Pearl Island Vacation Complex
Ccron10 replied to Ccron10's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I fixed the graphics problem by setting it to custom and setting it all unchecked and now it runs as smooth as when I started the park. The bad side is that I won't be able take clear pics for awhile so I'll just verbally update the park for the time being. -
I'd have to say that the Discovery Kingdom and Great Adventure commericals are better than the other two on targeting the younger crowd, but I can't get away from thinking how cool the other two are!

^ I really agree with you on that one! My dad and I usually watch them.

There's not much to talk about today, just that the roller soaker station has been built. I've just wondered something... Could it be possible to create a remake of Hersheypark on RCT3? I know I tried to accomplish this a couple times in the past, 3 or 4 times on RCT 2 and 2 times on RCT3, but I had a hard time. Doing this would be a great way to honor the park for it's 100th anniversery. -
Do We Have Any Bowlers in the Crowd?
Ccron10 replied to GeorgiaDawg278's topic in Random, Random, Random
I'm on the bowling team for my school and since the first match I had a great time! My average can be anything from 120 to 150, but my highest game is a 196. I'm getting better. -

I've added 4 new water attrations to the water park area. A roller-soaker, family tub ride, a dolphin show and a ship side. The roller soaker soars over the whole water park and the tub side is near the two golden statues. What's a boardwalk park with out the gigantic ferris wheel on a amusement pier? The tub slide is short but sweet with a little airtime hill towards the end. The coolest roller soaker around....or which it's planned to be! There's a little underwater viewing area surrounding the dolphin stadium. -

I can't wait for the waterpark and the 2007 season! How comes you couldn't get some pics of the construction? Just wondering. -

3 new rides for the water park have been built. One is just a basic sliding board, the second is a tornado tube ride and the third is a lazy river called Ocean River. The water park will have a tropical theme to it and will have tons of slides and attractions. In the park, the buildings for Cyber Surfing Xtreme have been built and a Phoenix Twister ride has been built by the Pearl Island hotel called Phoenix's Phlight. My goal for tomorrow is to add more gentile and thrill rides and to add more to the water park. Comments are welcome! This little strech of land will be kept ride-less to make it a romantic spot for guests who are in love. A view of the park and hotel from the lazy river. A guest's eye view of the new Tornado Tube water slide. Here's a view from the boardwalk of the new waterpark. -

Scenery for Maximium Thrill is completed along with a station and photo building for Cyclone Racer. The water park has also started construction although it's only just a wave pool and entrance. I hope to have a very compacted water park with as many slides as possible too. Maximium Thrill station facing southwest. Maximium Thrill station facing northeast. The entrance for Maximium Thrill. Cyclone Racer's buildings. The water park. -

Today's goal is to add more trees and scenery, construct buildings for Cyclone Racer, and Cyber Surfing. I also still need to start construction on Tiger Tim's Tot Area and also more gentile and thrill rides. Other plans that are in the works are a Dolphin Show, Sky Coaster, and Thrill Shot ride, all will require a seperate addmission price. A ferry system still needs to be built, a train and a possible subway. As far as coasters, I want the park to have a wide variety of type of coasters. Ones planned are a half-pipe, hyper, and maybe a strata-coaster, also maybe 4 family and kiddie coasters. EDIT: The game has been running quite slow lately and my settings are at High Performance, should I lower it down to Performance level? -

Update! Construction on the Pearl Island Resort Hotel is completed! Everything's done execpt for the glass windows that will cover the porches. A skyride has been built that runs from near the Axis roller coaster to a place near the Hurricane. It is called basically Skyride West. Later, Skyride East, Skyride North, and Skyride South will be built. Since I was bored during study hall today, I'm thnking about creating a website with more information on the park. There's no date when I'll have it done. The Skyride North station. A view from the Maximum Thrill turnaround. It's finally completed! A nice view looking towards Lighthouse Point from the viewing deck at the top of the hotel. -

Update! Construction on the boardwalk portion of the park has started and only a couple of structures done. A double racing coaster called Cyclone Racer, a tribute to those classic pier coasters is built which only leaves me to construct the buildings. A zipper ride was built on the pier and a line of shops have been built. Tomorrow, I hope to build more attractions on the pier and start the water park. The boardwalk so far, looking south. Cyclone Racer is just your basic wooden racing coaster. -

Yes, I got it with Wild and I did change the color of Axis to a black and yellow track with red grey supports color. I'd like to keep the bunny hops though because I made the seats tilt back to around 60 degrees and then at the tops of the hills, shoot right back to zero for an ultimate airtime feeling. An update will be coming really soon! -

It's nice, but they should of brought the Park Info button down to the yellow bar because it's small and hardly noticeable. -

Only the robot coaster got built today because of the lack of time and the programing of the train's movements, but I think it's one of the best rides yet to be added to the park. It is called Cyber Surfing Extreme and will feature only 3 levels instead of 2. Some happy guests on Hurricane. Cyber Surfing Extreme's layout -

It's actually a different layout with just the same logo. I'll try this afternoon to get pics up. Here's some more info on the Robot Coaster. It will be called Net Surfing where you and 3 other people go face to face in a 4 level water sking competition. The course gets more dynamic as the ride progresses. The ride will also be a powered launched coaster and will reach 55mph as the top speed. I also plan on working on the boardwalk in the back of the park. I already have the main paths layed out so I should have no problem. I plan on adding a classic wooden racing coaster on a pier along with other classic rides. I plan on having many numerous methods of transportation like a subway, a 4 station skyride, ferry system and train. Lastly, I still need to finish that large hotel. This is my first realistic RCT 3 park and I'm very proud of it. -

Here's today's progress... The Axis station is completed, 2 robocoasters were added, a pizza place was built and a new dance club has started construction. Tomorrow I plan to add a robot coaster around Axis and finish the dance club. COMMENTS PLEASE!!!! More construction. The side view of Axis and the entrance. Front view of Axis. The future area's midway. The construction of the Culture Shock dance club. -
Okay, okay. This weekend, I just started working on the railings for the station and they look cool! They are flat red and look just like those generic railings on RCT 3. I didn't get a chance to print out pics yet, but I'll try to get some soon. Also, I went to this one Amish Lancaster County hardware store and I found what type chain I want to use for the lift. Future updates will be posted on my signature.

Here's today's progress. Axis is finished, but the station and paths still need to be constructed. A Rotor has been built down next to the photo booth for the Hurricane. It's not much, but it's progress. Please Comment!!! A liitle banner on the construction fence announcing Axis. Maximum Thrill has tons of tunnels and is located in a ditch in front of the large hotel. Surge from the park entrance. The front midway facing Hurricane. Axis! -

Update. Just yesterday I started construction on this floorless extended coaster in front of the large hotel. It combinds the Incredible Hulk and Hydra all into one and it's called Maximum Thrill. My objective for the next couple of days is to finish this 4D coaster called Axis which is over next to the Blue Pearl Dance Club and to add a children's area called Tiger Tim's Tot Land. There will also be a couple of other attraction added too. Comments PLEASE! -

Frog Princess - Disney's First Black Princess
Ccron10 replied to Ryan King's topic in Random, Random, Random
Looking at the picfrom a distance, she kind of looks more like a man than a woman. Don't get me wrong the idea of a black princess is a good idea, but I think they could do a little better job on drawing up the character. -

Also, try to make your skyride stations more realistic. Maybe build the station about 10 ft above the ground. Another thing, almost every skyride has towers to support the cable so don't just build them at the top of hills, space the towers out every ten squares. If you want to go the extra mile, I use sky bucket cars on my skyrides, they're really cool. Good wooden coaster, just add walls inside the tunnel so you don't look at a big open space inside.
