From the view of the webcam, it looks like Coastline Plunge is completed execpt for the pool and sidewalks at the bottom of the screen. Lamps have been put up and East Coast Waterworks looks finished. After reviewing a video on coaster-net. I saw a view of the layout of the new area. It looks like there's going to be a midway going from the area between the loading area of canyon river rapids and tidal force all the way to the little circle plaza over by roller soaker. The midway looks like it will be filled with boardwalk style buildings and games. Just think, only 60 more days until we can experience it! The Plans. The newest themed area in 11 years! It's a beautiful day today for me. Nearly 80 degrees and it's still winter! I took a walk today and man was it warm! -
Sounds like another reason for me not to join it!

They could probably use one or two cars for the display that their going to have at the museum. Instead of moving the block brakes and chain dog, couldn't you just put the brake fins and chain dog right in line of where they were before? Or does the frame cause some problems for that. -
Some RCT3 questions

Thanks for that link Steffen_Dk, it seems like it will be very helpful for some of my parks! Are they all safe to download? Because the last thing I want to download is a virus. -
The idea of this park came to me while watching this one show on the travel channel last week about spring break. The show also went into detail on how the locals to these destinations dislike the event. Okay, here's the setting. In eastern Florida not far from Daytona Beach, there is a deserted island about 1 mile out to sea. The locals are sick and tired of all the commotion of spring break. Being a rich billionare, you decide to solve the problem by using that island and turning it into a town/theme park/spring break destination. The island features clean, beautiful beaches and about 90% of the whole park is flat allowing for easy building. The plans for the park include nearly 20 roller coasters, tons of thrill rides and gentile rides, numorous dance clubs and motels, one gigantic hotel as the center attraction, a beautiful cape with a lighthouse for a peaceful setting, a pier, and a waterpark. Right now I've construction on a 4D coaster built on the northern part of the island. I'll also remodel the entrances. Update will be posted soon! More construction. Construction on the hotel has started. The coaster's layout. The park's first coaster called Hurricane andit was built by custom coasters. The park's first club, the Blue Pearl. To get to the island, you must travel across this bridge.

Update Pearl Island is coming along great, So far there are 2 coasters which are called Hurricane and Surge. Hurricane is a woodie which is right aside the park entrace and right next to the parking lot. Surge is just your basic corkscrew coaster. Okay, here's the setting. I was wondering that too. Could they be new trains for the Comet? -

So will the first car in front of each train have those railings? The trains look great! -
Just last night I've started another new park, but it's top secret! The only information I'm going to release about it is the name. Pearl Island I normally prefer using RCT 2 for creating detailed parks, but I'm going to try something new for once. Pics will be posted when I get farther into the project!

UPDATE Yes I got NoLimits and I have to say it's a lot better than RCT3, too bad I can't get the full version. Since I've been kind of slacking off on the project over the last month, my goal for this one is to get the station finished, jojo roll completed with it being lengthened too, and part of the lift done. The design I picked for the station is Hydra coaster-like with the wedge-shaped roof. I also still need to do a tad bit of more work on the train design. Maybe some of you know, but I've joined some other coaster websites too, in hopes of getting the work out about my project and getting some more comments and suggestions on the project if the admins. allow me, if not, it's okay. Below is an Inventor pic of my progress as of today and a concept drawing of the station design. Here's what's done on Inventor so far. I still need to put on the track, roof and railings. A close-up of that angled view. In the middle is the front view and the top, right corner is an angled view.

According to Screamscape, it says that the park is planning on meeting with the township about rezoning. It also said that the coaster could go in the area where the Skyscraper used to be which is near the Laser. -
Sorry if I maybe a wrong, but is Bell's moving to the Tula Fairgrounds, because I see the skyride that they have in the side of the last picture.

UPDATE I've put together a schedule to update on. There will be 3 updates per a month, one update at the beginning of the month that discusses objectives for this month. One in the middle of the month that will review what has or is going to happen. And one at the end of the month that will discuss what has happend. While working on Inventor, I've got the station platform done along with the spine and track crossmembers done inside the station. I still need to add the stairs, operator's booth, railings, and the roof. The roof will be modeled to look like Hydra: The Revenge's station, but with few changes. I still need to figure out the design for the body of the trains because I want something different from the normal 4D coaster trains. I also said about spreading the word about my project on other sites to get some opinions on the project. So far I joined about 2 other sites, so it's a start. Tomorrow, I'll put up my goals for the month ahead.

Update. Various park photos.

Wow! How did you get the supports for the corkscrew coaster and chairlift? They look really real! -
I've been always wondering why they don't build a coaster using zorbs as the cars? The track could be the same as a gigantic bobsled coaster run. It could work.

Looks like a bean bag toss game by the wikipedia pic. -
There's a map in a book that I have of the park in 1972, so I'll use that. Here's some pics. Coaster Corps Hersheypark West Landscape.zip Hersheypark West Landscape Last is Six Flags Over Georgia. I'll save this park for last, but the entrance ain't that bad. I'll add Lake Como and the other attractions later as the park progresses. I also built the famous Skee-Ball building. Now on to Coney Island. I first created a footprint of the Shooting Star, Lost River, etc. Then I will build the ride over it. Also here's the parks midway. Right out of the tunnel, the train goes into 2 loops and then to the brake run. A greenhouse style building housing Galaxy Trooper's spaghetti bowl section. The Yester Land plaza. This is Galaxy Trooper, a greatly filled adrenaline launch coaster this side of the stars! The Entrance Plaza. To get over the highway, I built a miniature suspension bridge and a decked out main gate entrance. Here's what's accomplished so far. This is the toll gate for the parking lot. It even comes with a cool sign to advertise!
