  1. Cedar Point in 2005 - maXair's debut year... Another great photo! I love this picture! Something new has been added to Cedar Fair's park collection...
  2. Gotham featured many villains which I'm most curious about Penguin. I'm not sure the guy in the comedy club was the Joker, was he? Looking forward to seeing where this show goes, but how do you miss a girl dressed up like a cat on your gate entrance pillars? Perhaps we'll see next week.
  3. Marcel, this is a great refreshing take on CP from an employee's POV I have never seen before. Thank you for sharing, and keep more coming!
  4. So cool. Love this update and the Newsies costumes, Robb! Thanks for sharing.
  5. Oh Scandi how I miss you. The '09 TPR trip was so incredible and your TR brings back a lot of warm memories, Bill. I love these updates and thanks for sharing!
  6. I am watching The Strain too...A230385. What does it mean?
  7. ^ Yeah dude the trains on Thunder Road were really cool for the moonshiner theme back then. Thanks for checking out the thread as always!
  8. Hey look, Batman The Ride at BGW. Ninth picture from the bottom. Goes to show how early the pamphlets are made up. Ha Ha Ha...why so serious? (j/k) Thanks Bill...Blue Fall really was great. So amazingly tall! Just imagine about another 100 feet added to it for TTD.
  9. Here's part 1 of a look at Cedar Point in 2003 when Top Thrill Dragster was the new hotness as the world's tallest and fastest coaster on the planet! Fantastical art rendering. Even more fantastical art rendering!
  10. What a great kick-off for the daily September videos! I loved this insane thrill ride...so fun and intense! I wish a few more parks had this ride as it's easily one of the best in the world. Thanks for the vid Robb!
  11. Up this week is Castle Park where I briefly ducked in one night to find all of the rides closed. For all you Chance Fireball (Six Flags) enthusiasts out there...
  12. New England has so many treasures. I love going there, and it's been way too long. Always nice to see pinballs at any park! Thanks for sharing this update.
  13. Love these photo TR's of the more obscure parks in the world. I can't get to Lagoon soon enough. Thanks for sharing!
  14. Last call for Carowinds...2007 Open on Fridays during the summer!
  15. And now into the 2000's when Carowinds is actually open on more than one Friday per season... POSTCARDS Y'ALL TOP GUN!
  16. Repost in case any historians are lurking. I'd be interested to know about Stampede too.
  17. All I can think is that they hosted a lot of corporate events on Fridays, or why would they give up the revenue from the GP? Hopefully someone in the know will speak up. It is puzzling.
  18. More vintage Carowinds this time from 1987... In 1987 the park is still only open for one Friday out of the whole season. Why? Perhaps corporate events?
  19. Competition is a good thing between the local parks (and hamburger places). Looking forward to what KK has up their sleeves to up the ante in a few years!
