  1. So have any of you heard anything yet or have you asked for a list of winners? I would really like to see the winning coasters but I am still holding out hope that they are just running behind schedule and I will get that call soon.
  2. New Jersey Pennsylvania New York Connecticut Massachusetts Rhode Island Vermont New Hampshire Maine West Virginia Ohio Kentucky Indiana Virginia North carolina South Carolina Georgia Florida Illinois Texas Arizona California 22 down, 28 to go. I'd like to visit them all eventually.
  3. Allentown is far from a dangerous city. It is actually a pretty nice area if you ask me. You're fine to go to Dorney.
  4. ^I do like the detail on that one. Did anyone hear anything yesterday?
  5. Very nice trip report. Looks like you had a pretty good time aside from the great accommodations.
  6. Nice video. On the Official rules page it says that the judging will take place between June 16th and June 20th and then it goes on to say that the winners will be notified on June 18th...so I'm not sure when the winners will hear from them. Also, for those who do win and go to BGE, they have 3 hours to build a replica of Apollos Chariot. That is going to be very difficult, especially if they only let one person work on it instead of two. Should be interesting.
  7. Nice entries everyone! ^The video is not working for me. I have not yet heard if we won, but it was entered under my friends name and email, so he will be the first to hear if we do win. Hopefully all four of us will end up at BGE next month for the finals.
  8. Did anybody else here enter this. Winners should be notified soon. My friend and I decided to give it a go. It was a lot of fun but frustrating at times. Best of luck to those who did enter. Here's our coaster: Notice that part of the layout actually looks like a pretzel...pretty cool..right?
  9. Awesome updates so far! I love seeing everything that you guys are getting to do. Thanks for making all of us stuck at home extremely jealous of you.
  10. Yesterday I was at SFGadv. I rode Nitro and sat next to two teenage girls. While sitting on the brake run after the ride, one girl pointed over at Batman: The Ride and said "I don't even remember going upside down."
  11. I am proud to say that I had the opportunity to take the picture of Mike and Angel at the Bizarro Media Day Event. I would have liked to talk to you a bit Mike, but had to leave shortly after the event. Sorry about cutting your legs off in the picture, lol.
  12. Mine is a picture I took of the now defunct Batman and Robin: The Chiller in it's last season.
  13. Do you mean cerebral palsy? I heard people talking up at SFNE last week and the one kid was saying that when the park flooded they made Superman: ROS into a water ride and had it running.
  14. I will most likely apply to work at Clementon Park this summer. I do not know if I will end up working there, but it would be fun.
  15. I thought the same thing about it making a cool coaster. Krouvi - I did A LOT of biking in Israel a few month ago. absolutely amazing. The Negev is an incredible place to go take a ride. Golan ofcourse provides some great biking. I also rode through Tel Aviv. Beautiful place.
  16. Mammoth is AMAZING. Biked there once. The skiing is incredible though. Anybody else here unicycle?
  17. That is a very cool video. I love any kind of biking, but downhill is a lot of fun. This one is a lot cooler though. Mountain Unicycling. What this guy does is incredible. Trust me, it is hard enough just to ride a uncycle, let laone do what he does. The leg strength it takes is amazing.
  18. That was a great game last night! I had memphis winning it all in my league that for money, so I was freaking out when Kansas hit the three at the end of regulation. Ohwell. Congrats to space12.
  19. Sounds strange. I would contact Nikon Support. I'm sure you can find a number or email address on their website. Also check your manual if you still have it. It may say what to do in this situation. to be safe, I would transfer all of your images from your memory card to computer before you loose them. Maybe clearing out your memory card would help as well. Good luck.
  20. I'm a skiier. The rest of my family are boarders. My dad is a snowboard instructor, so I have been skiing almost every week during the winter for the past couple of years. I love it. I mostly enjoy downhill challenges over park skiing. I would take a gladed double diamond over a park anyday. I love a challange. My dad and brother are driving up to Mont Tremblant in Canada right now for a few days. Unfortunately, I had to pass on going due to class. Best mountain I've been to: Mammoth, California. Honorable Mentions: Whiteface, NY Gore, NY Killington, VT
  21. Here is a video that my odler brother and his friends made. It is reminiscent of the old vaudeville shorts, and is actually quite funny. The NY Times actually reviewed it. Here is their quote: "Is it possible for someone to be so lame that they can't even dance? This loveable vaudville throw-back reminds us that even the darkest tunnels have a spec of light. In a delightful array of poetic images, it playfully, yet eloquently reveals an age-old truth: Anyone Can Dance." - New York Times Let me know what you think about it, and feel free to rate it on youtube! Thanks. It is entitled "Anyone Can dance"
  22. I'm in. Good luck everybody.
  23. I have a few. The first two hills on El Tor, and the hill going over RT. All three have insane airtime. The triple down on Voyage. Awesome at night! Thunderhawk at DP has some nice surprise hills that give a lot of air on a good day.
  24. Admin Edit: Links removed. This doesn't sound like something that should be promoted on TPR. dt
