Vortex has served its purpose. It's a classic, but it's brutal. If they have better use of the space then I wouldn't argue.

Damn, I skipped on FOF yesterday. Saturday. It had a 90 minute wait all day but I would have waited to try it without MCBR like the old days.

Was there all day yesterday and had a great time. The Beast had tons of new trackwork done on virtually every turn; it was incredibly smooth and enjoyable! Diamondback was amazing as usual. Top Gun at night = amazing. Haunt mazes were much better last night than earlier this month. For a Saturday night, last weekend crowd I got to ride every coaster and 7/12 haunts. Massacre Manor was the best, then Slaughterhouse, Urgent Scare, Wolf Pack, Madam Fatale's, Holiday Horror, and Club Blood. So, Drop Zone's cable broke at 10pm last night. That blows. Also, look for something Leviathon-esque in 2014

Yikes I really hope Skyrush doesn't have major problems. I am hoping this new ride wouldn't have the be modified outside of the restraints before I got to it.

Went to the park yesterday; Madam Fatale's Caven was very dissapointing and short. I heard so many great things about it! Very sad. Also this. So long!

Man I miss Kings Island's old flume. I love Intamin flumes. Awesome stuff, this is so rad

Can't wait. Kings Island since CF's rule has really turned it up for Haunt. If you go on a good night (when they have enough actors and get them comfortable and get the right maze set up) it's really tough to beat KI. I'm sure they are right up there with Knott's.

Biggest and best...yeah pretty much looks like it! Holy crap looks like every bad ass waterslide I'd ever want to ride in one place. Although they don't have a classic speed slide. It's easy to add one in after the first year, though.

I have android so I can't buy it; but I do have the iTouch, so I'll have to get this app! This is great for TPR and coaster fans. Before I knew any forums to go to, I'd just try to Google and iTunes search coasters; not many results came up back then, but obiously technology has gotten better. I'm sure this will help coaster fans learn more about this fun hobby/passion and make TPR even bigger! Can it get any bigger?!

When I saw YOLO I thought this was a joke; I haven't heard anything about this ride, really. I feel like this coaster doesn't belong in their line up; don't they need an airtime machine?

First off, love the Carl pic. Second, You're Fired? What's with the title of the thread? Even though I went to SFOT in 2009 before New Giant, I thought it was the best SF park I've been it. The place was beautiful dude, don't kid yourself into thinking you're going to find another CF or SF park that's taken care of better than SFOT, in my opinion. The quality of rides, coasters, food, and feel to each area makes it on of my favorite parks I've been to. Times change, the rides change, the park changes some; but you can't ask for a time machine. He was probablY an old Texas Giant fan, and is strugging with the steel vs. wood debate. "Back in my day, all the roller coasters were....made of wood, and we had to walk 48 miles to get cotton candy and admission was one wooden nickel"

They totally put Thorpe Park's entrance to shame but putting in a real coaster over the entrance versus having piece of track!

This looks great. Hopefully they will be able to load both sides of the train at the same time, unlike Wild Eagle. It should suck up some of the crowds from TTD, MF, and Maverick too. I wonder how many inversions this thing will have, and if it's going to be over 210 feet; That's the record for Wild Eagle even though it only has a 130ft drop. So I'm hoping they're not going for the biggest drop at 150ft or whatever.

Rode in the back seat and it was pretty bad. Rode at night in a middle seat and it was fun. Only ride during the night! I really wish they would re-do the ride. Which is more painful...slamming into the restraint from the brakes every 30 seconds or the jackhammering?

I'm pretty sure SOB had the loudest lift, too. It was absolutely deafening. Especially at the top. Those who have ridden, I'm sure you can agree haha

When I was 13 or so, I rode the Beast in the very last seat...I had ridden it many many times before, but I had the worst ride in the world. Worse than any Son of Beast ride; I could hardly breathe when I got back in the station it rattled me that badly. I didn't ride it until they retracked it in 2007 haha. It was seriously that bad. Demon Drop would make me nervous...you can see through the floor! And it's soo...rickety?

I'd be a little nervous about drop towers on TTD/KK. The structure on Superman/ TOT seems to fit just right in supporting the additional weight...I'm no structural engineer but I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm not so sure how well a Wingrider would do in its place either with Chicago having one, Dollywood's Wild Eagle, and CP putting in one next year. That's all within a 3.5-5 hour drive from Cincy. But I do believe a wing rider is the most likely new coaster to come to Kings Island; but who knows, maybe we'll shock the world and get an Intamin. But can't go wrong with a Wing Rider. Look what it did to Dollywood's attendance.
