No Limits Help
Shadowforce replied to Morcar's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
If you are one of those people that want all their games in a box, it is possible to buy it. I know that some german shops that have it. Ohhh, and I must warn you: NoLimits might look easy, but designing anything that will earn you a decent grade at any of the exchanges is EXTREMELY hard. -
Robb & Elissa's Europe Trip Schedule!
Shadowforce replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Best Boomerang ever? Is it really so good? I've never got myself to go to Tivioli Friheden, it's just too expansive for what it offers. Though I'd still love to ride that wacky flat ride Pegasus. -
Game: Rate the username above you

^ 9/10, I've allways wished I could come up with one of these good "sounding like a real LOTR name or something" names, but my imagination can't stretch that far. And bonus for the Hitchhiker's Guide avatar. -
And further on to serious proof rather than "My friend was told by his friend that..." speculation: SlashDot

Theme Park Review Shirts Are Coming!
Shadowforce replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Are these T-shirts or normal shirts? And what are you planning to charge for them? -

7/10 Numbers in usernames just bothers me. But uhm... Yay for SoCal? (I guess some of people will hate me for that. ) -
Robb & Elissa's Europe Trip Schedule!
Shadowforce replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yea, it was the correct PM. Sorry I couldn't offer any more help. It is important to note that even on a busy day, lines are virtually nonexistant. There can be quite the crowd in Tivoli if the weather is very good, even though the worst will have gone home come evening. I'd still like to know if it's a problem that some of my friend from Themeparkdenmark comes along. I don't know the exact number, but alot of them said that they'd really like to meet you. I guess you have fans everywhere? -

^ 7/10. I am inclined against using spaces or numbers in an username, but I agree in the message. Coasters for ever! -
That list could also be an "Which one doesn't fit here" guessing game. Easy: 1: The American Golden Eagle. 2: Cats, or feline creatures in general. 3: The Geoduck, o' course!

What system(s) do you have?
Shadowforce replied to Coasters 4 ever's topic in Random, Random, Random
I got an PC, an Gameboy color, and an PS2. With God of War released, and rumours of Ninja Gaiden coming out for PC and PS2, I won't need any more than that. -

Three hours from Bonbonland to Rodby-Puttgarden and on to Hansapark may be a tad optimistic, although it is possible. Perhaps Hansapark has some "arrive after 4 pm." tickets, I'd say it was worth it, the Scwartzkopf is sweet, and the wild mouse is just pretty damn fun. I don't know how you value riding stuff at parks, but if you're anything like me and want to try to ride everything decent-looking, Bonbonland could easily take up half a day. But there is only three, perhaps 4, "good" rides at the park. Ps: Did you receive my latest PM? It seems to be stuck in the "outbox" folder. -
Bellewaerde Park Discussion Thread
Shadowforce replied to Francois's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Looks awesome. Allmost like the tower has toppled over and is just laying around. Has anyone seen movie footage of this? It just came to mind that if it rotates something like 1½ rounds per swing, it would be one side allways up, and one side allways down.. We really need one of these in Denmark. -
24. of september. 3 months before christmas, 9 months after. One wonders...

Project Tumble Weed?
Shadowforce replied to benzo41190's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
How would you turn Shockwave into a 4D? :S Argh, I'm split between liking and hating the idea. On one hand, 4Ds seems like a great idea and I think we need more, on the other hand, I don't want to see any of the good companys being put out of business because SF is too incompitent to keep their rides in a good condition. -
What are you doing on a saturday evening?
Shadowforce replied to Hattuchili's topic in Random, Random, Random
The same as all other saturday evenings, Pinky, ATTEMPT TO CONQUER THE WORLD! Or, as some people would express it, nothing but stoning in front of my screen. God, I can't wait for my good computer to come back next week, then I might even start to do something productive. Anyone want to request an NL-recreation? -
The Coolest Guiness World Record Pics!
Shadowforce replied to Jose Eber's topic in Random, Random, Random
I hope the snake bites his tounge. What will you call that record? "Longest snake crawling the distance between nostril and mouth."? Maybe I should set a record! "Longest time staring at the Windows Media Player window waiting for Themeparkreview's Nara Dreamland movie to open on this old crappile of a computer" can't possibly have been taken? I won't comment on the milk thing. At all. It is nothing but a waste of perfectly good milk. -
Enter the Golden Kingdom
Shadowforce replied to GAcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Good-looking it may be, but will they care for it and make sure it doesn't look similar to Nara Dreamland in 10 years? That's my biggest worry, and I won't be there before 2010 with the way my luck is going... -
Loopy Landscapes (Which includes Added Attractions/Corkscrew Follies) is no longer produced seperatly, so that can be ruled out right now. My best suggestion is either using one of the D2D services that may have it, or buy it used from someone. Honestly, I'd go for RCT2 instead. It's better in alot of ways, and you can create your own content.

When I was at Bakken, recently, me and my mates from Themeparkdenmark where riding the Rodeo, where you go around on a "0" shaped course in small electrical cars. Anyway, I got tired of everyone following the "No Crashing" rule, and decided to have some fun. All except one of the riders where my friends, so they agreed to the idea. I am the most awful driver in the world, and I was soon crashing and smashing everything that got in my way. Good fun. Suddenly, the stranger got enough of our antics, and decided to ram into my side in a move resembling the PIT maneouvre from San Andreas. Suddenly, my car started spinning around, the joints squaking from the pressure on the wheel assemblies. When I came to a halt, my car was perfectly aligned with the track - but opposing all the other cars. When the ride ops saw this, they stopped the ride and got us out. We were all laughing so hard, even the ride ops, who said they've never seen anything like it before. The cars can barely handle the two turns as it is, and I spun it around 3 or 4 times or something. Didn't even get any trouble. Ahhh, great times.

Launched inverting wooden coaster! Ok, seriously, I know nothing about Holiday World, but it seems they are not too keen on going above the tree line. An Intamin Hyper Coaster would do that. But who knows? Intamin have proven with Kanonen that they can pack quite alot of 'oomph' into a very small area.

Soaked beta testers

God damn me for not having a good computer ready for the beta! Well, I guess I'll have to do with the 'leak' I found in the Soaked! 'tank'. -

New FireFox Extension ...better than Ad-block
Shadowforce replied to memphish's topic in Random, Random, Random
I just found a problem: It is not possible to remove Flash advertisments unless they are in an frame, because Firefox opens a Flash Player menu when you right-click on them. Do you know a workaround for this? -
New FireFox Extension ...better than Ad-block
Shadowforce replied to memphish's topic in Random, Random, Random
It might be a quite time-consuming process to remove all the ads from a site, but the bittersweet feeling of revenge against the advertisers that has tormented me for so long evens it out. Thanks you VERY much for the link! -
If you were a movie, what would you be rated?
Shadowforce replied to maliboomer's topic in Random, Random, Random
Hahahahahahh!!! 'Uptight old overly religious hags verbally assaulting every single movie remotely related to reality and/or recent humor trends and not their dream version of it - Making religious satirists obsolete since 1984'
