season pros. Of course if he had of taken the advice we wouldn't have this GREAT thread. That being said:
  4. Here is another story from the local news last night. WAVY News story The video has a brief interview with Kieran Burke and some footage of the waterpark in "winter mode." The plan are for a MAJOR announcement in February.
  5. source: http://www.wvec.com/news/local/New-owners-for-Ocean-Breeze-Waterpark-in-Va-Beach-114271689.html ADMIN EDIT: I went ahead and updated the title and subtitle to use proper capitalization. Please be sure to check for this in the future. Other than that, thanks for sharing this with us!
  6. As I understand it, the existing Snow White ride is going to be the princess meet and greets. They have already put signage up on the construction walls about the new coaster:
  7. I have been the proud owner of a Busch Platinum pass for a little over two years. In that time I have visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg numerous times, Sesame Place twice, and Seaworld Orlando once. The Orlando trip for 2011 was to include another visit to Seaworld; but, with the addition of Cheetah Hunt and these new trains on Gwazi, it looks like a trip to Tampa for me. Its not until December, but I am excited. I haven't been to BGT for over 15 years.
  8. Today was my sixth attempt at the Santa Claw. Signed on early with less than 150 people in line. Just had my turn and lost again. Still have not won yet, but still trying.
  9. I got in line at 8:50 am east coast time and I was give the 8+. Now at 2:30 I am 30 minutes out with 27 in front of me.
  10. Look who has joined me in line.... SANTA CLAW!!!
  11. It is acting funny for me this morning. When I log in, I don't appear in line. I tried it on Firefox, IE, and Safari - so I know its not my browser. Also the # of people in line is hid by the tent you go in. I am going to leave it for a little while and see if it changes. edit: Santa appeared to make it all better....
  12. When I got in line this morning, there was only 199 people in front of me. This was 6:15 east coast, so I am about to take my THIRD attempt. I have not won anything yet, hopefully the third time is the charm.
  13. A big welcome back to you Big Mike! I only saw six ducks.
  14. I have 50 in front of me now, is the live feed working for anyone else? My screen is just black where the live feed is.
  15. I was 6 from the front and I got the message I had been disconnected from server. I said bad words. I give up.
  16. Only 130 people in line early this morning, I got tired of waiting yesterday. I should be up within two hours.... wish me luck....
  17. That is the part of the article that surprised me. 1700 feet seems REALLY close to me. Looking at Google, the nearest house seems a lot further than that. The more I read, the more excited I am for this new coaster. I like the name Verbolten, it seems to fit with the park.
  18. The local news had a short piece about Busch Gardens in "home town hot spot" segment last night. Its mostly about Christmas Town, but they do mention Mach Tower with some behind the wall footage. Here is the link: www.wavy.com/dpp/video/wavy-hometown-hotspot-busch-gardens
  19. I cracked this picture three times already: 1 - backpack from Dora, puts them in South America 2 - the backpack is UNDER the seat, putting the down under in Australia 3 - the blue bag on top is the kind of bag they use in IKEA, which sends them to the Ikea flagship store in Switzerland J.D. "my brain hurts" Outten
  20. The Big Bad Wolf was a popular ride and a lot of people were upset to see it go. I think the new coaster may be themed around wolves to pay homage to the coaster that was. The queue may go through a wolf habitat much like Manta in Sea World. I think the ride will be a multiple launched coaster going in and out of darkness with the possibility of storyline similar to Big Bad Wolf, in that you are escaping from a wolf. I also think the name will have wolf in the title: Wolf's Revenge, Escape from Wolf, Wolf Hunt (?) Just some thoughts.....
  21. I was thinking Williamsburg between my Park City, Utah guess and my South America guess, and I'll tell you why.... In the first set of pictures, Elissa is holding up the number 3 in the black and white picture. 3 is also the number of sides in a triangle, and Williamsburg is located in the Historic triangle (Yorktown and Jamestown being the other two sides of the triangle) It was the third set of pictures that really led me to Williamsburg. The night picture sorta looks like the incoming flight path into ORF (Norfolk VA) over top the Chesapeake Bay. The airport sorta looks like ORF, but a lot of airports look alike. It was the last three pictures in this group that "sealed the deal" --> Singapore airlines, shorten it to Sing .... Denver airport + Sing = singer songwriter John Denver and his famous song Take me home country Roads which mentions West Virginia ... the picture of the asses you need to look past to the water, so you look past WV to the water which lead to VA. The last group of pictures was just a bonus to this theory. Park City, Utah South America Australia Switzerland Williamsburg J.D. "don't call me Ben Gates" Outten
  22. I think the last group of pictures are a “few of Rob and Elissa’s favorite things” You have Carabas, French Fries, Bras, etc. Like from the musical Sound of music that take place in Germany and Switzerland. That could explain the mountain picture in the first group. Also if you look at all the pictures from the second group, and take the first visible letter: S – Samsung (travel adaptor) I – International Arrivals S – Robs Sketcher shoe R – Roller Derby E – top of the Exit sign You get SIRSE, which everyone knows is the Swiss Institute of Research and Engineering (http://www.sirse.com) So that puts them in Switzerland.
  23. My next guess is going to be Australia, the reef picture refers to the Great Barrier Reef off the coast. There is a Wagamama in Australia and the people and the picture do not appear to be cold. In the black and white picture Elissa is holding a backpack, then in the “VERY BIG” clue picture the backpack is under the seat OR DOWN UNDER the seat.
  24. I have a new final answer: South America. In the first group there is a black and white picture where Elissa is holding a backpack. The backpack is seen again in the last picture under the seat. Backpack = Dora the Explorer, and Dora is from South America.
  25. Park City, Utah. They are going skiing. Park City is where Sundance film fest is held. Paris Hilton is always at the festival. The "Hidden" comment picture is in Black and White, like some of the more independent films. The shoe pictures refers to the fact he will soon be wearing snow shoes. Final answer.
