  1. Joey, this is scary. I just ate a massive Chipotle burrito bowl, and yet your pictures of food, and selection of food still makes me hungry! Awesome!
  2. Somewhat disappointed by the Dark Knight Rises. There's a lot of characters to follow, Batman isn't on the screen half the movie, Catwoman has no whip, Bane is a good villain...but not as good as the Joker. His plans aren't that elaborate, fun/scary to watch, and not that memorable. The second half of the movie was a bummer. But everything was pretty overwhelming and it was like, 2 in the morning so I'll have to see it again. Also, I'm never ever ever going to settle for the 1-10 first rows in a theatre. That's not a way to see a movie; with your neck at a 70* angle for 3 hours.
  3. Here's the trend: Maggie, millie, Draggie......so it's got to be something that fanboys can turn into ie at the end. I'lljustavoidthisthreadliketheplagueuntiltheannouncement-ie
  4. Invertigo was open yesterday, but Delirium is down and has two cranes around it. I think it's out for a month at the minimum. Also, Haunt 2012......expect Crypt to be turned into a ...not one, not two, but possibly...three story Haunt attraction! Kings Island is going to be hands down the best Halloween event in the Midwest.
  5. ^Seeing that he's Australian, I'm 99.9% sure he's talking about Superman Escape in Movie World.
  6. I'll always love Scooby's Spooky coaster. Maybe it was really good because I was marathoning it with aussie girls all day haha. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who puts it in their top five.
  7. Just don't let SDC stop construction and start building it themselves, like Kings Island
  8. Odd to see some negative reviews blaming the ride's performance on 'the european fans hyping it up', the only other coaster I can say I've seen this happen to is Millennium Force. Interesting. Looks like a cool ride with all the elements and theming a coaster fan would want; why let someone else's opinion ruin it? Don't worry, Americans are weird, all internationals should know this
  9. I'll be 21 for this year! Seriously, last year's even was so much fun. The aquarium, ATL, food, and ERT! If you've never had Acrophobia ERT, you're missing out on life. Ps, I heard about this strip club where you get to shower the strippers and soap them up right in front of you! So you know they'll be clean!
  10. I'm assuming TPR is going to have some local so-cal badasses to go check out Lex Luthor...when can we expect reviews? I know it's opening on the 7th. I realllyyyyy need to get to West Coast bash now. Giant Drop in Australia was incredible! I know Blue Fall's reviews say it packs more of a punch on the drop, but people are going to love this ride. Soooo good! Love it when the tower shakes
  11. The new Spiderman was a great movie from start to finish. I'm not a big comic book/Marvel/picky super hero guy, so maybe I'm missing something because almost everyone I know didn't think it was going to be a good movie. The acting core was solid, new Spiderman tricks, great camera work, and a good villain. What's more to want? Oh, and I think Stan Lee has his best cameo in it!
  12. So, Giant Drop in Australia was one of the best theme park experiences I've had. Sure, this ride is in SFMM, not on Australia's Gold Coast/Surfers Paradise, butttt I wouldn't complain about the delays..I'd go crazy if I had that in my area.
  13. Dear lawd the Ducky game has come a longggg way in terms of difficulty. I think I'm retiring from the game!
  14. This is still my favorite thread. Incredibly jealous, although amazed to meet you at Chicago Midwest Bash the other year! LOL! Love the updates, pictures, and overall enthusiasm of each posts
  15. Wild Eagle, Dollywood. Millennium, Cedar Point. Mystery Mine, because you're infront of an explosion. Voyage, Holiday World. Boardwalk Bullet, Kemah. Titan at SFOT. Superman Krypton - SFFT
  16. Well, the Walking Dead is awesome as a TV show....how will they make it crazy good as a maze? It's just zombies, not too much else...the show works on emotion, the drama between the actors, etc. Oh, wait, I heard you can frequently find naked face-eating zombies at the exit ramps of most highways in Florida, right?
  17. I'm yelling as loud as I can right now. Can you hear me? I'm hoping for a midwest bash again. I'll be back in Chicago soon. The waterpark there looks amazing after the recent additions. Also, the collection of Viper, Bull, Batman, Whizzer, XFlight, and Eagle is pretty stellar. Oh, and V2.
  18. Texas Trip 2009 Holla! I loved Schlitterbahn...so much fun, so many things to do. And no matter how freakin' hot Texas is, the water from those streams will always be right at 35*
  19. Least Favorite Intamin - Mick Doohan's Moto Coaster at Dreamworld, AU. It was just boring and uncomfortable. I highly doubt I'd wait more than 5 minutes for any moto-coaster. GCI - Thunderhead? It was rough later in the day when I rode it. I liked Rumbler better. B&M - I've had some TERRIBLE Mantis rides. I still liked Iron Wolf over Mantis.
  20. I saw five, possibly a sixth. I'm going to lock in on 5 ducks.
  21. Could this be the shortest ride with five trains?
  22. It could be from medicine, food, or drink. During the Deep South Bash last year I was taking a new medication....and in the morning even though I had apple juice and some breakfast; after riding DareDevilDive, Mindbender, and Batman all within an hour I got sick pretty quick. I had never ridden a coaster and felt sick after. Never. After getting sick and laying down for a bit I felt better; it was totally the medicine and I don't take it if I'm going to a park.
  23. Maybe Americans are just too fat, have odd body sizes, too skinny, or maybe if Jack Bauer had to come back to Valencia and shoot a terrorist from Green Lantern mid-ride. Maybe I'm just kidding because we know Jack wouldn't miss no matter what. Boo avoiding inversions. It just sounds rude or elitist or something.
  24. I worked on Diamondback for the 2009 season and it's had a rattle (more noticeable on the back half of the train, outer seats) since the day it opened. If you sit in row 16, you'll feel the rattle the worst at the bottom of the hill coming out of the turn around into the 3rd hill/trim hill. It's still a top 10 ride for me despite the flaw; some people only talk about that aspect of the ride, others don't even mention the rattle. Honestly I avoid the outer seats in the back of the train for this reason. It's really annoying and feels like someone threw dry cement on the track. It hasn't gotten worse or better in my opinion... Kings Island hasn't been able to put in a ride with 0 problems or obscurities and that's what separates them from Busch, top of the line Six Flags parks, Universal, and Disney.
