  1. But don't the new Intamins have a slightly different OTSR? I could have sworn seeing something with a different padding or material. Maybe that crazy Japaneese version of Stealth or the ZacSpins.
  2. Seconded. Maverick's pull out was really cool, and it usually makes me black out! I'm sure this will be very similar.
  3. It's not my fault you have poor taste. Well, it's a change from Clemson! Great pictures Derek, looking forward to more!
  4. Oh crap, I forgot to add Kombo from Indi Zoo to my list

Thanks Robb! 1 – Coasters that I would go out of my way to ride. (My all time favorites or my "top ten".) 2 – Coasters that I like a lot. (My second favorites) 3 – Coasters that I like, but I wouldn’t wait longer than 10 minutes in line to ride. 4 – Coasters that I don’t feel the need to ever ride again, but I would. 5 – Coasters that I wouldn’t care if they were torn down or burned to the ground!
  6. For the sake of total accuracy, the name was a combination of every theming idea people thought the ride was going to be. KI did a good job of trying to trick people, so their teasers had references to snakes, horses, and something about like laser vision or infrared. The Photoshop was done solely as a joke to make people calm down about the name and theme at the time. I added the "On Fire" bit, because everything is better on fire. Glad it stuck around! They were even turned into the most popular t-shirt on the market! Hotness!
  7. Seeing and hearing that most TPR members claim that Boulder Dash and Bizarro are one of the best woodies and steelies in the WORLD....I couldn't pass up on that opportunity. That's why I'm choosing to visit those two parks over VA parks next year! And besides, I haven't heard many good things about KD; and BGE can wait when there's an amazing Intamin on the line
  8. Andrew W.K.'s Party Hard seems to be the theme of Saturday nights! Or any other Andrew W.K. song.
  9. I haven't laughed this much during a TR in quite a while. You're lacking on turnstyle photos....not IN DEPTH enough! This should be a TR about strictly turnstyles!
  10. Oh, that Mack e-Motion ride? How is that?!
  11. Mystery Mine at Dollywood. Next coaster: Kentucky Rumbler on the 19th.
  12. They recognize the In-depth coverage Robb and Elissa have provided From the Gravity Group blog: Later in the forum thread there is even more in-depth coverage. LOL! That's awesome! The videos are great, Robb. The shaking animatonics had me laughing for a good five minutes!
  13. Wow, I can't believe you got pics in the maze, let alone posted them. Kings Island is VERY strict on things like this, just saying. Club Blood originals at KI! -JZ
  14. Mystery Mine's grad finale is incredible. Scary lift, fire, airtime, tons of speed and hangtime! Scooby Doo's Spooky Coaster has one of the best finishes, too. Rehehehe! Goliath at SFOG's airtime buffet. Shockwave at SFOT's extreme airtime buffet. Cornball Express's helix of death, then ejector air hills. And finally, Steel Hawg's CRAZY downward heartline roll that makes you feel like you're going to meet the gravel. I DON'T like Millennium Force's finish. A hill too small to produce airtime, straightaway, decent overbank, brakes. But I do like to lean out the side of the train and yell at people in line! -JZ
  15. Hey Weeeeeeeesssssssss....where's that one thread you posted?
  16. And SFMM doesn't have much of a step up from their kiddie coaster. It's just kiddie coaster to the mine train. I think this will draw more younger families to the park; and I thought DL was quite the drive away? I didn't know it was close, or I would have taken a break from DL for SFMM! Gah!
  17. Wow. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Great pictures and updates Joe. I'm really bummed I'm going to be missing out on Germany in the Euro Trip. Looking forward to more! Oh, and don't forget about Dollywood! -Zach
  18. I am BEYOND satisfied with this IN DEPTH!!! coverage!!!
  19. ProSlide! AWESOME update! I love looking at ProSlide and White Water West's websites...some really cool stuff coming in 2010. Come to Kings Island, we haven't had anything since 2004. Jeff Seibert, we miss you! -JZ
  20. ^It looks like Gravity Group took the "J" out of Timberliner! I wonder if there will be a TPR DVD section in the future at IAAPA.. ADMIN EDIT - Please keep this thread to TPR's Photos, and keep in mind we will have more posted throughout the day, tonight, and tomorrow. Do not post pictures from other sites.
  21. I'll wait for some more in-depth coverage. I hope we get to see some of Vekoma's "B&M Style" hyper and invert trains. The Mauhr spinner model looks good!
  22. Newsplusnotes: The ride will be closed for the 2010 season, and when it reopens in 2011 it will be "steeper, faster, and loaded with special effects" says park President Steve Martindale. Also revealed is that most of the ride's structure will remain in place, and they estimate about 15% of the ride's configuration will be changed. Just adding up the details. I think this will make SFOT a more talked about park. I don't hear much about it and it's one of the best parks I've been to! -Intamin Bobsled -Mr. Freeze -Titan -New and improved giant woodie -Great indoor coaster -Dark Ride -Beautiful atmosphere -Batman -Fun Mine Train -S&S Combo Tower -Parachute ride Yup, I can't wait to go back and visit!! -JZ
  23. Batman at SFOG - This ride is...wow, intense. I rode twice in a row and regreted it. It's an amazing ride, but the second ride gave me a head ache! The Legend - It's cool the first time, but then the lateral forces really get to you; then it's like being broken over the side of the train! Magnum XL - Your legs can only take so much! Mick Doohan's Moto Coaster - It's kind of cool being a moto bike coaster...then it's just bland and boring. Firehawk - Cool the first time, but then it's just rough, painful, and uncomfortable.
  24. Great White felt different than ANY OTHER Batman, to me. It wasn't as intense in the sense that I didn't want to ride it too many times (which Batman at SFOG made me feel), and it was way more intense than other Batman clones. I thought the ride was tucked away in its own little world, the way it fit into the landscape it was given. That's why it beats out any other Batman.
