What Restaurants Do You Eat At?
the ghost replied to RCBoilermaker14's topic in Random, Random, Random
Hmmm... I like to make people jealous so... I have a Five Guys and an In N Out in the same shopping center 10 to 15 minutes from my house... My favorite restaurant of all time is one I have only been to once and is at one of my favorite places in the world. It is called Ohana and is located at the Polynesian Hotel at Walt Disney World. The atmosphere is amazing, the family style dining and everything like that are awesome and the food is great... I could eat there every day! There is also a cool restaurant in Long Beach California called DiPiazza's. It's a fun place because the pizza is pretty good and everything, but there are often local bands playing on a very small stage and I have been to some fun shows there. I recently attended Skapril Fools Day(a ska show) and got some pizza, a drink and ate. Afterwards I danced my ass off... tons of fun! -

Awesome TR... I was one of the people who initially believed this park would not do particularly well because of the location, but I am happy to be wrong on that account. Also the bees reference is from one of the best(in a bad way) movies ever... THE WICKERMAN(Nicolas Cage version... cause the original is awesome) -
I think it's Wrigley's... but it's mint chip! Delicious!

I love the Pixelated Figment pin! Also when I go to the parks next time I have to check out the Phineas and Ferb thing... I agree with Elissa(except that I am a huge fan) that this is a great move because the show is CRAZY popular. The 20 with a Perry the Platypus Shirt Ghost -

Also there is nothing to hold up your awning. Really any fence or piece like that will do the job... but I agree... take your time. I have been working on my first project RCT3 project for about a month and it's still not ready to post. -

They even have better commercials than we have!?!? Seriously though... I hope that kind of commercial comes to the US... it probably won't because that animation style is not as prevalent here, but that was a great commercial and one I feel a lot of people can connect with. -
I like the idea of believing in Ghosts more than I actually believe in Ghosts. As a die hard horror movie/horror pretty much everything fan I will never truly dismiss the idea because part of the fun is that I don't completely dismiss the idea so it's more believable a bit, but if someone were to ask yes or no then I would say probably not. But I believe in myself...

#1. I broke my arm in first grade falling off the monkey bars. There was some plastic padding underneath that was SO F##### hot and burned me as well as broke my arm. It sucked... and it was worse cause had I broken my right arm the teachers would have written stuff for me but I broke the left arm. #2: Not a break but a kind of brutal thing that happened to me. In late 2011(recently) I was at a pop punk/hardcore show and a band called Titlefight took the stage. The audience had been "tired" for the other openers(Four Year Strong was headlining) and I figured they would be the same for this band. Suddendly the lead singer said F### SHI# UP and went into their first song and the previously tired audience went INSANE! Some guy managed to get past security, jump on stage, and stage dive right onto me. That is all well and good, but the bottom of his shoe went across my scalp making me bleed from the head. It didn't hurt horribly so I decided to stay for the headliner but I got "woozy" pretty quick and a friend drove me home. I touched my scalp and it was WAY WORSE than I though... the only reason I was not heavily bleeding was because my hair "soaked up" the blood.

I'm STARVING right now but I don't want to eat cause its 5:30 am. We'll see though... for some reason I thought I was tired but I've been sitting in bed for 3ish hours listening to podcasts.

I can't decide if I like Portalndia! Parts of it are amazing but I just don't know if I... get it.

It looks(to me) like RSR might actually have some airtime! Very cool! Personally this one reminds me much more of a coaster than something like test track or Journey! VERY excited to see what they are doing. As of now opening date is the 15th... so if there aren't AP previews... heck... maybe if I have already been on this the current plan is to get to the park Monday, June 18th at about 6am and wait outside DCA! Very excited for this. I don't think I have seen the arrival of a true(original) E-ticket... I mean, besides the ones that opened at DCA in 2001... but that was before I was a theme park geek!

Grizzly... Roaring to Ghost Gardens soon. Grizzly is in the "family" land of the park which will be known as Fun Forest. Ghost Garden's is my first park and is 100% NCSO! "Art shot" Layout for the coaster. It is a family coaster designed by the Gravity Group. Station -
It will never ever happen. Frankly I don't really see the point of the this thread because Disney is not promoting Promethius in the parks. They learned their lesson, because despite the fact that from a technical and psychological aspect it was amazing that an attraction could cause that much fear it is just not Disney and they won't go back down that path again. It is the same reason why (Stateside) you will never see a "haunted" halloween attraction at Disney. It just does not fit into their demographic. Tower of Terror is not at all a comparison because it is "eerie" as you said, but you are not benig stalked by a man eating alien. Furthermore Disney has(in the past) said that Magic Kingdom is their family park... that has always been known... so it will never come back. You also said Hollywood studios is a more teen based park and brought up tower of terror, but from what I have read(I never went on Alien Encounter) it was one of the the scariest rides ever. Tower of terror is a drop ride with awesome effects... very different.

SoCal Summer Trip Help
the ghost replied to DBru's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Everyone else has given you far more detailed info than I could, but I would HIGHLY encourage you to travel out the 19th through the 28th because Carsland is opening the 15th... so anyway here is a bit of advice for DCA. Get there VERY VERY early... like VERY VERY! I am going the Monday before(the 18th) and plan on getting to the park sometime around 6am. This is(as you know) the biggest expansion to any Disney park(besides Fantasyland in a very long time... and Disney fans will go insane for the new ride. Get there early and either get a fastpass(I am assuming the attraction will have them) or get there first... but that line will be absolutely unbearable later in the day. You should be able to get on SCreamin relatively easily since that line flies, but bear in mind that it closes for the first show of WOC and will not reopen. -
All right... I didn't want to post this here because at the moment it was pure rumor, but now that this article is out I guess I will. At WCB relatively early in the day(straight after morning ert) Apocalypse broke down and the ride ops were talking to people waiting in the station about random things. I don't remember the context, but the ride operator did mention a launch coaster that would utilize terrain, but he said the project was "on the drawing board" but that it was going to be built for sure... they were just working out specifics about the layout and things like that. This is cool though... also(if what he said turns out to be true) the ride will use Metro's tunnel and will be more than a mile... so if this coaster is a blitz it will be the longest one... based on what I overheard in the station.
