  1. How did the coaster going through the hubless ferris wheel make any sense at all? I know there is no hubs, but the wires holding up that big sign in the middle would get ripped on the track or slice the track. Does anyone else see that?
  2. Oh wow, they did change the layout quite a bit. Did they have to order new track from Gerstlaur, or did they decide on the layout changes before hand? Whatever it is, looks like fun.
  3. ^I hope that happens. Good point.
  4. I want a GCI the most, which is lucky because it seems the most likely. Sort of.
  5. Actually, there's a few more: white castle dippin dots stand b&m dive machine b&m standup/floorless cinderella castle
  6. In the latest blog entry, Brandon said that one of the guesses in the previous entry ("many updates") was correct. I'm sorry to say nobody guessed a hannah montana ride. The guesses were: family ride/rollercoaster (similair to knotts) GCI woodie new haunt zambezi zinger 2 new section 1000 foot coaster (just a joke) skyhawk like flat ride maverick like intamin inverted impulse coaster rides from Geauga mine train water ride so we've narrowed it down to those 12, I guess...
  7. Went there today (sorry no pics, dad got camera), looked exactly like it did in the wof blog. Except, where I believe the old Zambezi Zinger station was, which last year was just a big concrete slad next to the train tracks, is recently fenced off with some new paint and a lot of flags on it, as well as an arch structure made of pipes. Wonder if this could be the station or something.
  8. can't believe no one said this yet: bench: the ride!
  9. Are you kidding? With some better scenery and master advice, you would be amazing! There are plenty of bad people at ne anyway, but they normally learn. Or give up. But normally learn. Like me (RaPiPo). I'm not that good, but I'm learning.
  10. ^haha great. Only problem is they might hit each other!
  11. There is no location given, and I don't remember if it was here or at Thrill Network, someone said they have seen the patent properly and it is not in Africa. Plus didn't someone earlier in the year have a thread about 2009, where whoever made it said Worlds of Fun slipped that they will be building their next biggest thing this year (more expensive, rather). Correct me if I'm wrong, but that doesn't mean no rollercoaster.
  12. ^It's actually 115', I think. The prototype in Mexico was 125' though. However, I may be wrong. Also, that land clearing is not the only area for construction, I think. The flags are everywhere!
  13. You're very talented, why don't you come over to nedesigns.com and learn from the masters of rct2 and rct1 (ll)? You would be welcomed there, I am sure.
  14. That's really cool. The KC renaissance (sp?) festival has really great homemade rides every year, I love going to ride them.
  15. ^I love idiocracy! Definitely one of my favorites. It's such a great idea, I can't help but think that it could actually happen.
  16. I would like to see a section that lets us set the default post options, so you don't need to keep unchecking 'notify me' and checking 'attach sig', it will automatically do that.
  17. Great job conquering your fear. For about the first 6 months of my rollercoaster enthusiast life, I was scared of hypercoasters. Luckily for me, there were no hypercoasters in Israel, so by the time I got back to ride Mamba I was over my fear. My first looper was a schwartzkopf (sp?)
  18. The Pretzel Loop was great. Now you need a baby Kingda Ka...
  19. ...you turned your whole family into coaster enthusiasts as well ...you draw rollercoasters instead of doodling ...when you're driving, you look out the window and pretend there's a rollercoaster that travels alongside the road
  20. Cool, thanks everyone. I emailed WOF to ask what clubs are accepted, and then I will find the cheapest one.
  21. I'm really wanting to go, but I can't get any information on it, not even the date. Every website (not that there's very many) has something completely different. The link on WOF's website just takes me to the special events list, and it's not on that list. Any information would be awesome. Thanks. Hobbesx2 p.s. I take it you have to be part of ACE or something to attend (Is there an age limit on joining that?)
  22. This sounds awesome. I am so excited. I think I will be there for opening day, I'll snap some pictures on the train.
  23. This is what I say to the complainers: tough shit. They bought a house near Legoland, or if they already had one there before it was built they approved it's construction (probably). Just move. Please don't give this to all coasters in England. I haven't been to any England parks yet, so don't ruin them. EDIT: Haha, it changed shiit to poo poo.
