  1. The only other type of coaster like this that I have been on is Wicked Twister at CP. I liked V2 better, although I do remember Wicked Twister being a longer ride. Yes, the Buccaneer Battle was disturbing. They could pretty much eliminate all of the water cannons on the "shore" and let the boats face off against each other, and it might make for a tad bit more enjoyable ride.
  2. Ah, a fellow Yooper (albeit a transplanted one). Surely you understand the plight of the Yooper coaster enthusiast just as well as I do. Someone should build a park up here. Of course, the weather would only allow it to be open for a few weeks out of the year, but I think it would do well during those few weeks!
  3. I thought Viper was awesome, probably the best woodie I have been on yet. TONS of airtime!
  4. I know they're not around anymore, but how is RAGING WOLF BOBS not winning this contest?
  5. It looks like I should have waited one more year to visit KI. Did you happen to ride The Crypt? I'm wondering if they ever fixed it, because when we rode it last year it was really lame. No water or fire effects, no lights, no anything! Just spinning around in the dark for a few minutes! It seemed like it was a cool ride at one point.
  6. Is this the lighthouse? This is why I remembered seeing it, I took a picture of it!
  7. I remember seeing a lighthouse-ish thing still up in front of V2. I think it had Papa Murpy's pizza inside. Maybe?
  8. Yes to the first. And I wish I could forget about Rolling Thunder. I'd like to hear more about these and possibly see some pictures. Also, I've heard a lot of Deja Vu, and I'd be interested to find out where it was located in the park and what the deal was with it. anybody have any info to share?
  9. lucky you, i live 6 hours from any kind of coaster!! (6 hours from great america and about 7 from Michigan's Adventure). I hate my life.
  10. I will say that it is one of the cleanest and prettiest parks I've been to (with the exception of any disney park, of course). The crew members were very polite and helpful and I will definitely be going back again next year.
  11. i've been had!! oh well, up until now i thought the gold was a good deal. i did overhear some "regular" flash pass holders towards the end of the day saying that they weren't able to ride Raging Bull until an hour after our gold flash pass let us. but is it worth that much more?? hard to say i guess.
  12. Raptor in the front row is tough to beat. I don't know if it's the fact that you are out there dangling over the midway or what, but it is definitely my favorite, of the inverts I've been on.
  13. We had a great time, despite all the negative comments I posted! I just wish I could have kept my camera with me the whole day and gotten more pictures. I felt forced to leave it in the locker all day, but other than that it was a good time.
  14. With the Gold Flash Pass we never waited more than 10 minutes for a ride. We would reserve it, then be able to ride 2 or 3 minutes later. It was worth every penny.
