Nürburgring launched coaster
Moose replied to thomas2's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Is the (second) fastest coaster in the world really all that "family-friendly"? -
Agreed our nighttime no-wait rerides last year were epic. Emily's (who is > than Piers) giggling only added to the awesomeness.

IAAPA 2010 Trade Show Orlando Coverage! Photo & Video Update

Thanks for the great video updates. It is always interesting to hear what the Industry Leaders have to say, rather than speculation. I still think GCI Chris is cute -
Wow, the haunt looks absolutely amazing now!

^Everyone knows they signed a three fire contract, so of course they had to have a third fire. -

Iamb glad you bumped this since I somehow missed this update. Great update from an absolutely miserably hot day. The park seemed like a nice place but with it as unbearably hot as it was, we just layed in the AC'd theater for quite a while. Looking back at the pics, I am reminded what an absolutely great group of people were on the MidAmerica trip! I want to go back! -
As Tom Selleck as my witness, I still know that that is not Larry there in Wisconsin. Ever since Piers told me about this trip to Wisconsin, I wish I could head to the cheese state with you guys again, the MidAmerica trip there certainly wet my appetite for cheese-heads.

I love it too! Martha Plimpton is amazing in it. I love me some Goonies.

I'm actually a bit surprised by the inclusion of Lego Batman. I love the game and I love Batman so I tried to buy some Lego Batman stuff at the Mall of America and Legoland Deutschland, but to no avail. I was told that they discontinued the line. This looks like a pretty good line-up for the park, but no water ride besides the AQUAZONE® Wave Racers, that seems odd. -
Fabbri Spinning mouse and sheesh
Moose replied to velluli's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The thing i love about spinning coaster is the spinning. Shocking isn't it? The few reverchons I've been on don't seem to be very good at spinning. I have only been on one Fabbri (the one at Botton's). For the most part I loved it, but there was one point towards the end where everyone seemed to be slamming their necks. I don't think it was a braking issue either. I'm sorry I can't be more specific. -
Post What Halloween Event You've Been To!

I went to Spooky World in NH for the first time this year. I was shocked at how good the mazes were. There were a ton of great effects and plenty of scares. I would avoid the minigolf at the place. It has to be one of the worst designed courses I've ever seen. I may head to The Factory of Terror or Asylum of Terror over the weekend. -

Math is wrong. 2-3 weeks before Oct 9th would still put it a month after we were there. Don't get the wrong impression. We could have easily broken the rope swing with how we were using it, but it was still fully functioning after we left. I can not say the same for the poor soles amongst us who were dumb enough to get on it. -
It looks like it was quite chilly. I am surprised all of the water rides were open.

I loved both of the Zac-Spins I have ridden, both with and without balanced weights. That being said, this has the potential to be a capacity nightmare. I think the crotch smashing comments are an overexaggeration, an extension of the fact that many guys overexaggerate what they have that could be smashed.

^ I was looking forward to you injuring yourself at the park. -
Even though I grew up in the 80's I don't think I have tried any of these cereals.

Yupp, it hurt quite a bit but not nearly as bad as the serious friction burn i got on my wrist that took off so much skin i was bleeding. eek. Great little park! Shane and I rode the rapids, they weren't that great. Don't worry if you missed them. And as far as Olympia Looping someone asked one of the seemingly dozens of ride ops and he said that they WILL be back next year. I loved the ride, it has aged so well and they run it amazingly. My nighttime rides in the rain were astoundingly good! I haven't said it enough, THankyou for continually putting on amazing trips!
