  1. I still dont understand why the train rotates in the turn before the lift and on the brake run. Seems kinda stupid to me almost like someone who was designing the ride wasnt paying attention. Oh well the full full looks great but if you look at the video can it really be counted as an inversion. It just seems like the people are just sideways when their in it.
  2. Ive seen many Elitch's Photo TR. I am so confused about the ferris wheel. Is the words on the ferris wheel a mistake because i just dont get it. Not to see????
  3. Also a tip use the single rider line at Deja Vu. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in that line and me and all my friends use it when we go.
  4. Thats kind of how it was for me on Saturday. It wasnt too bad but it could have been worse. I would be pretty pissed walking all over that park and standing in line and not being able to fit on the rides. Anyway sounds like just another trip to Magic mountain. I was wondering if X is still runnin a 1 train op.
  5. As long as it doesn't get neutered like Thriller did Im happy that the coaster has a new home
  6. I would like to see a trip report/ photo report. How was waterpark of america.
  7. For me its a tie between X-Scream and Insanity on top of the Stratosphere. How can anything else be any scarier.
  8. Hey all. Im planning a trip to Orlando to go to Wet n Wild, Universal Studios Florida, Islands Of Adventure, and Sea World Florida, with a side trip to Busch Gardens in June. I was wondering if any of the people here on the forum has taken the Busch Gardens Shuttle that they have going from International Drive and if they recommend it or just renting a car for the day. According to the website they have its free with the 5 park flex pass but it leaves from Busch Gardens at 6pm which is too early for me. What do yall recommend. Also which order should i visit the parks so i dont have a biased view towards them. Thanx.
  9. I was kinda worried to find that i was the only one who loved Dodonpa but thankfully im not alone. To me it kicks both TTD and KK, both which ive ridden, butt. The intensity of the launch just does it for me and yes being stapled by the ops was at first a dissappointment but after the hill i was thankful that they did. It was the single most intense coaster ive ever ridden and my favorite launch coaster.
  10. Yeah check out the forum topic of china construction there are pics of it in there http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22002
  11. something tells me there is going to be a half half after the turn and before the outside raven
  12. Originally I would say Giant Drop in Australia but now i have to go with Insanity in Las Vegas
  13. I have always liked to see some pics of some out of the way coasters like the big 150 ft looper in Korea, I think its called Fright coaster, and some coasters in China like the flyer that was supposed to be built.
  14. My all time favorite flat ride was the XK 1 at Knotts . It was the ride they took out to put in Supreme Scream. Now I would have to say Insanity. Scares the crap out of me but I love it.
  15. I got Islands of Adventure. Sweet
  16. I have been to both parks and ill agree CP has a better atmosphere overall than SFMM but if you look at just coasters SFMM has better coasters overall. Just list them side by side and see what you prefer. CP isnt a thrill park its more of a family park now. Just look at how many of their rides have inversions. Now look at SFMM its a thrill park. Nothing more.
  17. Well if you look at the big picture people jumped all over the rocket coasters and they have their share of problems as well. I love X and yeah it was a prototype and depending how they do on the one in Japan determines its future otherwise we will just have to see how that Unicoaster down in Orlando is going to do.
  18. I personally like choice 4 because of the blending of the colors. As for Homer's quote, "1. This logo is to attract people from the ghetto that surrounds the park with some "bling" effects." define ghetto for me and what bling has to do with anything concerning the ride.
  19. Luckly im in the LA basin. Every park here is under an hour drive. SFMM, USH, Knotts, Disneyland and DCA, Adventure City, all the water parks, even the places in the inland empre, castle park and pharoahs lost kingdom. I love LA
  20. I cant believe all of these great coasters being announced for next year. SWEET!!!!
  21. Im happy for SFOG they finally got their big coaster that they wanted. Personally I would have gone with an Expedition Ge Force clone but unfortunately I dont run Six Flags. Maybe with enough money I could though . Anyway Im pretty bummed about the placement of the ride. SFOG always had a nice entrace area with Georgia Scorcher off to the side. To me Goliath will clutter up the area and I really dont like how it just goes over Georgia Scorcher. Not really the lift but moreso the bunny hops at the end. I agree with everyone on the site about how the animation makes it look boring and I cant really comment until I ride it. But as far as animation goes look how Hydra's animation was in relation to the actual ride. All in all i cant wait to get down there to ride it but i want an Expedition Ge Force in the US.
  22. hey great trip report i was wondering though for anyone who has seen rush hour two have you passed by or even found the place where you can get a massage and pick out the woman who does it yet. just a quick question
  23. I was on the side where you can enter the ride from next to the lazy river. It has a bunch of switchbacks on that side. The other side is the side your talking about with the stairs.
