^^ I'm pretty sure they took it down because they thought the gs were too high. I was there when they were taking it down, and then again when it was gone but I stole a bit of the coaster left over. I think it was part of a support I took.

^I think WOF will be able to keep the ride up. Sure, Timberwolf sucked but that wasn't a gci and it is old. It's different. Anyway, they did some work on the Timberwolf and it is so much better now.

I've seen deer there as well, but I don't think that will be a problem. But you seem to be right about the water runoff in the ditch- there will have to be some serious drainage pipes or something.

This from Brandon's latest blog entry. The person does look like he is riding a coaster-hmm.. It does seem to rule out any possible doubts about a woodie- an Intamin or B&M would probably have otsr's and the seating would look different. Not like we had any doubt about that though...

Silver Dollar City definitely needs a slow pace to enjoy it. I spent 1 and a half days there and that was just about ride to do everything as many times as possible at a leisurely rate. That was a good, thorough trip report though.

Well, over at Thrill Network, DHollon said that the building underneath boomerang was for the new maze/haunt-I think it says Africa on the building permit and anyway he has inside information some of the time and can normally be trusted. I don't think this is hype for the haunt though.

The thing is, I hate arrow corkscrews just as much as the next person, but it's still sad to see all there old arrow and vekoma rides getting dismantled. Eventually there will be none left, and with not as many rough old rides to compare our new smooth rides against, we will not appreciate them as much. Eventually the existing ones will have to get ACE status.

What's wrong with Patriot? It's a great ride- it's even got airtime! And as CP_Rules said, it greatly increased attendence. Worlds of Fun is and probably will be for some time a fairly small, family oriented park with some good thrill rides. I've been to CP, KI, SFMM, etc. and they are all too different to judge wof against.

How are they going to plant an upside down tree? If they got trains on the immelmans to duel that would be sweet (but I'm pretty sure not possible).

The scary thing is, over on Thrill Network, someone pretending to be DHollon's wife revealed a bunch of probably fake information, but she (he) also said there would be a cat on the loose at worlds of fun (or something like that). Probably just a weird coincidence.
