Air Grover (because I'm a dirty credit whore), Cheetah Chase, Scorpion, Kumba, Montu & ShiekRa.... rode them all on Monday.

I don't usually do theme park Halloween stuff (I'm not one for blood & gore). But this Friday I'm going to a screening of Rocky Horror and next Saturday I'm going to a Halloween party at a local bar. Do those count?

I went to the fair that year. I went this year too. I didn't do any of the rides, but it was fun to walk the midway and take photos. I did see the pig races and the sea lion shows, which are always fun. This year I caught the Elvis impersonator competition, which was a riot. Some of them were really good. Others... not so much. Looking forward to next year's fair!

Festival Bay Mall is pretty much a big FAIL as malls go (too bad as it's HUGE and would be awesome if it was full of great shops). But the Vans Skate Park that's in there is pretty popular from what I saw when I was there in July, plus there's the big Bass Pro Shop, which is one of the most messed up stores EVER, which makes it awesome. And with the Prime/Premium Outlets right next door (and that outlet mall is HUGE), that area is just too cluttered with shops and restaurants to have an amusement park plopped down there too.

They say this park would be built on International Drive. WHERE on I-Drive? Unless you're talking about the end down by where the Orlando Premium Outlets are that has a lot of undeveloped land (or maybe golf courses)... going south (or is it west?) from Sea World. Yeah I could see that. But the rest of I-Drive is all hotels, shopping/restaurants & cheesy attractions.

Big Bird's Blood Bath? Elmo Loves You...To Death? Well, Elmo is already scary. Just having a maze with him sitting in it is enough to give me nightmares for a month.

I tried downloading this twice now and it keeps saying the file is corrupted. I've tried downloading it using Firefox and Safari for Windows (I despise IE). What am I doing wrong, if anything? I'm even doing the right-click "save as..." thing. The file refuses to play no matter what I use (Windows Media Player, iTunes, Quicktime...). I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. Help please?

Are those kangaroos or wallabys? Either way, they're ADORABLE! I'm planning a trip to Busch Gardens next month (I live like 30 minutes away). MUST. HUG. AUSSIE. CRITTERS! Thinking about doing that coaster tour as well since it's such a steal at $20. Oh And I love the tiger tummy shot! I love tigers.

The article doesn't say, but this guy says he rides Jackrabbit at least 20 times every time he visits Kennywood.

^^ Hehehehe!! You know, there is an alternative to a class action suit. There's a guy in Orlando who is a big Potter fan, but he was too big to ride. You know what he did? He put himself on a diet to lose weight so he can eventually fit and ride! I say MAJOR KUDOS to him instead of taking the "easy" way out (suing). I hope this guy accomplishes his goal too.

I saw The Village People after the Rays game on Friday. They were cheesy, but a lot of fun!

I really need to get my butt to Busch Gardens this year. Going to to try for sometime in September or October one weekend (and take advantage of my Club TPR discount). I need a SheikRa, Kumba & Montu fix bad!

Well, worst that can happen is you can try and if you can't then you know. When I was at Islands of Adventure on Saturday, I saw a big guy try out one of the test seats for Harry Potter. The employee had to struggle a bit to get the restraint to lock, but she eventually got it to without any discomfort from him and they allowed the guy to ride.

Hey you can dress up as The Stig for Halloween! Most random thing I've bought is probably a wind up baby chicken. It was left over from the Easter stuff, so it was only $1 after the markdowns. It's cute and I have it sitting on my desk at work. Sometimes I'll wind it up and set it off on my desk when I get bored.
