Here's a new face to familiarize with, the new CEO of Gröna Lund. Magnus Widell He has previously worked as a CEO at Sailor's Hotell in Sandhamn. The former CEO Jan Roy will now fully focus on the job over the park chain 'Parks And Resorts'.

For me plättar is best with whipped cream and raspberry or "Queen" (raspberry & blueberry) jam. Or if I'm eating blinier I eat it with sour cream, red onion and roe. I think I saw meatballs in some shop in the southern part of Liseberg last year, didn't eat them though, only my own home made are good enough

Well Duane doesn't put up new coasters for nothing so something must have made him believe they're building some boomerang. If the park does add another coaster it does amaze me that one of the smaller amusements parks in nordic also have one of the most coasters in numbers, this will be the eight (even if almost all of them are family coasters) they're squeezing in.

Projekt Helix is just a working title so the name will be different when it opens. Wow, it's 1355m long and practically no dead moments. They aimed it not to be the tallest or fastest roller coaster but to be one of the best in the world and I think they might succeed. Here's a lengthy video where they interview the general manager, manufacturer, enthusiasts and more. It's mostly in swedish but some of it is in english.

Well it seems Liseberg isn't just going to build a nice little area for the kids but also something for us grown-ups as well. According to their facebook account they'll announce their biggest attraction investment named 'Projekt helix' on tuesday. So let the speculation begin! I think it'll be some kind of big ride ie a Giant Huss ride or if it's a roller coaster that would be for 2014 as I think it's a little late to start building roller coaster of a Balder size now. Edit: Apparently this is for 2014... sounds exciting.

Well Liseberg had a Rainbow... but that one crashed so perhaps those rides haven't endured so well with age. I put my vote on the Booster mainly because of an omg-I'm-gonna-die-experience at the Hamburger SommerDOM. But the breakdance, top spin/2, flic-flac, frisbee and Take-Off aren't far behind at all.

Yes if you had to choose I would recommend Liseberg over Gröna Lund (Gröna Lund is still great but Liseberg is even better)

Well there's no beyond 90 degrees drop from what I can see from the plans, so Oblivion will remain the steepest coaster in the park. But plenty of different weird looking cobra rolls and what not

The 2012 new attraction is Göteborgshjulet (The Gothenburg wheel). It's situated in the docks of Gothenburg but is now getting moved into the park, located on the same hill as where Atmosfear tower is located. A rendering of what it'll look like. If you do a little research, you find out that it is in fact the only B&M Invert with a dive loop. True but technically the entrance to the batwing element on Montu & Afterburn would be considered a dive loop wouldn't it? We've allready been through this on page 18...

Wondering if something changed on TPR's forum? In my firefox and IE browser the forum has two black bars on the sides and I have to scroll to the right to get the text centered every time I load another page. Kinda annoying. I'm using 1280x1024 screen resolution so people with higher resolution do not have the same problem I guess. Or could it just be a problem with my browser that I'm not aware of? (Other sites looks ok though)

Could be the brazilian slide Insano, which holds the height record for body slides, or at least it did when it opened. It's 41meters tall and you reach a speed of 105km/h before you slow down and splash into the pool. Beach Park
