Wouldn't be the first time that happens on an inverted... Thinking of the Cobra accident a couple of years ago. -
Not so sure how big (or small) the scene of electronic dance music (EDM) is here on TPR but I thought I would share some of my mixes I've made on my two Pioneer CDJ-800's and DJM-400 I got here beside me. Olov @ Soundcloud You can check the genres on the blue boxes but they're mostly nu-disco, tech-house, deep house, techno, some chilling grooves and ambients. The tracklists are in the comments. Enjoy!

Well I'm no fan of hardstyle but the scene is getting bigger here in sweden. A major promotor here in sweden, Monday Bar, usually include hardstyle acts on their events and one of their cruises is a Black & White event which usually means the scenes are shared with music between trance, techno and hardstyle with international promotorors like Q-Dance and God's Kitchen. (For those who went to the scandinavia trips they take-over one of the bigger cruiseships that travel between sweden and finland, estonia and latvia) Went to one Black & White cruise a few years ago and that was a fun experience to say the least. The hangover was not. Took some vids with my cellphonetelephone: Not really my kind of music anymore though. You can check out the promoter and their events on their website... Monday Bar

So today is the day when the city planning will say ok or nay on this expansion plan. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an ok and we'll see this plan realized within 5 years From DN newspaper: www.dn.se/sthlm/beslut-fattas-om-grona-lunds-utbyggnad-1.969854 Google translation -

Those restraints aren't as immune against neck bashing as you may think. Got some nice karate strikes on my neck while riding Tornado, but then Tornado has some very intense turns and moves. I don't know what the turns on I305 will be like so it's difficult to say if those restraints will be great or not. Let's hope for the best. On Insane they couldn't have been any better but remember that it doesn't have any lateral forces. -

Well from what I can remember it was pretty much ejector airtime on every seat but one of the front cars had a little more than the others... -

That looked like a very cool water slide (that's what it really is IMO) Will be fun to ride it at some time. And I'm pretty sure the renderings will pop up here, on the HW website and everywhere else pretty soon. -

You should definitely do the park in 2 days because it is an amazing place to only visit in one day for a first time visit. -
But they also cost considerable more so it'll be up to a rich park owner to decide if it's money well spent.

Well the point of inverted tracks is because of the rolls which are the interesting parts giving a nice sensation of weightlessness. -

I'm sorry but there aren't enough details in the article and it's to early to conlcude this was a human error. Not every accident is a human error, so we'll see after the police investigation. -

First of all, nice pictures! Too bad the sun doesn't want to cooperate but the ride itself is visually stunning. Now I'm not gonna debate wether the ride is a fail or not since I haven't ridden it and can't say anything about that. The problem with making a big splash is that you need a large mass to be able to create a big splash comfortably. As you could see on the first test video the boat created a big splash but stopped very abruptly which is somewhat uncomfortable (if anyone want to know what it feels like, take a hard punch in the stomach). Hitting water at high speed is like hitting concrete, the higher the speed is the larger mass the boat needs to be. And bigger/heavier boats means bigger/stronger structure, which in turn mean a higher cost. Intamin designed a ride that breaks the height record using an elegant slim structure as they always try to incorporate into all of their rides. I can see Intamin designing a simular ride with bigger boats like they use on PP and Hydro but the tower would probably only feature a single lift instead of a double and perhaps be four legged or if only two, be significant bigger. You can't blame Intamin for not trying new ideas. And when trying new ideas you don't always have a success at first hand but you'll hopefully learn from the errors made and make a better second ride. That's what makes engineering fun, to make something better! -

Wow, that's crazy how fast it's hauling it's ass over all those hills. I would expect some major airtime pops all over the track. -
Just chilling and listening to John Daly's album Sea & Sky...

Since the opening I've been searching for some reports, photos and videoes of this ride but they have been scarce. What's up with that, danes? Here's the little I've found so far. Night time videoes: So from what I have seen there's not much of an lifthill, more like a freaking spinning launch and the rest of the track looks to be pretty intense for a spinning coaster with airtime giving the riders some ache on the shoulders from the OTSRs. I know the guys at themeparkdenmark.dk has been there but not a word written on what the ride is like on their site, I demand some clarification! Oh and Loefet, I read your post on coasterforce but I think I would like to hear from a coaster enthusiast what the roughness is like.

Another Intamin FAIL? That's actually just the picture screwing it up. It's more round than what the picture is showing. Look at the wavy support legs. -

More video reports: Aftonbladet.se SVT And as for the braking, don't think that'll change as the only brakes I could see were fixed magnetic so I guess what you see is what you get. But the drops looks nice. -

The first POV vid: Insane Hmm from the video I can say that the brakes are on too hard for my personal taste and doesn't really do alot of flipping. -

A new picture is up on rcdb which gives a nice comparison opportunity with the concept renderings. IRL It's going up in a nice pace so I'm begginning to feel pretty confident it'll be up and running in june (if the testing goes well). RCDB -

As with all new rides, they must have a construction blog Here's Tranan's blog (in swedish) where there will be updates on the state of construction and development. Construction blog
