  1. Posted by Rocky Mountain Construction on Facebook. I have complete trust RMC knows what they're doing, but that profile shot sure makes the structure look rickety!
  2. Just blue for now. But at this pace, I could see green coming up by next week.
  3. Holy funky-shaping, Batman! Cannibal's immelman thing is up, and what a steep pullout! Credit to "SuperDude123" at lagoonisfun.
  4. Are people here seriously complaining about the size of the first drop?! No wonder Californian enthusiasts have a bad name, you idiots embarrass me! Each of those drops will have more airtime than anything us Californians have, yet you all still complain! Anybody here who hasn't been on coasters outside of California will surely have a new favorite coaster next year. That drop is already looking super steep! I can't wait to see them both fleshed out and to see more of the layout get constructed! I haven't been this excited for something in California since Tatsu construction when I was 12... I'm hoping to get 14 new credits between now and May to make this my 300th
  5. ^ You think people would have ever guessed Spin Turn at Nasu Highland, a random Meisho spinning Jet coaster without a hint?? haha EDIT: I'm so sure that's the right guess, I'm just going to go ahead and post mine.
  6. Saddest post I've ever read! You poor soul...
  7. Intamin - Intimidator 305 / El Toro (#1 in both steel and wood) B&M - Goliath (SFOG)
  8. haha. I find that hard to believe.
  9. Hey guys! How do you expect crowds to be on Monday, Dec 15? I wouldn't expect schools to be out yet, so maybe low to moderate? What do you think?
  10. That drop looks incredible! Completely insane! I said this last time, I just hope this coaster is designed smooth! We don't have the vast experience in building to expect greatness here, but I am willing to leave my reservations, I want this thing to be awesome.
  11. It's been a long time since I've updated this! I have now ridden 9 custom Inverts and 3 Batman. 1) Fire Dragon 2) Montu 3) Alpengeist 4) Raptor 5) Afterburn Ice Dragon falls next, but it doesn't feel like a complete layout. Shoutout to Flight Deck @ CGA as well which suffers from the same problem!
  12. At the backstage tour, Bonnie confirmed that soon the whole area from the theatre down the hill will be closed for construction and remodeling into "Screampunk District." It was confirmed that Ben and Jerrys will become a sandwich shop and more importantly SCREAM WILL GET REPAINTED (and possibly themed more properly?)! I can't wait!
  13. Did they mention when the first drops are being completed?
  14. Dragon - Legoland Florida. This was the last coaster on our 40-coaster Florida scramble this summer! Seven Dwarfs and Gingotts were also great! I can't wait to go back there!
  15. Thanks for the update! I will surely ride this during a trip to Knott's once this opens. I look forward to seeing vertical construction.
  16. I took the words "not final, concept" to describe the plants and theming in that overhead drawing, not the layout or train design. I feel like those would be a bit more finalized, but who knows??
  17. I would guess (with some confidence) that by 2017 we will see a launched RMC wooden topper track coaster. My top three guesses for some new RMCs? Alton Towers, Dollywood, or BGW!
  18. ^ If this thing is smooth, it will be amazing! I heard there's no OTSRs, right? I'm still in disbelief that Lagoon is even getting a coaster like this! I will be sure to go check it out. Does anyone know of this is planned to open on opening day for the park in late March?
  19. EDIT: I think the person who posted that must believe the Iron Reef Poster. Did you even read his post? You're not funny, dude. He literally said he was "highly skeptical."
  20. I actually think the ride will have 18 moments of airtime outside of the prelift, 9 per cycle. 1) first drop 2) bunny hill 3) entering first turn around 4) high five 5) exiting turn around (Only green) double down 6) airtime hills under inverting track 7&8) two per double up (Only blue) side ways airtime hill before green lift. I may be stretching it, but that's what I saw!
  21. Ehh... no. Although it looks long and has a very complete layout, I don't think it's even over 6000'.
  22. Oh man this looks good! There's airtime, cool inversions, so many unique elements, like a huge El Loco, but with more airtime! I wonder if Alan Schilke is designing this layout, it looks very similar to things he designs. 2017 sounds like the next time I need to visit Orlando!
  23. I really like that, I'm sure that airtime hill will deliver! And with a zero-g roll or in line twist of something completely unique for Dive coasters, this one should be the best out of all the smaller ones! It's funny that they still haven't announced the name of the coaster that's clearly being built. I hope the drop tunnel is themed nicely!
  24. I agree with this SO much! Add refurbing some buildings and I would have a SFMM that I would love to visit often.
  25. That's my lesser favorite Dragon, the Hungarian Horntail! But I am too busy today so somebody take my turn please!
