  1. Sky Roller at Canada's Wonderland that opened in 2016
  2. Here's a video of Coaster Studios talking about spotting "two RMC employees carrying a binder" at Kennywood a week or two ago. Take it with a grain of salt. He's the one actively perpetuating the "Lightning Rod's launch was turned down and the ride sucks" rumor last weekend.
  3. You can say that again. Lightning Run is MILES better than the layout shown in this video
  4. Word on the street so to speak is this will be vekoma rather than B&M and is in fact what that weird prototype system they've had at the Vekoma factory for ages is for. Obviously this isn't confirmed by the park yet but seems plausible to me at least. I'm not exactly thrilled by that. But I need to go to Phantasialand regardless, so good luck Vekoma!
  5. Do you think this will be for 2018? And B&M, I'm assuming?? After riding Flying Dinosaur, I'm just thinking "Woah" at the potential for insane themed interactions on this.
  6. My Brother dragged me to the County Fair this year. This SDC Galaxi, Olympic Bobsled was a new credit for me. I will finally go to Lagoon next week though - So that's exciting!
  7. Thanks for your report! Every video I've seen looks identical to last year and last month
  8. That sounds like a BS rumor you'd see on a 15 year-olds roller coaster instagram.
  9. Here's a stupidly accurate No Limits recreation of the layout so far (well as far as the ledgers currently go, and a basic extrapolation of the lift/drop)
  10. SeaWorld San Diego - <10 mins Belmont Park - <10 mins Aquatica - 30 mins Legoland CA - 40 mins Mundo Divertido - 40 mins (with minimal border crossing time. Expect ~2 hours on your way back)
  11. OP says that they were "extra careful to stay off shore and obey all FAA guidelines."
  12. I saw this picture on Instagram, and just thought it was so great! I've never seen this angle, I love how twisted the layout is
  13. Totally agree with the first part. And I never saw this video so I'm skeptical of its legitimacy. Although if the park actually sent a cease and desist (on account of secret info and not trespassing or something else), that could mean something is actually happening.
  14. Absolutely. I was simply pointing out why the RMC rumor exists, not stating any validity on the rumor. For your own reference, we have this image from the meeting. Apparently this proposal was for 2018. I have no idea what the status of this is. And we have two separate accounts of RMC workers being present at the park. One states seeing both Fred Grubb and Alan Schilke at the park last fall. The other comes from a youtube channel who posted a video of "RMC markers" on some trees and RMC construction workers at the park [This was this past week]. The park then asked him to take down the video. I'm not saying this is proof of anything, but attaching RMC to this project in some way is definitely more than wishful thinking like the Legocraft implied.
  15. And because multiple people reported that they saw RMC employees at the park. And because the town council meeting plan had a layout that looked like a RMC wood coaster. So based on this your "fact" we know that the coaster will look like an RMC. That doesn't mean it will be an RMC. Not sure what you're trying to say here? Why are you quoting the word, fact? I never said that. My only point is that there's more evidence for RMC than only wishful thinking, even if it might be flimsy at this point. The layout in that plan had an element that looks suspiciously like the top view of Lightning Rod's wave turn.

  17. Hurler - 83ft (RMC'd) Twisted Twins - 80ft (RMC'd) Minebuster - 90ft ...It's quite easy for RMC to add height onto any coaster. To say this coaster can't be RMC'd for layout reasons (height, design, etc) is simply ignorant. Just look at the varying layouts RMC can redesign.
  18. The options seem open at this point. Also, is it weird that somebody misspelled architectural as "Archictural" in that permit listing?
  19. Very interesting, but 100' seems a bit short for an Impulse...
  20. My god, can't wait to see some track on this
  21. The joke was that some users here post rumors/speculation with absolute certainty, which is similar to what Coaster Studios does on his channel. (ie. AstrumSpark's last post does this multiple times)
  22. I like the way you think! (Selfishly, I'd much rather have a few rows backwards than have spinning)
  23. But its nothing compared to Minebuster. Show me an rmc that was made with a layout like Minebuster. Dude, there's literally 9 IBox RMCs in existence, there's obviously not a Mine Buster clone. But TC and Hurler have a ton of straight sections that people like you were skeptical of too... Don't doubt RMC's ability to make a kick-ass layout from any source material
