Rollercoaster College Majors
holyblakbelt replied to Imagineer100's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'll second that. I'm pretty good at math and science, but I'm not that good at it. I'd rather help people than build coasters even though I like riding coasters! -

Thats crazy! They should give it to SFGAdv when they're finished. -

Maybe they should add this statement to the rules they say before the train dispatches... "Remember, never text and ride at the same time!" -

^^ How can't you hate Excalibur? I think it holds a grudge against me by hurting me every time I ride it. It should burn to the ground! -

I hate myself for agreeing. Yeah I agree. You get more wet on the Log Chute than on the Flume at VF. Plus I don't mind another steelie here anyways. Thats why I go at night. Less lines, more awesome! -
6'2" I'm glad I'm not the tallest here. That means that I can't ride as many coasters as I can.

Is it me or is the new VF commercial really bad in quality? I mean they don't just have the rides from the park, but also from Knott's, Cedar Point, and maybe Dorney (yeah, I should've expected it). But I'm liking the improvements though. -
One year from today and I will walk across the stage to get my diploma. I know it will be hard, but I haven't gone this far for nothing!

Valleyfair! Park Management - Head to Corkscrew, Wild Thing or Steel Venom first. Even though lines aren't totally bad, lines are usually moderate throughout the day that usually maximizes 30 minutes. - Go to the right of the park (like where the Wave and Kidworks are). Head to the back by Renegade and Thunder Canyon then head the way you did not go. Best time to go - Weekdays for sure. However, if you really want to avoid lines, go at night where lines are short and everything looks beautiful. - For Valleyscare, Go during the transition time between the family friendly time and the Valleyscare so you can actually ride the coasters. When I went last year, Most rides are closed. Food Recommendations - Ben and Jerry's is good especially Cherry Garcia in a waffle cone! - Coasters makes good burgers, fries and shakes. - Stadium Sports Grill also has really good cheese curds. Ride Reccomendations - Renegade is one of the best woodies I've been on. From the drop to the fly-by, it is one of the best in the Midwest. - Wild Thing isn't the best coaster in the park, but it is a crowd pleaser even though it chucked a wheel. - Steel Venom is a good impulse and it's an Intamin, need we say more? - Thunder Canyon is a fun ride especially if your sister gets the bulk of the wetness. Rides to Avoid - Excalibur hurts and is rough. My dad even broke his thumb on the ride! - Mad Mouse is OK. It isn't as rough, but in can hurt. - From what I've heard, Riptide can force any guy to switch their gender. - Avoid the water rides by the waterpark. they are pretty boring. Other - Take the time to visit Challenge Park. the go-karts are pretty cool. - Get coupons at wherever the advertise it (right now I think its at Subway). That way you still have money for parking unless you have a season pass where parking is free. -

I might've said it once, but I'll say it again. I think that CF will do like they did with the Morgan Hypercoasters. When one is made, then three more are made. I liked what they did with Renegade and I'll like what they do If they do go forward with a GCI. -
First Donkeys, now Burlington Coat Factory

How appropriate knowing that I'm going to B-Dubs on tuesday for my ASL class. I'm not a suicidal sauce kind of guy, but I like some kick. I'm going to get some Honey BBQ and some fries and that would make a decent lunch. -

9 more days until school ends! But 23 more days until the ACT. I'm at the stage of school where i'm chomping at the bit in order finish school. All I need to work on is english (Where we're reading The Great Gatsby, a tedious book.) and I'll have all A's and B's. I just want my junior year over with! -

Nice TR so far. The thing I like about Valleyfair is it does not have much of the bloodlines of the other CF parks (besides the trashcans). Even if I don't have a season pass for 2008, it can be sure that I will be there this year. -
NFL draft! watch it? Biggest bust?
holyblakbelt replied to amusing_parks's topic in Random, Random, Random
I think despite the Vikings traded their draft picks for Jared Allen, I think they still made out pretty good for 2008. Now that they have John David Booty and their defense boost, the team will be tough to beat in 2008. -
Our school did DoS today (I did not do it however). Our principal almost banned it for today because of it to be a "distraction". A couple of my friends from youth group decided to join anyways. Even though that I'm straight, I commend those who participated and those who have to be silent for theie sexual orientation.

Gas Prices where you live

We got a very cheap $3.39 in town. Yeah, it's not that impressive, but Minnesota has more cheaper prices in the nation. -

Well knowing how well Renegade did for VF, it could be a GCI. But it could be a water main themed coaster. -

^ No. I think it is owned by the city of St. Paul along with the rest of Como Park. -

holyblakbelt replied to timberskara's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm surprised Ashlee Simpson is still performing, that part did put a grin on my face though. She wasn't, it was really a hologram because she was afraid of a Britney type comeback. Anyways, good TR, and I'll be happy to ride Spongebob firsthand and the rethemed rides! -
Yeah, I'm not suprised that Nickelodeon Universe would be that busy. At this point, they should just turn people away until less people come. But the park needed a new sponsor and new rides. Otherwise, the park would fail from lack of ridership. I still can't wait until I go to MOA during spring break.
