  1. Starsailor - Four to the Floor, an overlooked classic.
  2. A rather itchy light grey jumper with dark grey stripes, which cost £3 from Matalan, black jeans, ooooh, and a pedometer!
  3. No way, I live about 10 mins from Knutsford. Although i'm in Liverpool at the moment at uni, which is about an hour away. Used to work just outside Knutsford, at Tatton Park too.
  4. Why do I only ever come on here when I have a beer in my hand. Is it something about TPR, or am I always drinking? Anyway, i've got a can of Miller to my left *gestures*
  5. I'm actually really looking forward to this. Its something pretty damn different from anything else out there. Its Europe's tallest inverted coaster too, which is another selling point. I just hope to god its open when I go in July.
  6. The 3 new rides that i'm pretty sure i'll be riding next year are the 3 i'm getting most excited about. Firstly Speed Monster. A special trip to Norway just has to be made now. If it rides as good as it looks, it'll be bloody awesome! Secondly Black Mamba, might as well go back to Germany for a ride. Its looking worth it, and knowing how much effort Phantasialand put into their rides, this'll be awesome. Then, of course, Stealth. Its in my home country, and its new for us, so how could I not be excited?
  7. I dunno, we've had 52 people all together in a group on a trip before, and that went okay really. It all depends on what you want though, because obviously with more people together, there's more waiting around etc. Any idea when you'll have dates & stuff together?
  8. I think that may be what people are getting at. The front of the car is pushed through. SLCs i've found to be varied. Some are okay, some are a bit delicate, depending on the maintenance etc...
  9. Straight as a big pole! Thats... straight... Been with my girlfriend just over 4 1/2 years.
  10. Pete Yorn's version of The Buzzcocks' 'Ever Fallen In Love', from the Shrek 2 soundtrack.
  11. Which isn't particularly rubbish considering it does slam people towards to the ground. :? True, it does what it says on the tin, but it just sound cheesy to me. A bit too literal. I know a lot of people have got used to that now though, and if Stealth's name turns out a bit dodgy, then we'll more than likely get used to that in the long run too.
  12. ^Dragon's Fury, Chessington I'm glad they've finally made their mind up about this, as it gives me a little more reason to finally make the 5hr drive down there next year. Shame the layout isn't a bit more interesting though, but can't complain I guess, at least they're getting one.
  13. Excuse me the Francis? Anyway, it strikes me as fairly obvious that a thrilling ride can raise your heart rate. Adrenaline? Yeah, thought as much. If there was a way to go though, I guess that'd be a pretty good one. Bit of an inconvenience for the ops when you die though. How thoughtless.
  14. First looping coaster was Space Mountain: Mission 1 at DLRP. It was my first coaster of any sort, and also my first launch, all rolled into one nice little package.
  15. Nah, Thorpe Park are still arsing, and not letting us on. It may be another week or so yet. It'll probably be something rubbish when we get it anyway, considering their recent names, like 'Slammer'.
  16. Top of the pile i'd say would be the KMG Tango. I really found that amazing. It was just such an all-over-the-place experience, nothing lik i've ever experienced before.
  17. Certainly can mate, its was 26.50euro this summer. I expect that'll go up maybe a euro next year though, with the addition of the Mamba.
  18. I've managed 8 rides over the course of 2 visits now. Should be adding some more next summer too. Can't go a summer without a visit to Holiday Park! Especially considering how cheap it is for me to get there.
  19. Personally, i'd consider this to be a much more exciting project than Rita or Kanonen ever were, and also much more interesting than Project Stealth. I'm pretty sure i'm more excited about it than I was when I first saw Storm Runner going up too. I don't know what it is, there's just something about that really has grabbed my attention and made me look seriously at flight & hotel prices to Oslo next year!
  20. Got a can of Carling in my hand at the moment. The 'taste of Britain', according to the can. I'd beg to differ personally...
  21. It looks a 'bit' like Lisebergbanan, but I don't think i'm right with that...
  22. I'm playing 'drink the beer', on my own, in my flat. How cool am I?
  23. OS101 - Pura Vida, bit of old school punk rock...-ish
  24. I see where you're coming from with that yeah, but i'm just going by the fact that it has wheels, it goes round a track, and i've ridden it! In the truest sense of the word, a powered coaster isn't really a proper coaster, but if it looks like poo, and it smells like poo, its close enough to poo for me...
  25. The lifthills are actually really cool, and you don't particularly notice the hangtime until the last minute, its the way that the lapbar tries to squeeze all of your internal organs out of you at every moment it has that kinda is a bit of a letdown.
