Most Overrated coaster?
coastermaniac123 replied to BlackWidow's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Ka gets my vote, I was so ready for it to be awesome, but it did nothing at all! I don't know why people bash S:ROS, it hardly gets any hype, people put MF and Expedition Geforce above. If anything, it is a gem in the rough. I find many people being surprised in how good it is. -

I went to that exact Pizza Hut on Opening Day. Down the road is a Carrabas as well! How was Cyclone running, I don't know why everyone dislikes this ride. I also get some insane ejector throughout the whole ride. I guess it pays to be very thin. Quick question, tThey let anyone ride Rolling Thunder or Road Runner Express (whatever they call it now)? -

Nice work on the trains. Quick Question and I understand if you are unable to answer. Has there been any recent contact between GCI and Canobie Lake Park concerning a new coaster? I don't want any details, but a simple yes would get me very excited. -

Really, Medusa must have been running bad that day, she probably had her period. -

^ I actually enjoy B:TDK more than Medusa. Sure Medusa has it's length, but when I went on it, I didn't find it that much smoother. The train was vibrating like crazy when I went last August. B:TDK is much more forceful in the backrow, I don't know why, but I never get head banging. I found B:TDK smoother than last year, but it did vibrate like crazy in the corkscrews. -

Yea I saw you at the park as well. When you were pointing to Cartel on the sign I was there. When you went on combo mode on Scream my friend and I were on as well. Basically, when you had your two rides on Scream towards the end, when had our two rides as well. My friend had the white sweatshirt and I had a red polar fleece over my red Boston sweatshirt. -
Since there wasn't a major ride or coaster debuted this year I would expect it not to be crowded. The rides will be operating in the 50's. It really isn't that cold. As Canobie Fan said, it can be crowded beyond belief, like the year Mr. Six opened or it can be calm and empty like last year. I would have expected it to be more crowded last year, but the weather turned people off. According to NOAA it will be... Saturday: Partly cloudy, with a high near 54. North wind between 9 and 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Saturday Night: A slight chance of rain and snow showers after 3am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 33. North wind between 6 and 9 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%. But it is very random. I will be there for a while tommorow with my friend. Don't listen to people about the weather being bad, right now it looks to be great.

Well you definitely must hit Raging Bull and Viper. Both are amazing. Then I would say hit Deja-Vu before it breaks down and Supermans: Ultimate Flight. Nothing is great about those two but the line can build and that just sucks. Then you can hit up Vertical Velocity, American Eagle, Whizzer, Demon, Batman: The Ride, and Rajin' Cajun. You shouldn't have to long of a line except the fact that Deja-Vu, Superman: Ultimate Flight, and sometimes Vertical Velocity can stack up. Raging Bull uses two to three trains so the line should move very quickly. Hope that helps you!

I went on the Magic last year and all of the employees kept hinting about the possibility of new ships to the cruise line. It was a lot of fun, however when are they going to build a water park or a park on Castaway Cay. That is a great place IMO for a water park at least, theme it to the tropical Bahamas.

Theme Park hauntings and ghosts
coastermaniac123 replied to AllisonY2K's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My friend has told that it is rumored that Universal Studios in Florida has a ghost haunting Revenge of the Mummy. He said that when the ride was King Kong an attendant died. Now he haunts Revenge of the Mummy and people have claimed to see his ghost during the launch sequence of the ride. Some workers also claim to see his ghost wandering the ride when it is not operating. The ghost is also rumored to be responsible for some of the rides breakdowns. I say is Priemer and their unrealiable rides, but who am I to say this. I am not sure if this is the exact story, but I was definetly told this. Can anyone confirm or correct my story. Plus, I wonder if S:ROS has so many breakdowns due to the death of a person on the ride. Naw, it's just Intamin. -
As everyone has stated, the Animal Kingdom Lodge is to far away. As much as I loved it (so would your 5 year old brother), but the place is crawling with little kids. It is great for the family, is has Buma (is that right), which is an excellent buffet, and had a cool little pool. I loved how it had animals right outside your balcony, however the kids were annoying when I wanted to kick back and relax. Beach Club is probably your best bet. It has something everyone in your family would enjoy and I have a feeling your little brother would love thier water slide. From what I hear, Wilderness Lodge is very nice as well. I really do not know much about this particular resort. I have always wanted to stay at Boardwalk and looks like a fun place, but I am not sure how your little brother would like it. Swan and Dolphin are nice choices and have some excellent resturants, has a nice pool, and great location to Epcot. It is also not to far from the other parks. What I liked about this hotel is that you could see Illuminations depending on where room was. Whatever you do, don't stay at the Grand Floridian. I did not like it and it was very pricey, too pricey in my opinion.
