  1. ^^^^I don't think it is an issue since they built Tony Hawk rides at both SFFT and SFOT.
  2. ^^Maybe I should have joined you tonight as well!
  3. ^Thanks again for everything William. It was nice meeting you at the pre party on Saturday night. It was clear that you really took great care in making this an incredible event for everyone.
  4. ^I almost considered asking you about IceBat but somehow got distracted and never did. Next time I see you Dave I expect to get my picture taken with him. (I was the guy in the leather jacket hanging out with you towards the end of the night.)
  5. ^Hey Robb is turning British in his behaviour. I also agree that in the nature of good fun it really sucks that you guys did that to other teams. I also don't understand why you would come on here to complain that your team was disqualified. How would you feel if it was your team wandering around for an hour looking for a clue? It was clear to me that the park went above and beyond to give us a great day. I for one appreciate that!
  6. Congratulations! Babies are such a blessing.
  7. Ok I guess I will start. I am the red nosed guy in picture number 41. My real name is Shawn and my wife is also in the picture. Her name is Jasmine. Speaking of Jasmine, she won a prize and chose the UPS Hoodie and gave it to me! I just want to thank Big Mike again for a great day. He is such a great guy! Thanks Big Mike!
  8. ^John both Jasmine and I enjoyed spending the day with you as well!! I hope we can do it again someday!
  9. ^^I take it you were one of Big Mike's little friends. My wife and I enjoyed meeting you. I agree that night ERT was a lot of fun and it would have been fun to stage a takeover of Canyon Blaster. Oh well!
  10. I also wanted to say thank you to the TPR and Rideworld crews. We simply had an incredible day at SFMM. I have one comment on the management. After leaving the park we discovered a flat tire on our car. Not only did SFMM's mechanic come out and change our tire for us, but Neal stopped and waited to make sure everything turned out ok. (Long after everyone else was gone.) Now that is what I call service and management that cares! Awesome job everyone!
  11. I absolutely love the new shirt! I wonder if Jay Leno might have you back now that you are giving him all of this free promotion! Both Jasmine and I can't wait to meet you tonight!
  12. ^Thanks for the site. I watched the recaps of the last few episode and found these videos really informative.
  13. ^Eric, you are just so punny!
  14. ^I love Orlando, but I have never been cut off so much in my life as I was there. Other than that, the traffic in Orlando and Florida as a whole isn't too bad. I agree about Georgia. It is one of my favorite states.
  15. ^I agree that anywhere else Knotts would be a fine park, which is why I don't mind visiting it once in a while, but given its location and the local competition, Knotts just isn't good enough IMO. In other words, I visit both Disneyland and SFMM much more often because I feel I get a lot more from either of those parks.
  16. Did somebody praise Knotts and then trash SFDK in the same sentence? Oh hell no! Knotts certainly isn't what it was, but I have no problem with accepting it now as a coaster park. It is not a theme park like in the past, but simply a park with a lot of coasters. The problem is that they have the ultimate "theme" park () down the street and a much better coaster park about an hour away. In my list of parks in Southern California, Knotts certainly holds up the rear. Thanks for the trip report, even if I got a little lost with some of the captions!
  17. ^I was thinking the same thing about TPR merchandise and whether it will be available for purchase or not. A TPR hoodie would be a great idea given the forecast.
  18. It mentions in the very first post what is included with the event. One of the things is an event tshirt. I can see where you might have skimmed over it.
  19. This is going to be crazy, but I have all the faith in the world that everyone involved will not only make it work, but turn it into a fantastic event. I for one think that my strategy will be to head to the top of the summit and then work my way down to Tatsu and eventually to X2. Hopefully everyone spreads out. Thanks again for doing this Robb! I can't wait.
  20. ^I agree that the notion that the Chinese are completely uncivilized is not true based on my experience. I really think this is Disney playing hard ball. Ultimately it is in both parties best interests to get the expansion financed. While your trip in September saw the park empty, when we visited earlier in the summer the park was hopping, even on a weekday. The addition of IASM clearly was well received and more E-tickets are needed to draw out the locals. With Ocean Park in the midst of a huge expansion, it is crucial that HK Disneyland expands into a full day park IMO. Given the size of China I believe there is plenty of room for both parks (HKDL & Shanghai DL) in the country. China's middle class is approaching the size of America's and growing every day. If we can fully support two Disney resorts then the Chinese can as well. In fact, if they make each one of the parks somewhat unique, then they may grow a whole generation of Disney fans in China who visit both parks.
  21. ^No problem Big Mike. Here you go. Here is a portion of what you see when you unfold it. The ticket portion is on the right with a special confirmation number and your name and address on the back of it. And the back. Here is the front.
  22. ^Millennium Force has a 48" height requirement so I am not sure if it is the restraints alone causing that to happen. Remember Cyclone at SFNE is 54" as well because of its intensity and that height was mandated by the state I believe.
  23. ^I like the hat Eric! Is that also you in the background of the picture with Dan? Thanks for the pictures.
  24. I also just received my ticket today as well. They sure did a good job of making it look like an advertisement. I can see many people mistakenly throwing these in the trash!
