  1. ^ It might have been crap, but everybody seemed to agree on it. Including: Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, John Edwards, Robert Byrd, Henry Waxman, Tom Daschle, and Nancy Pelosi.
  2. Lean your head forward on a Vekoma SLC and see what happens. I dare you
  3. EPCOT // I am a bad coaster enthuiast
  4. Note to a the people who rag on rough rides: Stop being a p***y!
  5. I have never seen it in the US, but I have heard that it does exist. // waiting for my opportunity to slap back
  6. Want a rollback. It isn't that hard. 1. Go on a cooler day 2. Sit up front 3. Wear a baggie Windbreaker 4. At the end of the launch spread your arms like a bird and create a parachute out of your jacket. 5. Repeat until at the top of the hill Trust me. If you are adult size and do this, you WILL rollback.
  7. It is a Herschell flat ride. They are currently in the process of refurbing it. Go to the bottom of the TR for a picture: http://capital2.capital.edu/admin-staff/dalthoff/v99/enchvill.html
  8. A little bit cheaper way of getting it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=19015&item=5972968372&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
  9. Closed in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...
  10. Get there at opening and hit a couple of the low capacity flats. Walk down to SS and get in as sooon as they open. Hit the funnel and Zoombabwe first then enjoy the rest of your day doing everything else at your own pace. Of course, don't forget to ride the Raven as late as possible.
  11. Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain at WDW are both pretty sick. I will also agree with PhishyBrewer. I have seen Raptor being run so fast that it actually set off the block system.
  12. ^ With a track length over 6000 ft, I would almost guarantee that the "flat" section will be a Mid-Course "brake". I just don't think the brake will actually do anything unless needed.
  13. ^ Not sure which one you might have seen, but this might help: http://www.ridezone.com/rides/caterpillar/index.htm There are only a couple left that still have operating canopies.
  14. ^ Agreed. The freeway stamp system has got to be one of the worse executions of virtual queueing anywhere. Have you ever noticed the condition of the stampers surroundings?
  15. I started thinking about that very thing and the best i could come up with is this: Since the coaster appears to border the woods quite frequently, it seems like a steel structure would keep the base of those tall hills from getting too wide. Hence saving some trees and concealing the coaster. I mean look at the supports for Mean Streaks first drop ... Source: http://www.rcdb.com compared to Hades ... 16. ^ The only thing I was trying to figure out was wouldn't it be "PhishPhanatic"
  17. But I posted mine ..... SLACKER!
  18. Please do not stand on the rapid ride. Thank you.
  19. Good for you.
  20. I totally forgot: 13. Never, ever, ever dribble a basketball in a park
  21. All because Galileo bitch-slapped Aristotle
  22. The funny "fight" thread got me thinking back to the time I came up with the "Unwritten Rules of Theme/Amusement Parks". Feel free to add to these. 1. Always go to the last seat of any row 2. Always fill all available space 3. Step out of line to purchase crap 4. Never "Catch up" to a group. Always stop and let them catch up to you. 5. No Smoking in Line (even if it isn't posted) 6. Wear Sunscreen 7. Get to the park EARLY 8. Drink lots of water 9. Never wear jeans or jean shorts on a water ride 10. When in doubt ... turn left 11. Start in the back (There are exceptions) Help me out here ....
  23. Try this one. When I moved from Florida to West Virginia (insert laughter here) I had to pay 5% of the value of the car to get my plates. // wishing I hadn't bought a new car before moving.
