That song is funny, she tries to rap thinking she is the best thing out, but she ends up failing miserably. I like the song's beat, but she has absolutely no rapping skills. The few that can rap are Eminem, Tupac an Biggie Smalls(even though their both dead), Jay-Z (even though he is "retired") and Lil'Wayne. The other rappers are mainly avaerage with just OK rhymes and and big hype over an OK song. The people who can't rap are Dem Franchize Boyz, Madonna, Fergie, Fred Durst, and D4L.

What hair color do you prefer in a mate?
map2 replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
I like girls with black hair that is silky and has a lot of bounce to it. But I'm not to fond of cornrows or dreads. I also like brunettes whose hair is silky and has bounce, and does not have any cornrows or dreads. -
Speed--The Ride in Vegas
map2 replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Do not stay at the Stratosphere. Even though you get a duscount for the rides, the rooms are real small, and get real stuffy if you take a shower over 3 mins. The Paris hotel is nice, and has the Eiffel Tower so you can go up and look at the view. Bellagio is nice, and the rooms are real nice, but its kind of boring for anyone under 21. Mandalay Bay is nice and so in NYNY. The Luxor is pretty good, but you definately want to make sure your room is in the pyramid. Circus Circus is fun to visit, but I don't know about staying there. For the coasters, Speed is probably the best even though to me it is boring. Manhattan Express is real bumpy and gives you a head ache. Hope this helps -
^I don't think you're supposed to I just thought you weren't supposed to because I've never seen anyone spell out the full word on a post.

Wow! Very subtle comment. I didn't know you were allowed to say the full word, I thought you had to put astreixes or stars, or something. I'm predicting that this thread is going to be closed by someone.

When I know I'll be on a plane more than 6 hours, and there is a time zone change that can affect my sleeping hours, the night before I leave, I try to stay up late, so it will be easier for me to sleep on the plane.

I don't donate money because I don't have any. But my parents donate a lot of money.

I don't understand the Knott's hate
map2 replied to mudger's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Honestly I enjoyed the park when I went in October. It was on a Thursday and there were hardly any people there. The place was like a ghost town. To me that was a great time to go. Because it during the time that the park was opened for "regular" days before the Halloween themed nights took over. Most of the people in line were getting their tickets to the Halloween night, and then left to come back later. I had a lot of fun. I enjoyed Xcelerator, Supreme Scream, and Silver Bullet. Perilous Plunge was closed when we first entered, but then opened up around 3 P.M. To me it was fun, but I think I enjoyed SFMM better just for the simple fact that there are more things to do there. I look at it this way, if I'm willing to wait in an hour plus wait to get on a ride, then it shows that the ride must be good. The only ride that I could imagine myself waiting an hour for at Knotts is Xcelerator. At SFMM I would wait an hour for X, Deja Vu, Riddler's Revenge, Tatsu, and Goliath. The managment to me was not bad, but then I was only there for one day. -
Myspace is the cheap way of having an internet website. I don't know why it is so popular? Use your cell phones, or use instant messaging, or text messaging for that matter. To me it is a complete waste of time.

Probably because Denmark does not sit on any fault lines. Mainly areas that sit on fault lines get them. Other than those areas, it is rare to have an earthquake anywhere else. Of course it can always happen aywhere, but you don't have to worry about them that much.
-
The only earthquake I've ever been in was about 4 years ago when a VERY rare earthquake hit the Alabama/Georgia border line. It could be felt out here in Atlanta, which is what they said. It was around the same magnitude of the one you are talking about, but it happened in 4 in the morning, so I was still sleep. Other than that, I haven't been in one, unless you count a tremor, which I slept trough, that happened when I was visiting my uncle in L.A. But how long does an average earthquake last for? I heard they do not last more than 15 mins.

Dueling Dragons Queue line...
map2 replied to BeemerBoy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I was there out in May 2 years back, it was not outside the castle, but it was not inside it either. You know that little bit of queue they have between the gate and the castle entrance, thats where it was at. But they did not use all of the switchbacks though, I'm sure of that. Yeah it does get cramped in there, it can be one of the most miserable places to stand in a line because it gets hot in there, an it starts to smell after a while. The weirdest time I was there was Spring Braek of '03. They had these Fright Fest looking people walking through the line, and they scared the crap out of me. (I was 10 at the time). But the weirdest thing was that they were just randomly walking through the line going in the opposite way. This was in March, so HHN would not start until 7 months later. -
Dueling Dragons Queue line...
map2 replied to BeemerBoy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Longest I've ever waited was 45 mins. Universal must be doing something right if they can manage the lines so they don't get too crazy. -
Technically the 14th, but I still have to go to Freshman orientation the 11th. Oh well its the same thing as Middle School basically, getting 4+ hours of homework everyday, gee I wish I was in my county's public school system where they get 5 mins of homework. Oh well. Anyways, this one county in metro Atlanta (Rockdale County) started July 31

Dueling Dragons Queue line...
map2 replied to BeemerBoy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yaeh it holds the record for having the longest queue line ever! This is just my opinion, but at IOA, it seems that they put A LOT of lines/switchbacks for amost of the major lines, which is expected, but I have never seen the lines fill up the entire switchback. Hulk having their largest portion of switchbacks outside the main building, Spiderman having half of theirs out to the side of the building, Dudley Do Right, having theirs outside the main building, and Jurassic park having theirs scattered around. -

I really want to go to Yale and get my doctoral degree (there's another name for this degree) in Enviromental Law. Other colleges that spark my interest are Harvard, Georgetown, Stanford, Emory, Oxford, and Cornell. Yeah, I know it's still early to think about college, but its better to start thinking early than late.

I'm not saying the public won't ride these rides anymore, or that they are not fun because their not new, when I mean oudated or fad, I speak in terms of the manufacturer and the park. For example, Impulse coasters used to be a very hot item on the coaster market. A lot of chains put these coasters into their park because they were a pioneer in technology, and still are. But as time passed, parks did not ask Intamin for Impulse coasters as much as they used to because of technology. Because there was not a large demand for Impulses, Intamin stopped installing these coasters as much as they used to. But I'm sure that the Impulses coasters that are in the parks are popular rides. I'm sure Wicked Twister has long lines during Cedar Point's season because a lot of people like that ride. Mindbender is one of my favorite rides even though they do not make those kind of rides any more. The public will not stop riding someting just because it is old, or not updated.

Floorlesses are also ones, they used to be one of the hottest things out on the market, but now they are a think in the past. B&M flyers at one time seemed to be out of the picture, but then Magic Mountain built Tatsu. Soon enough though, they will be in the past along with impulse coasters, stand-ups, and those reverse "superman" style rides. B&M Inverts seem to stand in the test of time.
-
In your opinion, what kind of style of roller coasters do you think will not be as popular in the future as they are now ex. Impulse, Rocket, B&M flyers

Yeah that place is real nice, my family and I try to go at least once a summer (even though we haven't been in about three years )

I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed, but do you remember when you had a show on the Travel Channel about your friend who did not really like roller coasters that much, and the show documented you introducing your friend to newride and riding experiences while at Magic Mountain.
