  1. Henry. How the hell do you know anything about this project? Definitely echoing chickenbowl in bitter that the crazy airtime hill is gone. Slightly rude. No, I was not echoing, I would prefer the term, agreeing. While I do not know any more about this project, I looked at the bottom of the loop, and it very similar shape to one you would expect from a B and M, rather than the ones on the large Mack coasters or Premier's YOLOcoaster loop. I am also not bitter, as I will never go to this park in my life, so don't mind, however I find this project very interesting. As someone else said, it could just be the angle... He's just saying that your interpolation of the size of the loop is probably very inaccurate. Also the second line is about himself, not you
  2. The loop grows. I'm just still bitter that I'll never get to experience that apparently insane ejector airtime the tophat had... Airtime >>> a giant loop
  3. ^ Great news! Thanks for the update A few weeks ago people would've predicted Colossos to be open and Wildfire closed for 2017, not the other way around!
  4. Maybe you're not stupid, maybe you just have bad luck when you think. And you make fun of people on the internet to feel good about yourself. It's okay we all have our quirks. You ARE making BS claims about things you absolutely don't know.
  5. Yeah, couldn't agree more! RMC drops are great, but don't hold a flame to amazing Japanese Jet Coasters
  6. That pink is AWESOME! I can't wait to see a layout!
  7. This next element is essentially a HUGE semi-outward-banked hill. Think this: but taken to the size of Mean Streak's second elevated turn!
  8. Nah, dude. Orochi still operates in France as Monster.
  9. I think Robb and co. are at Ferrari World - If they see this I'd love to hear any reviews of Flying Aces!!
  10. What year is it, 2003? Knott's has proven that they can fit in a ride wherever they want.
  11. White Lightnin' has 6 cars, Invadr has 8 That I did not know. It still looks shorter, is 8 cars the standard for GCI? Standard is 12 cars... So yeah it's a pretty tiny train, but it's also a tiny coaster. Hopefully the short layout means shorter ride time and increased capacity
  12. ^ I was referring to his proposal of a back-to-basics/Cedar Fair system (normal wristbands with hole punch/sharpie/etc.?), not the current iteration.
  13. I didn't see that this was posted, but testing has started:
  14. The same way they're keeping track of it now with plastic wristbands... That's the thing, they have no limit in place other than only two rides allowed on LR Link I agree with everything you've said on this issue. It's practical, cheap, and easy - "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" Also, I'm glad you got on LR (and loved it!), great review!
  15. The fact that recently Cedar Fair hasn't been installing more than two coasters a year, chainwide, I have some doubts it'll be so soon. Then again, the whole chain barely got anything this year outside of Mystic Timbers.
  16. How many pages do you have saved so if a prediction comes true you can call it out? I just searched the thread for "remove boomerang" and went to the last pages!
  17. Finally! I've been wishing for this to happen since 2012. Now that Riptide is gone (and Wipeout was relocated), there's a decent chunk of open space in this area - Here's hoping for a decent coaster to fill that spot! Now that Cedar Fair is working with RMC, the possibilities are endless!
  18. Ace Southeast posted that both trains are running
  19. ^ Super awesome to read! Thanks for posting
  20. I see SFNE's keeping strong in the turd polishing game
  21. For future reference, some roller coaster enthusiasts that browse and post on this site have varying forms of Autism/Aspergers/etc. This developmental disorder can often be characterized by difficulty in social interactions (including forum posts). These people have the right to post on a forum without being made fun of and demeaned by people like you. This is just a suggestion - I'm not trying to moderate, I'm just encouraging positivity... Maybe a cop like yourself can practice empathy a little more?
  22. Like you it's Fury! Nobody can deny that coaster is their best! The great B&Ms that fall short of my top ten, but still make top 25 are Behemoth, Goliath (SFOG), Flying Dinosaur (by FAR the best Flyer), Diving Coaster (Happy Valley)/ShieKra, Fire Dragon (yeah.. higher than Montu and Alpengeist), Leviathan, Nitro, and Diamondback. All amazing coasters in their own right, but I can name plenty of coasters that are better!
  23. Just looking at my Top Ten steel by manufacturer, it becomes very clear: 1. Intamin 2. Intamin 3. Intamin 4. RMC 5. Intamin 6. B&M 7. RMC 8. RMC 9. Intamin 10. RMC And that's without even looking at my wood top ten (which is just icing in the cake for Intamin...). Simply put, B&M makes great second-tier coasters Now make a thread Intamin vs RMC and we might get some decent conversation between two master-tier coaster companies!
  24. I think 3rd row of Magnum (just like Phoenix) is the best for airtime. The back doesn't even come close
