  1. This report is awesome. Who could go wrong with the Redneck Hot Tub! Thanks for posting this!
  2. Thanks! Great pictures. I can't wait to get to DLPR. It is the only Disney resort I haven't been to. DLP is such a beautiful park.
  3. ^ I was just talking with my wife last night about what it would take to get into a dinner service at Hell's Kitchen. It would be awesome, as long as you don't go in hungry, because sometimes the food doesn't come out.
  4. I love Hell's Kitchen. Gordon Ramsay is great and I love Kitchen Nightmares (Especially the British version on BBC America) as well. He is much nicer in the British show which leads me to believe his over the top behavior on Hell's Kitchen is a little over done for dramatic effect. Of course, Gordon Ramsay does love to curse no matter what. He is a brilliant chef though and that is why he is where he is.
  5. ^There have been a few old teams that made it pretty far in the earlier seasons. I haven't watched the last couple of years because I myself was traveling, but can't wait for it to come on!
  6. ^I have never been on either Flight of Fear, but I hated both Joker's Jinx and Poltergeist because they are so slow and pointless in my opinion. It sound like I wouldn't like the Flight of Fear coasters either. I am not a fan of the Spaghetti Bowl design.
  7. ^I agree. Both rides look amazing. I think this was a great idea!
  8. I am also sad that the Mickey Mouse Revue is going away at Tokyo Disney. It is an old school charming Disney attraction. Thanks for all of the great pictures.
  9. ^The email clearly states that you need to present photo ID when you use the ticket so I don't think selling it on Ebay will work.
  10. ^Well there is still one spot left!
  11. I just got my email as well. Now I have to figure out a way to get down to Orlando this year!
  12. In regards to the 2010 coaster, it could be a THBS clone or a similar spinner with a different theme. Those are great, fun family coasters and IMO that is what SFMM needs from its next new coaster.
  13. I really liked the Paul Bunyan theme. It is a shame that its going to be gone. For a log flume inside a mall, this ride really blew me away.
  14. Thanks for bringing this thread back. I had never seen it before.
  15. ^I would just mention that Chimelong Paradise is not owned by the same company as the Happy Valley parks, but you could be right. Only time will tell!
  16. I just sent mine. Its kind of lame, but it was worth a try.
  17. The new color certainly stands out more. I like it. Thanks for the pictures.
  18. ^The first Happy Valley only opened with two coasters. (The mine train and SLC) I think they will continue to expand these parks, but at least they are adding bigger and better coasters to their lineup including the Woodie and Dive Machine for the Shanghai park. I think opening with four coasters is actually a good start.
  19. ^^^^I agree that the ride operation policies were frustrating for us and the day we visited HVB it was mobbed, forcing us into long lines for everything. I do agree that the thought put into the theming is good, I just thought the execution in Beijing was off and much preferred HVS or even Chimelong Paradise. Robb you are absolutely correct that it is better than many of the crapholes that call themselves amusement parks in China. I guess I judge it based on what it is trying to be and for me HVB failed where the original HVS succeeded when it came to theming. Back to the topic of the new park in Chengdu, it looks great and I wish that I could do the China trip with you guys later this year. I also can't wait to see what Happy Valley Shanghai looks like when it opens. With so many large cities in China, I could see them building these parks in dozens of cities around the country!
  20. I feel so special now that Big Mike and I are friends!
  21. ^I still stand by my comments. The Beijing park looks horrible with the exception of the B&M flyer. Like I said before in this thread, this new park looks more like Happy Valley Shenzhen than Happy Valley Beijing and I think that is a good thing. While I hated HVB, many TPR members who went on the China trip liked it, so my opinion is just my own.
  22. ^Hey now, we have to try to keep him down here on earth!
  23. Thanks for the TR. I always love seeing parks in other countries. This park kind of reminds me of Xetulul in Guatemala. When I showed up there, I was blown away at the level of theming considering where it is located. Thanks again for all of the great pictures.
