  1. 'Funner' is the worst thing to happen in the last 10 years, it is NOT a real word and I can't believe how much it is used nowadays!!!! I concur! Funner is the worst fake word ever just because its so widely used!
  2. Can you only vote once? You're only like 2 percent behind, and we can probably bring you up, especially if you can vote more than once!
  3. 1Voted! Good luck Daniel, you are very talented and have a great voice!
  4. I really like the new area, but I suggest raising the boarders around the fountain so the waters not sitting on the very top... it just looks more real that way.
  5. ^ DCA paradise park? That area looks a lot like it!
  6. ^^ LMAO!
  7. ^ Cant you go see it on your own? Also I am 19 and go to kids movies sometimes. For example Princess and the Frog was one of my favorite movies last year. Your dads mean.
  8. Elissa asked him how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. He replied...
  9. I made this post almost five years ago and stand by it with a couple of additions: Cinnamon Bread at Dollywood Fresh Fried Clams at Canobie Lake Grilled Corn at SFFT and Sea World Texas Fried Cheese on a Stick at Knoebels Does Knotts still sell soup in a sourdough bowl? I have never seen a sourdough soup bowl at Knotts. I thought that was more of a disneyland thing.
  10. Disney Land Resort Food I LOVE: Turkey leg(near thunder mountain) Clam chowder+breadbowl(port orleans maybe? I actually dont know the name, but its next to the pirates que) Dole Whip(right by the Enchanted Tiki Room) Gibson Girl's Ice Cream(on main street) DCA FOOD Schmoozies Make Mine Mocha shake (located in the hollywood section) The gone but not forgotten Aviator Chicken Sandwich(Taste pilots grill) Knotts Chicken Dinner is great! Mooseburger was awesome at WCB, but that may not be their regular menu!
  11. The Contemporary Resort: Bay Lake Tower! This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. We went about a year ago when it was brand new. The rooms were HUGE and comfortable. The pool was awesome and the waterslide was relatively fun. It was only a monorail ride from Ohana, which is a HUGE plus. However, this hotel was probably CRAZY expensive, but awesome for the night we stayed. The rest of our time was at Jambo House at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I really want to stay at the Polynesian, though. The theming and landscaping was awesome when we ate at Ohana and I love that kind of atmosphere. And Dollwhip RULES!
  12. Its a written TR. No pictures cause I always forget my camera and my phone takes low quality pictures. It was posted fairly recently though!
  13. ^ I hope not... I just posted a TR. Does anyone know how big the Jurassic park overflow que is? I have heard rumors that that area will be a new house location next year, which is good seeing as it seemed there was room for another house somewhere.
  14. How does the spider/ insect scarezone work? Were there just people randomly dressed as insects or something like that? Knotts haunt has attempted an insect theme for years and for me at least(and I am not a fan of bugs) has never worked at all. Bugs are weird looking and can swarm and crawl on you, but it is impossible to capture that feeling IMO, or at least Knotts has failed in past. If it is a workable theme it would be awesome!
  15. I attended HHN Hollywood on Friday for first time ever. I had a totally amazing time. Also just as a general rule my reviews will differ from many peoples opinions as all of the houses were new to me seeing as this was the first time I have been to USH in about 8 years. I have no reason to comment about the houses being the same or anything like that. Nightmare on Elm Street was the only house we missed due to time constraints, and had my friends not wanted to hit Simpson's and Jurassic park we would have had time, so as a general rule try to avoid rides if you have ridden them as it is possible to visit every house if done right. Also I will post all spoilers in forms of quotes, but there are parts I just need to mention because it was so awesome. We entered the park at about 7:20 or 7:30 after waiting in a fairly long security line, however it moved fairly quickly. We first entered into Nightmarez, which I do not consider a real scare zone. There was a Freddy Krueger on the fountain that was cool and startled a few people and there were go go dancers... that was about it. We then walked through Clownz for the first time of the night... These guys delivered. They were crazy, energetic, and terrifying. I found out via Horror Nights twitter that Corpses would open later in the evening due to the Eyegore Awards, and this was helpful information as that was the maze we planned to hit first. I recommend hitting Jason first on your way to Corpses. Friday the 13th: Kill Jason Kill 10/10 This house is very well done and captured a lot of the intensity of the new movie VERY well. There were some awesome tricks played and some very original scares that were not even used in the film. Jason is everywhere and is ready to stalk and scare... and he is damn scary. WE then went on the simpson's ride, which had a 15 minute wait. Then we went on the Terror Tram: Chuckys revenge. The video was great and clever and was funny. The walk through itself ranged from awesome to strange. 7/10 Then we went and did Jurassic Park which was fun, but it seems they should do a little more as some areas seem like a good place to scare. Saw was semi disappointing. 7/10 It was a cool house, but the water was annoying as they used too much and the smells were kind of a bit much. Also there were some scare that could be missed rather easily, and we got stuck in this one. The cast here really tried though. The sets were all very deatailed, but I never felt like I was a victim. I wanted it to feel like I was more part of Jigsaws game than just walking through it, but the effects were pretty awesome such as the cold room with the frozen chick. Supposedly similar to last year... I don't know. I am a huge SAW fan and while I did feel it was a good haunted house I just didn't feel like I was in Jigsaws's crazy psychologically warped puzzles. Bill and Ted was very entertaining and much better than the hanging... and there were seats. Yay! 9/10 fun show. Finally we waited 60 minutes for the incredible HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES: IN ZOMBIEVISION 3D 11/10 The scariest among the scary and the best of the best at HHN! WE ended the night with a 5 minute wait for Vampyre. 7/10 No spoiler here. They essentially amped up house of horrors as they do every year. This house was full of vamps, and although they essentially did nothing to the facade scares were abundant and fun. There were so many vampires that this maze is actually IMO as good as saw this year. Tons of fun and tons of scares! Had this maze had better theming inside despite being the HOH it would be an 8, but theming and props brought this one down... especially the Chucky's toyshop part, but not really universals fault as there is not too much that can be done here. Scare zone ranking from best to worst (not including nightmarez!) 1.Clownz 2.Lunaticz 3.Freakz 4. La Lorena 5. Freakz Also as an ending note chainsaw chase out was an awesome way to end the event! Great idea universal as it is such an intense ending to an already intense night. Already cant wait for next year!
  16. I like the new look of Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co. It used to be a bit too colorful, but I like how it looks now despite not being a major change at all... that is my least favorite Ice Cream place at DLR... Burrrbank is much better IMO!
  17. ^ I think I almost like it more than Blizzard beach! Damn, that mountain thing is VERY highly detailed and looks totally awesome IMO!
  18. I was there last night looking for you guys just to say hey, but no such luck. We did not have front of the line passes, but we got (almost) everything done, and in theory we could have gotten everything done. My friends for some reason really wanted to ride Simpsons and Jurassic park, both of which had ten minute waits, so had we skipped those maybe we could have done everything. We only missed Elm Street, but we did every other maze, the terror tram, and saw bill and Ted. The key is getting there early and heading where the GP is not. Friday the 13th had a ten minute wait, terror tram was about 7 minutes and saw was about thirty minutes. In fact the only REALLY long wait was corpses, and the main reason for that was because it opened late for the eyegore awards. Anyway, TR is going up now! YAY!
  19. ^ Intimidator 305 is themed? Anyway my favorite themed anything is Matterhorn Bobsledes Tomorrowlan d side or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, both found at the happiest place on earth!
  20. OMG! That was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny. You owe me a new keyboard, lol!
  21. I'll try to check this out for sure. I am going to HHN VERY early this year(this friday), so towards Halloween I would REALLY like to experience some semi local haunts. This one and sinister point are on the top of the list, but Open Grave seems more likely considering that Anaheim is like 20 minutes away while Brea is like 40 or something. I have heard good things, so this sounds very likely! Have an awesome season of scaring, Brent!
  22. ^ Battle Star Galactica" The ride at Universal Studios Singapore!
  23. I agree wholeheartedly!
  24. Lol, just 194 days left... wow, B&M better finish on time. Gardaland has a timer on their site til this thing opens. Hmm...would there still be a timer like that if this were an intamin coaster? That is quite the testament to B&M as thats a lot of faith in timing!
