Waitaminute... a Schwarzkopf flying coaster? Could they have dusted off some old plans and are having B&M build a new version of that ride? Not to mention the mysterious track that's been lying around the B&M plant for some time. Squid

I've heard that it will be a retheme and addition to the kid's play area. I am also assuming that the Suwanee River addition to the lazy river will be removed to add in some land for this project. Squid

So does that mean there's a China and a Japan trip planned for 2012? I need to start saving now! Squid

It would be very nice to get another indoor attraction at SFoG. SFI does have a few dark rides around besides Monster Mansion... there's one in Texas, for example. But anything that gets people out of the heat and into some air conditioning is fine by me! Squid

There was a rumor going around a while back that said they were adding in a special transfer track so they could give disabled guests an easier way to board and unload without holding up the other trains on the course. Did they do this? Squid

I know one of the reasons why American parks don't allow outside food is the vendors. Major food vendors send people into the parks on occasion and will report back if they see any outside food, especially if it's a rival. (Coke, I'm looking at you!) The parks then get in trouble with their food contractors. Sad, but true. Squid

I work at a park with Four! B&Ms and I don't get to ride any of them any day! So he's definitely cool in my book! Squid

What I meant by finished the switch track is that, in my experience with dual station flyers, the switch track has 4 rails instead of two. I don't know what Manta's config is, but Superman's here at SFoG has 4 rails. I can see that your work is improving... Have you considered architecture for a living? You've got a talent for the modelling. Squid

Offhand, do you want picture for rides and attractions for kids? What about rides and attractions that are no longer in the park?

Isn't the white coaster the one they're building to set the new coaster speed record? Not RingRacer, the one that is supposed to do 150 mph? And dubaidave, thanks for all the pics and updates you do! My parents and my wife and I went up to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg this past spring. We ate at the Old Mill at night on a full moon. The food was incredible, and the view was gorgeous. The Old Mill complex is easily the best place in the two towns to eat. I even prefer it over Pancake Pantry. Of course, that's like debating who's best in a tie game... they're both great places to eat! Squid

He used to live in the area. I'm not sure if he still does; I haven't talked to him in some time. I also know he had to part with a bunch of the collection at one time. But I'll try and find out if he's still around for you. Squid
