Happy Birthday Elissa!
holyblakbelt replied to ebl's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Happy Birthday! Now have some cake. -
I went to MOA today and what I can say is that they have a lot done, but they have a long road before it opens next month. They added queues to Spongebob and Avatar, and added themes to some of the rides. But what I can say is that they need to shift into the next gear up in order to get everything done on time. But I am looking forward to riding the new rides that were taunting in my face today.

Your Park "To Do List"
holyblakbelt replied to DBru's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Valleyfair needs new trains for High Roller. It used to be a decent ride, now it hurts a little bit. Anyways, it's a good park with good rides. -

I second that, it even goes good on ice cream and broccoli! -
Worst Coaster Experience
holyblakbelt replied to airforcekid's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've had some decent rides on rollercoasters, but some of my family can tell another story. My sisters got stuck on top of the Wild Thing at Valleyfair. And at the same park, my dad broke his thumb on Excalibur by defying my sister's warning of advising not putting his hands up during the ride. But otherwise, we've had some good experiences on rollercoasters. -
^ I agree. Holiday world has only 1 steel coaster and I wouldn't be too suprised if they added a steel coaster. As for the Youtube announcement, it is a good idea since almost everyone goes on that site. If this works out well, maybe more parks will jump on the bandwagon and announce their new rides on Youtube also!

Photo TR: The Park at Camp Universe 11/24/07
holyblakbelt replied to steel's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
If thats the case with TT, Then why not just paint the track instead the supports since the ride has been open for about 4 years now? Good TRs are always better if you add an Ikea shot or two in them. But it's still a good TR. -
Photo TR: Matt heads to Mall of America
holyblakbelt replied to mcjaco's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Good TR .I hope they don't lose the home plate and the random red chair. They were part of the stadium that used to be in the place of the Mall. MOA has a good lineup of new rides for the park. However, my expectations are high because of the fact that it is a Nickelodeon theme park. -
The Official Nintendo Wii Discussion Thread
holyblakbelt replied to MiamiBoii4392's topic in Random, Random, Random
Now they came out with the Zapper, I will pay to see them make a next-gen Duck Hunt game for the Wii! Anyways, my parents and I are planning to buy a Wii. What games should I get ( Besides GH3 and Super Smash Bros Brawl)? -
For me nothing special. Watch big balloons in a parade, head to my cousin's house in town, eat turkey, play video games, and crash from tryptophan . Sounds like a very normal Thanksgiving to me.

.:: Penn State Student - Theme Park Study
holyblakbelt replied to a topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't have kids (of course), but I have a 19 month old niece so in the future when we (my sister and I) do take her to theme parks, that could be a better asset for her. Sometimes I think it's better just to take cell phones or walkie-talkies instead. -
A Day In The Life Of YOUR TPR Visit!
holyblakbelt replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Which board do I read first? The Theme Parks thread, then the random thread (but I've been cutting back on posting in that thread). How often do I visit? Many times almost every day. How many pages per thread? Usually the first page, then the last couple pages. What posts do you read more than others? Photo TRs, Park announcements, random things. Do you do anything else? Tic Tac Toe, Videos, Park Photos, etc. Anything else you want? TPR is awesome!
