Either that or the exposure was off. Faded orange would not look red. If it has faded, it must have faded pretty quickly. It still looked pretty fresh to me last year at Springtime in the Park.

^In that case, may I point you to Waldameer's Facebook, updating progress on their new kiddie ride? Sure, it's a small ride, but it's something. Since everyone likes pictures, I might as well throw in a picture of the new Comet brakes: If these prove successful, who knows? Curved loading stations could be used to minimize the space future wooden coasters take up. Compared to the Comet, the Woodstock Express clones (having an otherwise identical layout) have a straight platform which needs more square footage.

^^I agree, but I think the color difference really helps Khan stand out. Especially from this angle, with its vertical loop dead center between the first two hills of Shambala. It does look diminished, but it still stands out a lot to me, especially with the new paint. Overall, I like the way these coasters look together.

Count me among those who like the way it looks now. Believe me, I like Stinger's color scheme, but a little variety doesn't hurt, and this aqua/red combo looks really good to me as well.

I'd be all for that idea. If they did it right, it could fit here (almost perfectly) behind Skloosh.

The Jack Rabbit always had a seat belt of some sort. The ones they had before replacing with the current ones were leather belt sort of restraints, if that makes sense.

Another difference...the track is not permanently fixed...makes you wonder if they'll finish the structure and then put the track on versus starting the track on erected structure before the whole hill is done. That is one steep lift!

I know if I were driving onto a bridge only to realize it was broken, I'd brake. Just saying. This ride's trains are themed as cars, after all.

Idlewild added one in 2008. It's slightly unique in that it's built into the hillside, but other than that it's basically your standard three-lane slide.

It also appears that the car goes up a slight hill right before the drop as well. Trims take time to break in...Sky Rocket's trims slowed the train down much more during initial testing than it does now. I'm sure it's the same case here.

That is part of the theming. On topic, I MUST get a passport before next summer.
