  1. In this kind of "Find the Best" threads, voting for your LEAST favorite usually works the best. Ohh, and Intamin got my vote. They show innovation in ride design, and their coasters doesn't get rough as hell over the years. Mostly, anyway.
  2. VERY offtopic: Uhhh... Are you by any chance the Milleniumguy that I knew at RCT Lodge? :S And what in all the world is Krygyzstan?
  3. You dare insult the might that is Asus? Joke aside, they make some of the best motherboards on the market. I had no idea they did cases too, but I guess that's what you get for not staying up-to-date.
  4. Maybe you should have blurred out the giant ASUS logo on the side...
  5. Considering the train weighs about as much as one of the restrain handles on the full-scale train, I would'nt expect it to behave like it was real... I am cooking up a NoLimits version of it, stay tuned in a couple of months!
  6. Walabi-Farup is in Germany most of the way, which is one of the best hotel countries. I am unsure of how good it is in Jutland, you should be able to find a decent motel, but I advise you to stick to the eastern part of the isle, as the "West Coast" (allways wanted to call it that ) is full of higher-end and exclusive hotels. Which by no means is any good, after my book anyway. However, if reservation doesn't cost anything, it won't hurt to reserve a room. Asking a bit around, I got directed to http://www.danhostel.dk/vandrerhjem.asp?lan=uk&id=15 a hostel 3 kilometers from Farup Sommerland, with prices ranging at about 85$ per night for a six person room, with own bath. This isn't by no means a luxary place, but it doesn't seem too shabby either.
  7. Lacoste and/or Hugo Boss. Effective and virtually without any kind of smell. Perfect. I also have an Adidas one... It's good for scaring away large predatory animals... Morale: Don't buy it!
  8. My current record is Dæmonen, who has currently taken me for over 60 rides in one season. With 4 visits total. And no "credit grinding". Beat that!
  9. I see coaster fanatics being just like car fanatics or plane fanatics, every single little boy (and far more girls than they'd ever admit ) have his fair share of interest in mechanics, the working on it and every single thing related too it. We just specialise in huge tracks of steel and wood powered by gravitional forces. My family was sad, maybe even ashamed, that I had a hobby like that once. It was never something they talked about, and only reluctantly gave me money every so often to go to amusement parks. Only recently I've showed them that I am not alone with this hobby, but that it might also help me correct my awful social life because i found someone that I can relate to and talk to. That helped. I reccomend it!
  10. As most other kids, I really loved going to parks, sometimes when i was out of school, my late uncle would take me and my sister to Tivoli 3 or 4 times a week! Oh, ye spoiled childhood. When i got my first computer with internet, and the RCT demo was bundled on a cd with it, i was hooked. But as I saw all the insane (remember, biggest thing I've rode back then was a side-friction!) rides in RCT, I ventured out on the internet to see if they could really be real. I never returned from there... And another hyped up addict fanboy was born! Horray!
  11. Ole is a real giver when it comes to software like this. However, seeing as he have had little to no influence on the development of this game, it won't be free, as i had half-expected when I saw the NoLimits name in the logo. Nope, but I'm not accustomed to receiving alot of bucks for hard work, and I'd never complain about working enviroment. If you just cover travelling fees, then...
  12. I'd be very happy if you could change my title to "The Dane" See, I keep it simple!
  13. It is created by some friends of Ole, who permitted them to use the trademarked name NoLimits, and whose software company, Mad Data, will be handling the distribution. It is described as a screensaver style application. It will not be free, not even to owners of the original NoLimits.
  14. It's not exactly from Göteborg to Klampenborg, where the two parks are situated, Helsingborg is a good bit south of Liseberg, though Helsingnør is very close to Bakken. Heh, I'd really like to meet you some day, but I'm afraid I got cameraphobia... Or something... Uhhh... *runs off*
  15. Yea... Uhm... Kinda... Hi there, I'm Shadowforce, pretty much new here and possibly the only person from Denmark on the boards... Most people here have a coaster count you could divide by ten and still have twice as much as me... Ouch...
  16. RCT1 was good, however, the amount of bugs and the random error traps ended up making me never really getting into it. RCT2 had the same bugs, however, it was customizable in the way you had begun to expect of major game releases when it came out. However, it took the communitys effort without a single bit of help from the developers to unlock these possibilites, and that has allways bothered me. RCT2 still stands as my favorite, however. RCT3... Well... When I first got the demo, later the game, I marveled at the level of detail, the possebilities, the effort that obiviously went into the making of it. I defended it fiercely when it was cut to shreds on the official boards. I still like it, however, it seemed to lose it's value slowly as i played along... presently, I haven't started the game for over 2 months (which also has something to do with my computer dying. )
  17. ^ I think they just used it as an excuse. Hercules weren't exactly a great coaster, right? :? When i saw the movie they released in the begining, this thing got me really excited. It looks insane, and very much out of the ordinary, for B&M atleast. However, something about it, and I admit i don't know what, puts me off. Maybe the color scheme? Maybe the weirdness? The world might never know.
  18. Easy for someone with only 22 in his coaster count: Ohh, and a warning for any future riders: It's far rougher than it looks. The first of the Eurofighters. AWESOME, but far too short.
  19. BonBonland is by no means a major park, it got alot of interesting and well-themed flat rides, and some... uhm... VERY PG-13 figures everywhere . The only major ride is Vildsvinet, the Gerstlauer Eurofighter, though Bæver Rafting is worth hitting too. The park shouldn't be awfully crowded, however, if you want to ride all the major rides, i suggest that you atleast budget 4 hours. About the ferry Fredericshavn-Oslo, as much as I don't know much about that specific trip, is traveled in the short-distance boats which usually means you will only get sleep if your comfortable with benches and chairs. If you can, you should take Tivoli after Bakken, it is awesome in the dark, with more light and color than any other park I've been too. From Liseberg, I think it would be a good bit faster taking the ferry Helsingborg-Helsingnør, which also lands closer to Bakken than the bridge. It would also be a good bit cheaper, as taking the bridge would force you trough a toll both on one of Sweedens motorways, total cost (with the bridge) being around 50 euros, according to http://tinyurl.com/55z8v Viamichelin, who reccomends this route instead: http://tinyurl.com/4ykkm. I hope this was helpful!
  20. How could it take me two days to see that I´ve double posted?!? =Please delete=
  21. My last coaster "should" have been a Pinfari Zyklon today, but with my injured leg and all, I decided that I`d rather keep it than get the credit. So it is: http://www.rcdb.com/ig2504.htm?picture=23 Daemonen
  22. Kanonen! I`ll hopefully be riding in the weekend after opening date, and I`m really looking forward too it!
