I saw 1408 today. I loved it.

He was simply tired of living in his father's shadow and got lost along the way. No matter how hard he tried, his father always got the spotlight. He was sick of it. He began taking steroids to try to get big, strong, and fast. It was a bad decision and there is no recovering now. He isn't adopted, but was just too much of a rebel. Some would say his father is the one to blame, other may claim he was teased in school. No matter what the cause, he made a bad move and it will be impossible to go back now. Growing up without a mother is hard, and raising a child alone is tough as well. Don't blame Dad though, every night he wonders where he went wrong in rasing his son.

1408 I have been looking forward to this movie ever since I heard about it a few months ago. I was a little worried about it though because of the director's past bad work, and the PG-13 rating. It was great though. It was actually scary and also creative. I am a fan of John Cusack and Sameul L. Jackson did a good job with his small role. I highly recommend it.

After I thought about it some more, I don't think anybody else should host the show. I don't want the show to go off the air, either. I think they should keep the same time slot and play old episodes of it.

I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it, but I wouldn't boycott it either. It will be impossible to adaquetly replace Bob Barker, no matter who they choose.

I have about thirty pages left of Wicked. It is good for the most part. The writing style is simple, but the story is complex. The book goes more in depth, but the musical in a way explains more things. It is really very atmospheric, philisophical material. I think it was Gregory Maguire's first book; the writing gets better, even if the plot depressing, as it goes along. I will be reading The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand after Wicked.

Cheerleading requires physical stamina and endurance, more so than some "real" sports. I voted that cheerleading is a sport in its own right; it takes skill and it is challenging to do if you are out of shape.

People say they can't stand the biggest news stories being about celebrities, yet they can't stop talking about them. I find it disturbing that people are getting such impressive pleasure from someone being sent to jail. I'm not saying she doesn't deserve a little jail time, but I can't take anyone seriously who enjoys all of this.
